After I close Firefox and reopen it, my app tabs are not. Is this correct?
Firefox does not save my app tabs. Is this normal or is at - it a setting I'm missing.
Are clear you your recent history when you close Firefox?
Firefox stores Details of the Group tab and App Tabs in the same file that stores the details of browsing sessions. Make sure that you have not set Firefox to delete browsing history. For details about the parameter to check, see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Clear+Recent+History
Also, be sure that you are not in (permanent) private browsing mode.
- Click on the orange Firefox button and select Options
- In the Options window go to the Panel for the protection of personal information
- For the parameter "Will Firefox", set it to be 'Remember history', or if set on "Use the custom settings for history", deselect "Permanent navigation Mode" setting private

Whenever I close Firefox (when I'm leaving for a few days, or when the office closes from one day to the next day for some reason toher) and reopen it, the tabs that I got at the last session (usually calendar Google and Facebook) not open automatically. Google gmail tab is there - and I am sure that I always have to login.
The indications 'Aid' Firefox says (1) close by clicking the Firefox button at the top of the window, then clicking on "exit". To open, click Firefox at the top, click on 'Options', select 'Général' and select ' show my windows and tabs from last time. " The option 'Show my windows etc.' was already there, but I clicked OK, then closed according to the instructions and open - Firefox to not see any tabs and windows but Google gmail.Previous Session Restore appears only on the homepage by default - Subject: House - not on the old Firefox Google start page - http://www.google.com/firefox or any other user defined homepage.
There is also a menu item in the history of previous Session Restore, which does the same thing as on the subject: homepage.

I keep Firefox open at almost any time and when I load a new page and try and play a video, that this is on youtube, Facebook or another source, it will not play. He stays right on the loading circle all the time. The only time where things happen is when I completely quit Firefox and re - start. It's pretty frustrating for me because I often have several tabs open with I'm working on other things that I don't want to close. I would appreciate any advice. Thank you
These are going to close, and then restart Firefox, reload of the current session.

Sites passwords are stored, but still not "active"; I have to go to options/security and check the box remember passwords at each Firefox session. Didn't used to be this way. Apparently one of your recent "improvements" have lowered the this function for me. How can I convince to save this setting?

Using version 5.0.1 on Windows 7
You can check for problems with the file localstore.rdf.
- https://support.Mozilla.org/KB/toolbar+keeps+resetting
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).
- Do not click on the reset button on the start safe mode window or make changes.

After update automatically to 32.0.3 Thursday last Monday on the computers of all of our employees and boss both Win7 pro and XP pro, we saw Firefox sessions that will not bring the print dialog box. The print preview dialog box will return but no button print or print menu to display the print dialog box. After you close Firefox and reopen the print dialog box works again for some time. Web sites that use boss and staff during a session are different and appear to be the cause. Firefox settings are at fault because simply restart of Firefox just solves the problem and no other web browsers or application has any problem with the display of the dialog box print at any time. Again, that has started on all computers as soon as 32.0.3 was automatically installed during the night.
Thanks Guigs2,
Our users done restaring Firefox so I couldn't get this info.
Now, it seems that the issue may have been corrected in v33. -
In the settings of Firefox 33.0 (I use Ubuntu 14.04, but the functionality is the same for Windows 7) there are two ways to delete cookies when firefox closes. Or at least, there seems to be.
Is first the cookies keep until firefox is closed
Second is to check the box for clear history of firefox closing and in the settings check cookies.
What is the difference between these two options?
I usually have two configuration but I noticed that a connection was not save for td canada trust EasyWeb, even though I have an exception set for it. Now I unchecked to remove cookies by disabling the history on close and connection records correctly.
This connection allows to save 7 cookes under easyweb.td.com and 10 cookies under td.com and I have exceptions defined for both. If I clear the history when closing and include cookies, half of the td.com cookies disappeared when I close firefox and re - open. The same is true if I'm not the exception.
So currently I can't find a way to keep all cookies if I clear the cookie history when firefox closes. What is the difference with this option?
When you change the default cookie 'to life' of "keep until: they expire" to "keep until the: I close Firefox", Firefox changes all persistent cookies that sites set session cookies. To allow a site to place a persistent cookie, you need to make an exception (site permission).
When you turn on the story to stop compensation and include cookies, running a completely separate process that doesn't doesn't pay attention to the duration of cookie or exceptions (permissions site). There just nukes all.
Note that some cookies could survive if they are encoded in the history file of your session of compensation at the stop, a Firefox uses to restore your tabs and windows from last session. I have not tested.

GIF images play not when I close Firefox and open it again.
If I visit a website (for example http://www.sakisgouzonis.com) all GIF images work fine. But if I close Firefox and open it again (without hovering over the web page), all GIF images stand still. I have to spend on the web page for GIF images start to play.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).
- Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode without failure.

I'm trying to upgrade my software Macromedia Flash and I can't perform the upgrade because the dialog box tells me to close Firefox. I close Firefox and the process keeps telling me that it cannot perform the upgrade until I close Firefox Firefox is closed! Don't know what I can do.
If you have already downloaded Flash Installer, restart your computer, and then try to run the installer of Flash. then try launching firefox and upgrade to Firefox 11. Does it work? Usually problems like this are caused by a bad extension, so if it works, we can diagnose your extensions.

Can't let a Web site when I click the back button, it keeps just returning on the site, have to close Firefox and restart my search.
The website below is just an example, it is a little more.
Is this a problem with Firefox or this particular Web site?
Thank you for your help.I thank very you much for trying to help me.
I think you pointed me in the right direction, I tried on IE (ugh!) and he worked there. It's been awhile that this HARD drive has been in service and I think it's time to do a clean reinstall of everything.
Once again, thank you.

Each page is a zoomed out, and if I Zoom it, it is a normal size for a while, but when I close firefox and open it again, it has zoom out again, I have to zoom each page everytime I open a new page.
How to use Zoom?
The function Zoom of Page Firefox does a level of field by field to save favorite settings level users zoom, there is no default Page Zoom level setting in Firefox. Try these extensions:
-> Default FullZoom Level 4.5
-> NoSquint 2.1.2
Check and tell if its working.

When I have 2 or more tabs open in my browser I want to close Firefox and save the tabs so when I open it again the sites will return. Use to do this, but something needs to happen. begin to close, now it asks me if I want to save sites
If you still want to open the sites that you opened before, in the Options dialog box, go to the general Panel and make sure that the parameter 'When Firefox starts' is set to ' show my windows and tabs from last time '. You will not be asked to save the tabs because they are automatically registered.
If it is set to one, but sites do not open when you start Firefox, open your profile folder and delete sessionstore.js and if there are sessionstore.bak. For more information on how to find your profile folder, see the article of profiles - where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data . Who can help if the file that stores the details of the session is corrupt.
