  If you take the time to register to your original with Adobe installation (which most people do not), you can log in to your Adobe account and get the serial number. If you use a Windows computer and still have access to the old computer where Lightroom is installed, you can do the following:

  1. in the window folder options, make sure that you are able to see hidden folders.

  2. go to the C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Lightroom folder.

  3. use Notepad to open the file, Lightroom 5.0 Registration.lrreg

  You will be able to retrieve your serial number of this file.

  It happened as follows:
  I downloaded the embedded firmware of comebuy.com.
  The main reason was to install Russian keyboard, that I managed to do in building and flashing Gaia.
  The Gaia was branch v1.4, and some applications do not work properly (camera & keyboard, in particular).
  Then I made the fatal mistake, it seems--rather than return to the v1.3, I decided to build & flash v1.4 Gecko. Almost everything has worked except that I hit a bug where the SIM card wasn't working at first but the flight mode switch & stop fixed the situation. However, after a restart, the screen just off right after the boot of the fox image display. At this point, the system always started in normal mode, so I tried to recompile Gaia again and on-camera flash. And then only the recovery mode became available =.

  Then, I tried various things, and the current state is:

  • modes of recovery & bootloader works
  • updates cannot be applied, fail with "E: signature verification failed" for the rooted and official firmware
  • fastboot flash does not work, printing the message "FAILED (distance: flash write failure)" whenever
  • ADB shell does not work - everything first, it has been barking on bad permissions (-exec "/ system/bin/sh" has no permission denied (13)), by now, I deleted the partition/system altogether using fastboot because adb push printed an error message on any space left on the device, and I thought that maybe helps erase some of the partitions (it was too naïve way I confess...)

  Now, I return to the firmware of origin, either from site Internet ZTE or comebuy.com. The more appropriately seem to apply an update to the recovery mode, but the failure of the audit must somehow be circumvented.

  OK, I was able to unbrick it. My main problem was that I deleted the system partition, which created additional problems.

  A few facts:

  3. create or use the existing system / update.zip directory, if there is a problem with sending large files on the device (as in my case), you can keep only lib /, bin /, build.prop file - which makes for simple ~ 50Mb; or maybe even just build.prop, I didn't try that
  4. create the directory system.img, using the command line ' make_ext4fs-l < size in MB > M - a system if file_contexts system.img < directory with system / files > '
  5. the on-camera flash: fastboot flash system system.img - now that there will be no problem of nonexistent /system/build.prop when applying updates
  6. Then, run 'fastboot boot recovery.img"where the recovery.img is from the extracted zip file
  7. Finally, apply the update via ADB or SD
