  I know this is an old post, but I found the solution to your problem.
  I had the same problem but with adblock plus (extension of masking element).

  It uses the same combination of keys ctrl, shift + k and when was rush to the web developer of this combination has opened...

  To DISABLE this shortcut, you must OPEN the console of the web developer and click on the gear which is located in the left side.
  Then, UNCHECK the box that says Console and press the X on the far right close the console.

  Disable your Add on and turn it on again and you'll be fine.
  (or restart Firefox)

  In my case it worked well and instead of "null" in the key of the element AdBlockPlus combination hide now, he says the corresponding key and no longer opens the "web developer console.

  All - I have two guests (w2K3) that give me the following error when I click on open the Console in the CR:

  + Connection error: unable to connect to the host xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx: has

  connection attempt failed because the connected party does not correctly

  answer after a period of time, or established connection failed

  because the connected host has failed to respond.

  Once this error occurs my VC session is locked and I have to close my VIC (end task) session.  Any attempt to open the Console on any another guest in this cluster causing the same problem.  Only solution it restart my server VC. The cluster in question is ESX 3.5 U3.  My CV is 2.5 U3.

  I downloaded another device on the Vmware site (Ipcop), the something happens, it starts fine, but when I click, no console opens.

  We use forms 11 GR 2 with Weblogic Server 10.3.6 with Database 11 GR 2.

  I am able to open two type of console successfully;

  1 oracle Enterprise Manager Database Control.     (for the database of monitoring)

  2 oracle Weblogic Server Administrator Console.   (for Weblogic Server monitoring)

  But I do not know how to open the console to forms (such as Oracle Enterprise Manager 11 g Fusion Middleware Control), for the monitoring/control activities forms/States, such as what user using what forms, killing shape etc user sessions.

  Please guide how to start console for forms/States.

  When I try to use a vSphere client that runs through Onyx "Open Console", the console window opens but then it seems to hang.

  The guest screen never appears in the console window.

  HM, I can't help you find the password for the Console. You may need to uninstall and re-install another version.

  To change the boot order set in the bios if you are not able to do it under Windows. Seems logical, or? ;)

  Hi guys, I have first pick in forums and countless other sites including instances of Bethesda Softworks.
  You have 2 similar cases with the console of the game Fallout 3.
  However, I turned to Microsoft for answers, because I found the problem: just need a specific solution.

  Information on my computer:

  Dell Studio XPS 1340 (laptop)
  Windows Vista Ultimate updated to service pack 2 (64-bit)

  To only justify some obvious things:
  -Yes my computer meets and exceeds the requirements of the game.
  -Yes the ~ button works in other programs.
  -Yes, I tried Shift + ' do ~ in the game (does not work)
  -Yes, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game
  -Not my computer did not come with a remote
  -J' entered in the menu options (in the game) and changed another command for example like button next with ~ to see if the game was recognized and it didn't.

  There are a few bugs that can be made initially to counter the problem with the console.

  • Change the size of the screen so that you can see the "missing" console (where infact it was just out of sight)
  • Set up the document Oblivion.ini - bAllowConsole = 1 (corrected most of the problems where it was set to 0)
  • Download a mod to change the game and use it to activate the console in a different way (in this case using equipping an item)
  • If you have Microsoft Media Center, then; Disable the MIRC / Microsoft transceiver eHome infrared (or (EC) ITECIR infrared receiver), or inside of the appliance to manage

  My specific problem I have identified is that my laptop has a built-in infrared censor (and has the installed Microsoft Media Center), this has been identified on many forums as contradictory with the game console button (~). According to most of the solutions that have been validated by disabling it should fix it.

  I found the Microsoft eHome infrared transceiver AND IR receiver ITECIR (EC) in my device manager under human interface devices.
  But I can not disable - the option is greyed out =)
  (And Yes, I'm the administrator of this computer [the only account as well])

  So to make a very long explanation to a question.
  How can I disable the infrared in my device manager hardware when I am the administrator, but it is grayed out?

  I was searching Google earlier, I have the same problem. Sometimes I play a game called "Farcry" and in order to show the console (for once coming from servers if they are tks, spwnkillers, cheaters, etc, and of course the order entry), I have to set up the "key (located under my ESC key). Until today, I have to keep uninstalling 'infrared transceiver Ehome' whenever I start my computer laptop, or sometimes just when I connect a mouse or something.
  Fortunately, I found a solution on Google :) (The below is copied from another forum):

  (* Note that if you have Microsoft Ehome... you click right on this and uninstall for number of step 3).

  (5) turn the SSDP Discovery:
  -Follow the signs to start and select 'Manual' from the drop-down menu (Startup Type)-> Apply-> OK

• SBS2008: WSUS 3 update sp2 - now Can t Open SBS Console, MMC, etc.!

  The WSUS 3 sp2 update installed end of the year and now I can't access the SBS console (Windows SBS 2008 Console has stopped working), Server Manager (MMC has stopped working), etc. I guess 4 hotfix rollup resolves this problem, but which will not install it, so I'm stuck.

  I installed as many updates as I can in the hope that this solves the problem but always Rollup 4 will not install (error details: code 6ba).

  2 errors in the event log:

• Failed to open the Console, EM or analytical after Java Update

  I'm not able to open all applications under OBIEE probably after an update of Java that happened 2 days ago.

  The latest version of Java is version 6. update 33

  I tried to restart the services and login pages come once analytical and EM but once I get my ID that the page just trying to load for a long time and then I get an error message saying "the connection has expired.

• Cannot open remote console

  I installed vmware server 2.0.0 on slackware 12.2. I installed on this machine running a previous installation of slackware. I upgraded from my hard drive.

  The Infrastructure of VMW shows a guest installation and running computer. If I leave the CD-ROM in the drive and powercycle win32XP, the disc turns and sounds like it starts installation.

  However, I am unable to launch the console remotely. I removed all instances of the plugin VMware ~/.mozilla / *, including the removal of traces of cache and ini files. I am able to reinstall the plugin without errors. I am able to connect to http://localhost:8222 with no difficulty, although: 8333 puts me in a situation where he wants me to accept the cert again and again, but this seems to be a common problem.

  When I try to run the RC, I see my CPU doesn't spike for about 15-20 seconds before coming to idle, otherwise no changes on the host.

  I don't think you have loop back to installation on the host as your still use the 127.0.0.1 to connect to the interface of the virtual machine.
