  What do you mean by 'the Australia Standard?  1090 x 620 no standard exists to my knowledge.

  The file size of 100MB for 29 seconds video online is huge, and I can't imagine any web viewer sitting around waiting 10 minutes for the 29 seconds of the video to download.  What, precisely, do you online with this file?  Wherever it is affected and who is the audience target?

  In Australia, among the main companies of distribution of media TV is AdStream.  They distribute 30 second standard def TV commercials for television networks to the Quicktime H264 format.  They ask files compressed to 15000 kbps, resulting in sizes of files about 30 to 40 MB for a TVC 30 sec.  Maybe that's a good basis for your own encoding, according to what the goal is.

  Yes, usable only between the same dynamic link versions products. You can complete rditing and export a first Pro CC and take it to After Effects for further editing, but dynamic linking is not possible in this case.

  I find that I keep coming back to composition my very simple animations - for most of the Ken Burns effects with bits of Flash or gif - in iMovie. I find iMovie so weird - and there is NO control when text or other elements "just disappear." As seen on the forums all the time, thought I was losing my mind!) I use AE - but I find it a little difficult to learn. This is a such great bear of a program & my needs are simple.   AE CS6... cool.  If you have ALL CS6, it is not necessary for iMovie God awful - it is for consumers, and it does not work with any very good Quicktime codecs.  Creation can do the trick for you.  And I wouldn't go play with the operating system on your Mac if things work well at the moment.  Personally, I am revolted by FCPX.  But maybe you want to because you are working in iMovie.  It's something like $ 300.

  I'm sure you will find AE tutorials do Ken Burns-type stuff just by Googling the following: "Ken Burns" AND "After Effects".

  Although it seems to be a white border when you first fill the snip, after saving it shouldn't be present more.

  If the border remains you can remove by using the crop tool on a photo editing programs such as integrated Windows Paint program.

  Looks like you want to make the background transparent. If so, follow these steps:

  1. If the scrolling in the Palette thumbnail layers is named 'Background' (the default value for jpg), rename it. Just a double click on the layer and accept the name of neww DEFAULT "Layer 0".

  2. activate the magic wand with the contiguous option unchecked.

  3. click anywhere in the blank for select all and . White is now transparent, indicated by the checkerboard:

  

  Note that this also works if the background is uniformly white broken or even a different color.

  Save this as a file type that supports transparency, such as PSD, PNG, TIFF.
