after effects closes on startup, not removable video card
Hi all
Lately, I get this message:
The Nvidia Geforce GT 650 M device is not removable and cannot be ejected or unplugged.
First of all, I got this message from random and every time I got it I had to force my laptop. At present it shows only upward when you start after effects cc 2015.3.
The after effects and my drivers are up to date. I run windows 7 64 bit on my laptop.
Someone know a solution for this or do you think that it's hardware related?

It is resolved.
I asked the support of asus and they send me updates good driver for intel and nvidia.
Looks like the update via config nvidia didn't so I did a clean install for the Asus support update send me.

first try to connect and then back to your desktop cc application. If you are unable to install your programs after doing this, stilll follow solution 2 here, CC Office lists the applications as "up to date" when it is not installed.

After effects error: layer does not have a source.
Hi all
I add a text layer and then add my custom fill effect. Then I call AdvItemSuite1()-> PF_ForceRerender (in_data, & (params [0]-> u.ld)) of the CEAP for all layers. But only for the text layer, AE will appear a dialog box displays the following error message:

Why is this happening? What other call can I use to render all the layers?

text layers is really a source (as opposed to solids which do).
any source operation you will do an a text layer will give an error.
It goes the same for shape layers.

Hello Dell Community. I read through the sticky XPS compatibility and some discussions on upgrading video cards. However, I couldn't find something that fits my needs. If you all can help me with this, would be great!Characteristics of the computer:
- Dell Xps 8500
- Intel Core i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40 GHZ
- 16 GB of Ram
- 64-bit operating system
- AMD Radeon HD 7570
Needs:
- Run newer games of 2014/2015 without lag on medium to high heat (GTA V)
- Relatively easy to install (remove some screws and paste the video card in and voila!)
- No need to upgrade the power supply
Budget is $ 200-250:
- Obviously the lower the better and if need be, the budget is flexible. Depends on if the gain is important for the payment of the sum.

Adobe After Effects CS5.5 does not display. AVI Video. Help!
I have a computer of the first order, of the video card, ram, a quad core processor. All other video files work fine, but my camera (insignia HD) exports in .avi, and. MOV, and for one of my images in After Effects, I must therefore use other programs to make the video file to another type of file, which considerably hampers my quality, and I just don't have the time to do. I've seen others on the importation of youtube videos. AVI files but for some reason I can't. I mean I can, but it just appears in the thumbnail under white with green sound waves below and playing anything. becomes very frustrating. Ive looked for answers on google but I can not find. What may be a codec problem? Also my. AVI files work very well on programs such as power Director 9 and Windows movie maker. Just not After effects.
Help would be GREATLY appreciated, please and thank you.

Thanks Dave, I appreciate your help. Wasent necessary, but no worrys sarcasm I see your photo, you're a bit of ancient origin, so I understand. I infact "read the manual" infact it is the first thing I did. It did not help, but then again why would it? for its insignia brand. (cheap as dirt) Anyway, the .avi files are still not working but I went out to. MOV, and it works like a charm solved problem. I appreciate your help.

Problems trying to update after effects 2014 as mentioned in the title.

After Effects, camera approach could not get the connection to the server dynamic links
This was the blind. I'm now consistenly a dynamic server connection attempt to use the camera close in After Effects.

I activated all the programs recommended through my firewall. I see the dynamiclink server is running in my task manager, I closed all other programs, no antivirus, I restarted my computer, no luck with that.
Also to add additional information:
It seems that when I try to replace with After Effects composition in Premiere Pro I get the error: the importer reported a generic error
and also when I first launch After effects I'm a failure to load a few plugins of CineForm including importer

I'll guess that the images that you try to stabilize a MP4 or some other flavor of video encoded with a codec MPEG-4 (such as H.264). Is this correct? If so, and if he's going to let you not stabilize this one, try to use Adobe Media Encoder to transcode only images in a codec of intermediate production (such as QuickTime with the PNG codec) and then try to stabilize that. There is a curiosity added to this, however - when I've updated to the Mavericks, he added a CUDA driver in my system preferences and had me install a update for it. I think that this is related to the problem, since I don't have an nVidia card installed.

You shouldn't have CUDA software isntalled on that computer. Uninstall it.

After Effects CS4 Sniffer_gpu does not work
After Effects worked fine a few minutes ago and then the next time that I started it all of a sudden it gave me this message that sniffer_gpu had ceased to function. Looks like your mask has too many paths of access or summits. Try to turn on caps lock shift before you open the ASP (project file) or before you launch AE. If this does not clear your Cache and preferences. If this does not resolve the problem, we need workflow details that let you to this error.

I was interested to get a subscription to the cloud, but I just found out that my GPU is not compatible with After Effects. It's a deal breaker. Can't believe that there isn't a patch or something for this graphics card excellent!
The only feature in After Effects for which this card cannot be used is acceleration GPU of the obsolete plotted in 3D rendering engine Department. All the other features of After Effects GPU must serve very well as this card. Keep in mind that After Effects uses the GPU for very little, so the GPU doesn't matter much for After Effects, anyway.
