  I found the solution smh... Adobe originally had the Mercury Playback accelerated GPU (OpenCL)-updated rendering engine after having upgraded to the new operating system and Adobe CC the default rendering engine update affects the MERCURY PLAYBACK ENGINE SOFTWARE ONLY. Just change the rendering engine to Mercury Playback accelerated GPU (OpenCL) and bingo your back in the game will thank me later. Peace.

I couldn't understand what causes this. Is - this Maverick on my 2008 Mac Pro? is this a bug in link 12.1 or dynamic? Or I can solve this with a simple setting somewhere in Maverick or AE?

  I had a few problems with rendering and downturns serveral times in first, sequels and even after updating the mavericks, I found in other forums that the new feature called NAP was the problem, after you stop this, adobe prodcuts works like a charm. Go to your folder application, do a right-click your application and check the option to turn off the NAP, tell me if it works for you.

  I try to use after affects, but somehow, it's very slow. I know that the problem is not with my computer processor, because the first, Photoshop and Illustrator work very well. Uninstall McAfee.  There is no virus circulating currently which can do damage to OS X, so this time programs, the antivirus are not necessary.  The majority of them, what I and other contributors here have seen, adversely affects the performance of any system they are installed on.  In addition, they protect you from what Mac users really need to worry, which is malware and adware.  Malware and adware programs are installed by you, unlike viruses, who settle.  The most common way in this case is when you download something via torrent or a comprehensive download site, as many times these installers are provided with the malware and adware.  When you install one, install you this.
  2. Uninstall CleanMyMac 3.  Mac don't need any program that claims it will be driven, clean, optimize, refresh, or organize your computer.  Programs like CMM are called scamware for a reason.
  3. Uninstall Trusteer.  See #1 why.  If an antivirus program on a Mac is bad, more than one is even worse.

  I want to reproduce the composition idling, so can I be sure that the animations are smooth.

  I find that sometimes you see gaps in your animation when you play back image by image, but barely, you notice that something can be turned off when you play the timeline in real time. So it would be to "check" your images. I find the approach of the image by image a bit tedious for a long composition.

  Is this possible?

• After Effects very slow on El Capitan when working with network shares?

  Hi all

  After upgrading my machine to work at El Capitan, After Effects is very slow, it is barely usable more. I'm working on a particular project with a few TIFF sequences located on a file server. Of loading TIFF seems to take forever, each image hangs on 'recover the framework' for a while. Saving and loading of the project are also very slow.

  The problem is not the server or the network connection. Same project was pretty quick on 10.10. If I open the TIFF in the Finder, everything is normal. If I open the project in Windows, installed on the same machine, everything is normal.

  Anyone has the same problem, or even a solution to this?

  Hi all

  The solution for us here was to spend our smb share to afp via an OSX Server. Then using go > connect to server... (afp://yourserver.com/yourshare) to connect to the share. After that first and Effects now work as expected again. Sequences, ram, rendered image preview are all back at speed.

  If go back us to a smb share everything slows down again so that it points definitely there for us.

  We are on the last update of CC2015 (13.7.0.124)

  Such a relief to have all this working again. There seems to be a combination of SMBS and El Cap that we were on smb before the upgrade.

  Update! updates for Adobe Media Encoder, Premiere Pro, After Effects, prelude, hearing and SpeedGrade You are missing some very important bugfixes for the AE. CS6 should be version 11.0.4 not 11.0.0.x

  This page lists all of the GPU that are certified to work with the ray-traced rendering engine in AE: system requirements | After Effects there are a number of Web pages out there that guide you through a 'hack' that helps the AE to use NVIDIA GPUs which are not on this list to make them speed up the ray-traced rendering engine. You might consider to go that route. It is not technically supported by Adobe, but it is unlikely that cause damage to try it. Just make sure you make a backup copy of all the files that you are changing.

  Otherwise, you might consider upgrading to version 12 or 13 After effects that come with Cinema 4 d for free! Details of CINEMA 4 d with After Effects integration

  Add more RAM would be not bad either (it only would not help for this current problem, but 12 GB on the low end for the work of EI in general).
