After Effects CS6: Cache and reload the film problem

I have trouble to get my images to be updated in an AE project.

In an existing project, there is a sequence of images in a publication.  I saved and closed AE, modified images (same size and quantity of images, only the pixel data changes) and then restarted AE and open the project.  Although I've changed the images, the old content still appears.

To resolve this problem, I did the following:

Edition > purge > all memory

Edition > purge > picture Cache memory

Edit > Preferences > media & Disk Cache > clear Disk Cache

Edit > Preferences > media & Disk Cache > clean database & Cache

In the project window, I selected all the sequences and selected Reload

None of them got the images to update.  I could click the film twice in the project bin and scrub the playhead and the old footage was still displayed.

Finally, I had to replace the film with himself and that solved the problem.

If it is operator error, lack of understanding of the functions of cache, or something else, I would be grateful for some assistance. I don't remember this behavior in CS 5.5, so I think it's a change in SC6.

I think I found the solution or what the cause of the problem, at least in my case!

I exported the image many in a single folder and later imported into AE sequence choose all together multiple sΘquence. I then created a model composition copied several times and tried to replace valid images dragging in their computer and replacing the model holding Alt. But it does not work. Everything I've done.

SOLUTION: move footage in each separate folder (in Solution Explorer) and then imported one after the other and rest is all used!

    • Remove all entries that has name of adobe. Then close the Textedit, it will Autosave.
    • Make sure that there is no entry of Adobe on the inside.
    • Then copy and paste the Hosts file in folder etc.
    • We replace the modified hosts file that we had copied on the desktop with the original Hosts file inside the folder etc.
    • When you are prompted, the authentication by password Mac,
    • Be sure to select the option Replace ...
    • Once you have replaced the Hosts file, double click on it again and check if the Hosts file is free of Adobe entries.

    Then try to activate the CS 6 apps using the serial number, it shud work.

    No one can tell you anything without the proper system or other technical details info. This error means that you already have an ACR update installed, and so the old version installed with AE may not make sense. in these circumstances, you will need to uninstall any other Adobe program you use or you run the cleanup tool...

    Hi, I downloaded After Effects CS6 (2 files of the Adobe site). I unzipped the files and I select the configuration to launch the installation process.

    "Initializing Installation" window, after some time the closed window and the installation process stop, nothing more.

  • After Effects CS6 installation Issues

    I had problems with After Effects CS6. I uninstalled the product and when I went to reinstall it, every time I went to open an error comes up saying that the version I have of "After Effects CS6" version 11, is not compatible with my Mac OS X. I didn't with Apple and they said I have the version more to their OS X update and maybe I need a version more to update to After Effects. Can someone help with this problem?

    This is not a configuration which After Effects CS6 will use for the GPU of the 3D rendering engine acceleration traced to the RADIUS.

    Don't be afraid to use multiple layers and duplicates of your images.

    Another thing to do is apply the grid to a solid effect, before dialing the solid, then use Set Matte to extract the alpha of your layer to key. There are 1 million ways to do what you want to do, but most of them cannot be done without the help of several layers.

    From what I was told by an employee, newer than 10.7 Mac must subscribe in the cloud instead of buy CS6... and someone with Win10 must also subscribe to the cloud for CS6 is not compatible (meaning that the seller will ask you your operating system and not sell you CS6 if she does not work on your computer... I don't know if this means that Win7 and you can't buy if you have Win8)
