  Make sure you create your media recovery HP or USB Flash Recovery discs before you edit or change anything.

  Your computer does not have Microsoft's Downgrade rights and you must buy a copy of Windows 7 with a valid Microsoft COA and product key.

  The screenshots below is from a laptop HP 15 t-j100... options and the configuration on your computer screens may differ.

  You will need to DISABLE "Secure Boot" and ENABLE "Legacy Support" in the "Configuration of the BIOS start-up secure" on the settings page similar to what is shown below, until you try to install Windows 7.

  

  After you save the changes, the computer will ask you to confirm the changes... Accept the changes by typing the four digit code and press the ENTER"" key.

  

  If you install Windows 7 from a USB and see a message of "load a driver - a required CD/DVD drive device is missing", it's because as 'System Configuration' > 'Config USB3.0 in pre-start' is set to 'Enabled '. This should be set to 'Auto '.

  

  In addition, as the factory hard drive is partitioned as TPG, you must start using the internal CD/DVD UEFI or UEFI-Key/key USB to install Windows on a GPT-partitioned disk.   I suggest using Windows 7 SP1 for the best installation experience. I like Rufus, because it contains options for 'Plan of GPT partition for UEFI computer' and 'FAT32'.

  You can try to remove a registry key located at the:

  Windows Installer won't install Corel Draw X 3 patch for Corel SP1 and SP2.  Corel X 3 was released at the end of the 1980s, well before updates from Microsofts SP.

  These files are patches for the X 3 program and have nothing to do with Microsoft SP 1, 2 and 3.

  The error that gives the installer of windows, is that the patch cannot be installed by the installer, because the program is missing (which is not the case) or the upgrade patch may update a different version of the program, (which he did... this fix is designed especially for the X 3 only and is in fact the upgrade for him.)

  If you use the version of Corel Draw X 3 13.0.0.739, there already = sp1 and sp2 patches and pre-installed horfix.

  • Launch it
  • Select the ISO Image
  • Point to the file ISO for Windows 10
  • Check create a disk bootable using
  • Select GPT partitioning to EUFI firmware as the Partition scheme
  • Choose FAT32 NOT NTFS as file system
  • Make sure that your USB in the device list
  • Click Start
  • Close when you are finished

  It will be interesting to know what version you are trying to install. Perhaps, you try to install the version for another model of Satellite.   Envy of HP dv7 laptop with windows 7 service pack 1, 64-bite.

  The printer is HP Officejet 6700.  The printer works fine, but there is an error on the portable device.  When I troubleshoot it, it says that the driver is not available.

  Went to properties, manager, open properties on the device and I get the message in the above title line.  Troubleshoot it, and States he found the driver but can not install it because it is not assigned numerically.

  Entered the following command at the command prompt:

  Tried to install the printer.  He would not have installed.

  Changed the above command to OFF.

  Tried to install the printer.  He would not have installed.  Perhaps you are unable to install a printer in safe mode?  I do not know.

  Restarted the laptop.  Install the printer and the error disappeared.
