After the connection is closed, the oracle session remains unavailable

Hi all

using weblogic.jdbc.wrapper.PoolConnection_oracle_jdbc_driver_T4CConnection;

with weblogic server 12 c I can't release the connection to the data source.

Even when the web application made the destroy method,

Oracle sessions are allocated, and every time I reconnect, the number of sessions pushes saturating the connection pool.

What can I do to properly release resources?

Thanks in advance

Marco

That's what I see in oracle:

Select sid, status, server, session v program $;

SID; STATUS; SERVER; PROGRAM

497; INACTIVE; DEDICATED; JDBC Thin Client

537; INACTIVE; DEDICATED; JDBC Thin Client

543; INACTIVE; DEDICATED; JDBC Thin Client

The source is

...

DataSource ds = (DataSource) context.lookup (jndiname);

....

public connection getConnection() throws SQLException {}

Connection con = ds.getConnection ();

return con;

}

Private Sub closeConnection (con Connection) throws SQLException {}

If (con! = null & &! con.isClosed ()) {}

con. Close;

con = null;

}

}

...

Connection con = getConnection().

Statement statement = null;

ResultSet rs = null;

Statement = getStatement (con);

try {}

RS = statement.executeQuery (query.getQuery ());

If (rs! = null) {}

RES = new TASDataWrapper (SR);

}

} catch (SQLException ex) {}

...

} {Finally

If (rs! = null) {}

RS. Close();

}

If (declaration! = null) {}

Statement.Close ();

}

closeConnection (con);

}

....

{} public void destroy()

....

DataSource = null;

}

Well, everything looks good to me. I'm guessing that the Sessions will continue to be there until the Time Out of Session is reached. Can you please adjust the session timeout down and observe the response?

Thank you

  • ADF refresh page with page fragments jsff jsf after the set session variable

    Hello.

    I have a model that includes a button that allows you to select a profile, you push the button appear available profiles, choose one and press to accept. After that, I put a variable session successfully.

    I have a page of 'First' of jsf with two fragments of page jsff after seeing a link. The display link is composed by a headerView and detailView. The headerView had a variable binding. What I need, is that this parameter (bindVariableParameter) can be defined by the session of the model variable.

    That's what I get:

    I am in a homepage (separate Application Module), model button is pushed until I load "first" jsf page and after that, I go to the page jsf 'First', that information is loaded successfully. What I do in the Application Module is something like this:

    protected void prepareSession (one session) {}

    SessionScope card = ADFContext.getCurrent () .getSessionScope ();

    Company string = (String) sessionScope.get ("compId");

    System.out.println ("Default Comapny in British Colombia is:" + company);

    super.prepareSession (session);

    this.getSession () .getUserData () .put ("The company", company);

    System.out.println ("after the definition userData value card BC");

    }

    And in the variable binding expression of the headerView that I use:

    adf.userSession.userData.Company

    It works very well! But!

    When I press the button again and I chose another profile, the info is not updated. In the headerView or in the detailView.

    Also, when I go to the 'First' jsf page (without previously pressing the button model), I had no info, which is just, because I have no session variable. After I have press the model and select the profile, but the page is not refreshed.

    I tried many ways to this, but I'm lost.

    Could you help me?

    Kind regards.

    I'm not sure that understand your use case. What do I get, you set a parameter after that you press a button on the home page to pass this parameter to the first.jsf.

    Why don't you implement a method of the application module and call it directly with the parameter. The session of preparation will not be called whenever you browse but only init am.

    Do you need the parameter in the layer model or only in the display?

    You can join V$ SESSION on the SID. The column PROCESS in V$ SESSION is the ID of the client operating system process.

  • Data selection in UDB where columns were named after the oracle data types

    I have a couple of tables in UDB, I'm trying to reference on a HS db link.

    The first table on the side of the UDB has a column named 'number' (bought the software - not something we did)...

    Selecting this SEO column in this table and more specifically (i.e. Select number, col2, col3 etc) causes the error ORA-00936 (missing expression).

    Select * works...

    The second table also has a column called 'number', so the same problem above applies.  [However, sql errors when I do a select * from ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [HO set: look long], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], []]

    Our dba lean on it, - Oracle HS is new to us, so - I was hoping someone here might have an idea...

    Using oracle 11.2.0.3.0.

    When your DB2 database has column with reserved words in Oracle names, you must create a view of your DB2 side by specifying a different name for this column, and then use DG4ODBC to choose from the scoreboard instead of DB2.

    Another approach which would require an additional programming is to use the DBMS_HS_PASSTHROUGH that allows to make statements that they are to the DB2 database without be analyzed in Oracle.

    As for the ORA-600 error that you get this error is caused when your DB2 table contains certain character inspired columns that exceed the accuracy of the Oracle and are then mapped to the Oracle long data types. Normally in Oracle each table can have a long column. But to be able to select with the gateways of databases foreign this restriction has been slightly improved and more recent Oracle software can choose from the tables that contain more then a long.

    So, could you please be more specific what program you use to select using the gateway fails with ORA-600 and could you please post your description of the table as it is stored in your DB2 database as seen using the gateway in SQL * more: desc (your DB2 table > @)

  • HDMI Audio driver disappears after the RDP session

    I have a desktop PC that I use as a HTPC. It is running xp pro sp3. I have a graphics card Radeon HD5570 I use to connect it to my TV via the HDMI interface. I recently had a car accident and had to rebuild the system disk (re - install windows, drivers, etc.). I also have access to this computer from my office by remote desktop.
    Here's the problem: I'm going to start the machine and the sound will come through the HDMI audio device on the graphics card. Later, I will connect to the machine remotely, and sound come RDP to my work PC. I'll cut and go home, but the HDMI audio device will no longer work until a reboot. HDMI audio is not listed in the menu sound options, but it shows up on Device Manager.

    How can I keep the computer from the oblivion of the HDMI audio device when I connect to RDP?

    If you use the catalyst driver version 12.4, there may be a bug in the driver as described in the following link:

    If so, try a different version.

Lenovo support has been useless. They asked me to run c:\windows\system\restore\rstrui.exe by using the Task Manager, but I get the file not found. When I go to the command prompt by using the Task Manager and check dir listing in the directory of restoration, it shows empty.

    Very frustrated. Can someone please help here on the Microsoft Forum?

    Thank you in advance.

    It seems to me a solution, it worked for me, so hopefully it will work for you as long as you experience the same problem.

    Because you can always go to the sign in screen, do the following:

    Click on the power icon in the lower right to open the menu,

    Hold down the SHIFT key while clicking the button of /restart/ once.

    A screen will appear after a few moments.

    Click and follow the instructions /Refresh/ and let him go during its cycle...

    all fixed!

    I can possibly open a new session

    Firefox takes a little time to close all the files that could be opened while it is running (like 5 seconds), but if the process crashes for as long as 30 seconds or more as you said you can have an add-on or a security program which is at the origin of Firefox takes too long to close completely.

    Firefox crashes when you close

    You need to look in the processes for firefox.exetab. But if you "kill" process, you might lose data. "Session" data are probably the first type of data that could be lost. Also, close Firefox with lots of tabs / windows open or quickly close tabs or windows immediately before closing of Firefox can result in a prolonged downtime.

    Newer versions of oracle have implemented a great new technology to help solve problems, called "error messages."  Unfortunately, I can't find any reference to an error message named 'is no longer able to connect.

    And why you are moving your site from inventory?  When you have installed oracle, he put the inventory where he wanted.  There is no reason to try to change or replace.

    Hi Vinayak,

    If forms work in the local network, then you can exclude problem in Forms Server or Oracle Application as a whole actually.

    The question should be certain access privileges, and you will need to work with the VPN administrator.

    Please note:

    Cannot launch the forms in E-Business when you access via VPN: Formslauncher Notinited (Doc ID 471120.1)

    Hope that answers your question.

    Thank you &

  • Unable to connect to the Oracle Forms cmdlet after 30 Seconds (OATS)

    Hello

    While playback get error of OATS (Oracle Application Testing Suite) am most of the time 'Impossible to connect to the Oracle Forms applet after 30 Seconds (OATS)'.

    Please suggest solution for this type of error. I can't go further with this type of error.

    Kind regards
    Sairam

    Hi Sairam,

    GoTo OpenScript preference and change timeout for reading of the EBS/forms.

    Launch OpenScript, click view and select Preferences OpenScript. Then select Oracle EBS/functional forms under playback. Change timeout value.

    Kind regards
    Dembélé M
