After the upgrade to Windows 8, problem with teredo tunneling adapter says code 10 error and the device cannot start

on my acer travel mate 6292 which I just upgraded to windows 8 pro recently got a problem with teredo tunneling adapter.

It says error code 10 and that the device cannot start, it made me unable to use wifi on my laptop

I tried to reinstall the driver but it just says: windows encountered a problem installing and he says its error code 10

Teredo is a tunneling protocol designed to grant IPv6 connectivity to nodes that are located behind IPv6 NAT (network address translation) not compatible devices. It defines a way of encapsulating IPv6 packets in IPv4 UDP (User Datagram Protocol) datagrams can be routed through NAT devices, on the IPv4 internet.

I wish to inform you that Acer has not released Windows 8 compatible drivers for Acer 6292 travel companion.

I suggest you try to install the drivers for the card wireless in compatibility mode and check if it works. Check out the following link to download and install drivers in compatibility mode.

    netsh interface set terredo disabled state.
    To re - install
    1. Click on start.
    2. Type Device Manager in the start search box, and then open it.
    3. Click the Action tab on top and click Add legacy hardware

    Good, then all convenience stores and sites Web is telling me to re-install my drivers and restart. But the headset still does not work, the Device Manager just says "device cannot start (code 10)". This is after I reinstalled the drivers and rebooted several times.     I had a lot of trouble to stay connected to the internet with my college wireless network on

    my laptop Windows 8. Especially when my computer is endearing to load a large number of data, the connection becomes limited and stops working.     I just installed an iMicro Bluetooth adapter on my computer, and then I wanted to restart my computer. (I don't want to save my hard drive and reinstall, because I paid more than 250 applications and more than 270 free programs on my computer! Of more, more than 350 iPad apps, of which a few are paid! Oh and 700 iBooks!)

  • TEREDO TUNNELING ADAPTER DRIVER PROBLEM

    I RECENTLY HAD A PROBLEM WITH PRINTING AND DISCOVERED THAT MY TEREDO TUNNELING ADAPTER HAD A YELLOW ERROR SIGN BY IT. I GOGGLED THE PROBLEM AND REMOVED THE DRIVER AND RE-INSTALLED. THERE IS SAME PROBLEM. NOW I HAVE ADDITIONAL PROBLEMS. WHEN I STOPPED, MY COMPUTER SHOULD APPLY THE UPDATE OF OPERATIONS 50218 0F 50218 AFTER ALL THIS UPDATES AND IT SHOULD PREPARE TO SET UP WINDOWS.

    HE NEVER DID THAT BEFORE. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO AND I'M AFRAID I'LL MAKE MATTERS WORSE TO TRY THIS AND TRY THAT. I NEED ADVICE SO SURE? DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT I NEED TO DO?

    Please keep us updated on the status of the issue.

    We are troubleshooting problem Launch Manager.

    I did some research on this issue and found that, if the device driver is updated in an appropriate manner, and then Launch Manager may stop working correctly.

    So I would say as a work around update you all the device in Device Manager driver and check if it helps.

    Very well. I reinstalled it, and so far it worked for 2 days and a half. So, I hope that it continues to work. If it isn't, then I will do what you suggested.
