After Effects CS4 crashes within a framework made all

Hey,.

I am running After Effects 9.0.2 on a maxed out MacBook Pro-life processor 3.06 Core 2 Duo, 8 GB memory, Mac OS X 10.5.8- and my settings memory are extremely conservative-no multi-processing, a lot of RAM for AE, flying over 4 GB. I can wait a little longer if it helps to avoid a deadlock, but nothing helped.

No matter what treatment settings I try, After Effects no longer responds and the cursor "anime" on a certain range (894). I've isolated makes only a few images around this framework, and I tried all the previous problems once again, still nothing. It seems that the AdobeCrashDaemon is not picking up on the spot, because I could not submit anything to Adobe, I got no error message and I have to force quit the application manually.

I'm pretty sure it's because of this framework, I've changed the frame rate you can hear it a few different times, and it always crashes at or near this place.

I try to make out with the movie settings-Quicktime "Loseless" etc. and added audio (default settings). I also tried several other exits without success.

I tried the purge of executives all 30 and many different RAM, OpenGL, PCBs and assortment of configurations. Nothing works. I can't any kind either error message, I tried of you connecting make by image and tried ignoring errors in the menu secrets so that they could be connected, still nothing. Any tips?

I am fairly new to After Effects, so let me know if I need to include anything else; the project file is attached. Most of the project is generated, and I don't know if I am legally able to view other sources, so its only the project file. Maybe someone can check and see if it is just my configuration? I tried the process too-not that I can make sense, but maybe someone from Adobe can.

When you say 'great CC Particle World', you made me wonder if this was perhaps part of the problem. Particle systems can be very resource intensive for rendering. I would try to reduce the number of particles (or even shut down this effect) temporarily to see if it's the crux of the problem.

  • After Effects CS4 is no longer loading after installing Office 08

    During the Christmas break, I installed Office 08 and her sewing to have mucked something upward in CS4, After effects because it won't load, the program starts to load libraries and all that stuff of the splash screen and crashes when loading the user interface

    After effects brought long before I installed office 08. Anyone know what's happened and how to fix it? The strange thing is, it works on a couple of Mac, but the majority of the lab is having this problem.

    I tried a lot of things:

    -Completely uninstalled office 08 and preferences
    -CS4 to uninstall and manually delete all the files preference
    -Locate the font files and compare fonts with that of a working mac
    -Create a new login
    -Update for After effects 9.0.2

    After spending hours and hours and hours, in doing so, I had no chance to resolve the issue. Help will be greatly appreciated... I backup all the data and re - install Leopard next week if nobody knows how to solve this problem.

    The failure appears to be in the FLV QuickTime component, which is a FLV to QuickTime as Adobe Flash exporter (or older versions of Macromedia) installs in your [home folder] / Library/QuickTime.  After Effects loads such matter which component that QuickTime is available (they appear in the file > export menu).

    First of all, try to remove the com.macromedia.FLVExporter in your folder [user name] / Library/Preferences, if it is present.  Otherwise, remove the FLV QuickTime component, I described above.

    It is also theoretically possible that the failure is to the next component in the folder of QuickTime, not the FLV component components.  You might could just remove all of the contents of this file and see what happens.

  • I did a shape layer, and it moves in After Effects CS4.

    I'm working on a project that has a lot of masks and shape layers to frame masks in After Effects CS4. For example the timeline that I am focusing is 3 seconds long; There is 2 keyframes in the shape layer (vertical rectangle), key frames are 3 seconds gap and are at the same position (511.1,89.5). If I go to the beginning of the seconds 3 press the space bar and let him play for some reason any moves the rectangle from left to right. Although keyframes aren't there, he is moving-even thought the last keyframe to the left is the same as the next keyframe law - as the first screenshot

    The best solution, I came up with for this is to copy and paste keyframes so that there is a keyframe for each frame within 3 seconds, then I get a schedule like the second screen shot.

    Is there something I could use where I could select 2 identical keys seconds out and make the form remain in the same spot with them into the second screenshot? It is speed and things happen quickly in this case isn't it?

    I also had an another question-are there - it a shortcut to insert a keyframe in the timeline? I found a page with all the shortcuts and couldn't find this one should be.

    As keyboard shortcuts you go to hold down the option/alt key and the keyboard shortcut ' Show/Hide properties ' to switch between adding and removing keyframes.  Adobe does not have the freedom to document them all in their page keyboard shortcuts, so here goes:

    Option + P: Position keyframe

    Option + R: Rotation keyframe (adds the keyframe at all values of rotation and orientation if the layer is 3D)

    Option + S: Scale keyframe

    Option + A: keyframe Anchor Point

    Option-T: Opacity keyframe (adding a keyframe of intensity if the layer is a 3D light)

    Option + M: Keyframe mask path

    Option + F: Mask Feather keyframe

    Option + L: Levels Audio keyframe

    * This does that for the single letter shortcuts - double letters do not work (i.e. TT for the opacity of the mask, RR for the time remapping, etc.).

    * Option + shift + the letter will work too which is good if you have reconfigured the Option + letter for other things such as throwing scripts - that I have.

    On the "boomerang" effect, I highly recommend you go to your preferences > "Général" tab and turn on 'by default spatial interpolation to linear', then you can manually add the Bezier handles to your keyframes in the composition Viewer if need be.

  • Break the effect of causes After Effects to crash

    Hoping someone can help me understand this problem. I created this rotation of the Earth in After Effects...

    and I try to add a glow effect, but whenever I do, it causes After Effects to crash. I am trying to add the glow effect

    to the layer of Earth which has a CC sphere effect already added to it. I even tried to precompose that layer first, but it did not help.

    My computer has 9.0 GB of RAM so I don't think that's the problem.  I have CS4 v 9.0.3.8 any help would be appreciated.

    Make sure that you moved all attributes into the new composition all early component.

    I essentially built a project in After Effects CS4, but unfortunately, my computer is quite poor and crashes during rendering. So I was wondering if there is a way for me to all of the transfer project to another computer with After Effects, in order to make and edit it more it instead. Thank you.

    Collect files command to gather all the images in a single folder, copy the folder to an external drive and move it to the new computer. You must also do ot sure that fonts and the codecs used are installed on the new computer.

  • Effects of lightsaber using the dynamic link with Premiere pro and After Effects CS4

    Hi all

    I'm working on a video project and that you want to add a lightsaber effect, but a layer which is suppose to be transparent isn't using dynamic links.

    I shot the video in my head, and everything else hidden.  I made a flash body to put my head on.  Now I know how to make a lightsaber in After Effects CS4. (starting with comp 1 with videos making a white solid layer, and then using the tool pen to make the sword.  Then copy the sequences video and place it in comp 2.  Then to return to comp 1 and remove the video sequences. then on comp 1 making a SOLID BLACK LAYER {that's the problem} and place it under the layer of white.  Then duplicate the white layer 3 times.  Changing each feather white layer mask to make the glow.  so going to comp 2 and take the 1 model and her nest to model 2...  Then change the blending mode of the model nested 1 to the screen.

    The main timeline in Premiere Pro CS4 and I have the video layer 1 to Photoshop file which is pink and the background of this project.  I made a dynamic link to After Effects and copied and pasted the video images and flash to the comp.  Here, I made the lightsaber.

    That is the problem.  The model of dynamic links with video, flash and the lightsaber will not show my pink background in Premiere Pro shows him my video, flash and lightsaber but the background is black.  In case of problems, I noticed if I turn off the LAYER BLACK for the lightsaber effect, I see my pink background with video and flash sequences and the glow of sabre, but my blue lightsaber color will not appear.

    Do more problems I set photoshop to lightsaber model file and I see the video, the flash, the lightsaber but I think because the background is pink I don't get a color glow to the sword (vilot color)

    If the layer of black is supposed to be transparent, so why can't see my background in Premiere Pro using dynamic links?

    P. S. - one-way I kinda had this work was I took one of the masks of white and copied and pasted layers in nested layer comp 1.  Adjusted to the width of the mask and the pen and I got a glow of blue ok.  You just can't mask width too because it shows a lot of black.  It is not as good as I want and I hope someone can help...

    Well, blend modes don't create transparency, so the behavior is correct - because technically, the background of the model is ignored for the mix of operations, in areas where there are no content below for the mix, only the layer of black color is used. You create transparency good, real luminance based on unmultiplying, that can be done with the Knoll Unmult plugin Red Giant Software (free) or the effect of changing the channel of the AE monitoring bey a color delete effect.

    I'm trying to install Adobe After effect Cs4 and I get this error message when I download it. I bought my friend's computer and I saw he had adobe after effect file and I am trying to install it. He did not ask a serial number or anything, so I think that my friend already put a serial number on it.  I was tried everything adobe Web site has to offer. Help, please!

  • After Effects constantly crashing

    I have this annoying problem that I don't know if began to arrive after the last update, but it was everything works OK until After Effects started crashing everytime I click on and drag a layer in my computer. Move everything from one place to the other. The same thing happens if I want to move a media file from the Finder to the model project, I click, drag and the application crashes on the trail. I already tried to uninstall and reinstall and the problem persists.

    Anyone?

    I deleted my user preferences on my OS and now everything works as it should.

    Hello Adobe community.

    We have Adobe Creative Suite CS4 Design Premium for Mac, which does not include an After Effects CS4, I discovered. I found the download link for this in the downloads section, but of course, it will fail to activate with CS4 Design Premium serial number we have.

    I did not need after effects CC or any new version, after that Effects CS4 is one that we need - is there no way to buy a license or serial number just for that?

    correct, there is no way to purchase/license any product pre - cs6 Adobe including ae cs4.  you will have to buy a 3rd party and try your luck buy adobe cs6 (or subscribe to cc and 'rent' your cs6 and/or adobe products cc).

  • AVI out after Effects CS4 vs CS6 for LED panels

    I do with After Effects cs4 avi to play on billboards and have no problem of transmission at the sign. Customers say that they upgraded to After Effects cs6 and avi will play is no longer on the sign. There may be no compression on a file for a LED sign to play but the cs6 files I have seen have no compression and all parameters are the same as in cs4. I want to spend my Department to the latest version of After Effects but not if it will not work with LED signs.

    It is my hypothesis that the specifications listed by aardeb in his last post are output parameters, he faces problems with AE, not the specifications required by its system of signalling LED.  Equipment LED the most traffic I've seen requires content uncompressed of one kind or another.

    If that is correct, must be resolved in the output Module

    IM considering Adobe After Effects CS4 and I found the title of the film DAYBREAKER (2009) a very interesting to create effect, I hope you can give me some tutorials on how to do it... Please! more power, NOTES: im using adobe after effects cs4

    From what I've seen on the trailer for this film, titles are a modified version of George flowing Peolvoy title tutorial posted on Creative Cow about 10 years ago. You can find the tutorial here.

    The effect on the type of glass can be reproduced using layer effects in Photoshop and / or then apply the layer effects to your text layer directly in AE. You will find a lot of these tutorials by doing a simple search on Google for glass Photoshop text.

    There is not a single click, a plugin solution, but if you integrate the effects of layer, a card of displacement, a compound blur and keyframes for position a little + blur of movement, you should be able to reproduce the effect exactly. Tutorial of George should help you get started. If I remember correctly the project files were for AE 4.1 so they probably will not open in CS4.
