Air - PlayBook SDK version

What is the latest version of the Air SDK that the functioning of the PlayBook?

See you soon!

Do you mean the "Tablet OS AIR SDK" of BlackBerry with BB UI, APIs and tools? It is https://developer.blackberry.com/air/download/#playbook 2.1

The runtime on 10.0/10.1 PlayBook and BB10 AIR is 3.1. To compile for this run time, you can use:

You can usually use a new version of SDK software (e.g., Flash Builder 4.7) as long as you:

  • Add - swf-version 14 to the compiler command line
  • and set the version of the AIR in your manifest XML file 3.1
  • and do not use any AIR 3.2 + API.

BB10 10.2 AIR runtime has been upgraded to 3.5. The corresponding SDK BlackBerry is 3.2.0.

Are there tutorials available to implement simple functionality of a Playbook app such as a display of list of pages, navigate between views, etc. or tabbed panes.

These things are not exactly 'simple' in the native of PlayBook SDK because there no stunts. It would be easier to build a Webworks or AIR application. Native development kit was really targeted in the games and the ports at this time.

  • AIR 4 SDK and asdoc

Lose myself just too much time to understand how the hell to get the AIR 4 sdk asdoc to work.

The lack of documentation, the instructions from Adobe becomes overwhelming. It is just unbelivable how a company can release a product without any documentation or such.

Even if there are solutions, example and others, they are still distributed on some blogs... but in this case, as everyone is does not have an information hostage.

Yes, now my freggin question, how to configure the ASDOC on mac in Flash builder!

first when you point external tool on asdoc, im getting the error:

    use: path dirname

    use: path dirname

    Error: Cannot access c /... /lib/Legacy/ASDoc.jar

Then I change the patch in the file asdoc an absolute... and im getting:

    use: path dirname

    use: path dirname

Error: This Java instance does not support a 32-bit JAVA virtual machine.

Please install the version you want.

Seriously, the 32-bit on mac, what type of defect is who? ARGHHHH

can I change the version you want, 64 and now this...

    use: path dirname

    use: path dirname

    Adobe ASDoc

    The 4.6.0 version build 23201

Copyright (c) 2004-2011 Adobe Systems, Inc. ensamr Med? TT.

    defaults: error: can't open ' /... /frameworks/Flex-config.Xml.

It's all simply amazing. Why can't there be some decent instructions provided by the supplier which explains what it takes.

So I found a solution that works for now, yet there should be instructions available officially from Adobe, instead of letting developers to spend hours, days or what ever to find solutions...

I suppose there may be a better solution, but I did what I could from my little experience with files, executables and flash builder...

in the asdoc file I put comment out the scripthome and added the static variable instead, the changes are underlined:

    SCRIPT_HOME = "/ Applications/Adobe Flash Builder 4.7/eclipse/plugins/com.adobe.flash.compiler_4.7.0.349722/AIRSDK/bin/.

    If ["x$ {FALCON_HOME}" = "x"]

    then

    #SCRIPT_HOME = ' dirname $0'.

    FALCON_HOME = ${SCRIPT_HOME} /...

    on the other

echo base code using Falcon: $FALCON_HOME

    FI

    If ["x$ {FLEX_HOME}" = "x"]

    then

    #SCRIPT_HOME = ' dirname $0'.

    FLEX_HOME = ${SCRIPT_HOME} /...

    on the other

    echo using Flex SDK: $FLEX_HOME

    FI

That solved the issue of flex - config.Xml.

Then, when I ran again the external tool, I got error about not finding local sv_SE.

so in regional frameworks/AIRSDK/settings , I had no sv_SE, solution that worked was to make a copy of the file en_US and rename sv_SE.

And since im trying asdoc AIR, ext tool should have of cource external libs added both in the arguments field:

    -external-library-path = "/ Applications/Adobe Flash Builder 4.7/eclipse/plugins/com.adobe.flash.compiler_4.7.0.349722/AIRSDK/frameworks/libs/air/airg lobal.swc.

Hope that this help others in some way.

  • Beginner: which SDK is this Java code using and where can I download "VI SDK version 2.5.0.

Hi to all, I inherited a Java-based project that uses a VMWare API.  I'm still trying to wrap my head around it.  I hope someone can help! It seems that my Java application communicates with servers in VMWare using a CONTAINER called: vim25.jar far as I know, it would mean that I use the SDK "VMware Infrastructure (VI) SDK version 2.5.0" described here: https://www.vmware.com/support/developer/vc-sdk/visdk25pubs/SDK-README.html#resources can anyone confirm that it is correct?  And if yes, where can I download SDK and all associates are examples of files?  I can't see that listed on the download page here: https://my.vmware.com/group/vmware/downloads any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you, Rob

The Web Client SDK kit which is covered in this forum is for the creation of plugins for vSphere Web Client, i.e. extensions of the user interface to display your own solution or extend the views and menus of vSphere objects in the Web Client. The current version is 5.5.1.  The vim25.jar is no not part of this SDK (even if it is used in some of the samples), it's to call the vSphere APIs of java in your Web Client plugin layer.  For any question on the vSphere API of Services Web see the forum separate vSphere management SDK

  • Anyone know where I can lay my hands on Connect Collaboration Builder SDK version 7?

I have a piece of old content Flash which works fine when I hang out in a pod, but each student runs their own instance of the swf file. I would like to be able to synchronize certain actions so that changes to the screen of a student shows all over the world. That tells me that my developer needs "Collaboration Builder SDK". Two things, though. The current version of the SDK is written for Flex, Flash, and not my developer only works in Flash. In addition, the code in the SWF's Actionscript 2, which is what the Collaboration Builder SDK version 7 (I am told) is written for. So, are you able to provide a link (Adobe support) / share a copy (forums) (the SDK is free) Collaboration Builder SDK version 7, so I can improve the swf I use now, without needing to have it rewritten from the ground upwards? I realize that it's 2 'old' people and that it will not be supported now, so if what I'm doing doesn't work, I be moaning on this subject! Thank you, David

Your best bet is to reach out using Adobe and see if they have laying around and can brush the cobbwebs to share with you. Acrobat Connect Pro help | Acrobat Connect Pro Support

If I remember correctly, the SDK has always been for Flex, so the SDK for Connect 7 and older might require an older version of Flex (2.5?).

    Hi javafueled,

I also had this problem and just discovered that if I remove the "jre" hack was necessary to install the server, then my scripts begin to work.

(i.e. reverse the jre actions described here: http://samuraism.jp/blog/2008/09/20/running_weblogic_server_10g_release_3_on_a_mac.html)

    Hope this helps,

  • IPad retina always requires specifying the iOS SDK version in ADT AIR 3.7?

According to this page, you must specify iOS SDK 5.1 in the ADT command line when you want to take in charge the retina screens:

    http://www.richardlord.net/blog/using-the-iPad-retina-display-with-Adobe-Air

Is it always true for AIR 3.7 or is it now defaults to iOS SDK 5.1 and works for the screens of the retina without additional indication in the ADT?

    Thank you!

You need to use SDK 5.1 or a later version. AIR uses 6.0 or 6.1 now, so the retina is ok without any special tricks.

  • QNX AIR QAnywhere offline version

    Hello

I couldn't find an offline version of AIR QAnywhere with the SDK of the Playbook. Only the online version is available at http://www.blackberry.com/developers/docs/airapi/1.0.0/

It would be great if the SDK could also include all the reference the API offline or maybe a separate download with the SDK. It will be much easier for developers to quickly of IPY research papers.

I advise to use Eclipse DocBrowser tool. It is cross-platform and a bundle of nice stand-alone. Nokia uses as well for their API documentation offline.

    Best regards

    chall3ng3r / /.

    Hey chall3ng3r,.

Noted by RIM before they released the SDK because it is updated frequently and they do not want us to use old material so its best sound online in the following thread:

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/Tablet-OS-SDK-for-Adobe-Air/generating-as-docs-for-Beta-3-SDK...

He also said that they are open to suggestions that developers have with regard to the ASDocs. Note You can also download the QNX Docs yourself if you use a method described by studiochris in this post:

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/Tablet-OS-SDK-for-Adobe-Air/generating-as-docs-for-Beta-3-SDK...

    hope that helps. Good luck!

  • Is SDK 3.2 AIR AIR actually SDK 3.1 (or earlier)?

I have noticed this problem in another thread, but thought it might help some people if there was a thread with specific title as shown.

I downloaded the AIR SDK 3.2 since the link to the final version and all breast file dates are earlier than the files in the pre-release version: air3 - 2_p6_sdk_mac_022712.tbz2.

Given the messy trying to merge records in the Mac Finder I'll hold off installing v 3.2 until I'm sure it's the correct version.

Is corrected now. Thank you Adobe.

  • BB10 existing app PlayBook release version number

Are there requirements / conventions / best practices for the version number of an application brought on a new platform?

My existing PlayBook application went through several updates and now is 1.1.2. BB10 new version contains some new features (specific BB10), so in that regard, it should be more, but at the same time, this is the first ever BB10 version with a new set of potential bugs (well, I hope not - but because it has not yet been tested on a complete system of BB10, I guess that things could go wrong) , so in that respect, it's more than a 1.0 version...

Any thoughts? Is it important for the supplier portal? (perhaps he will not yet you provide a version number below for the same inclination...?)

    Thank you

    Anna

My app: Get set - get up!   Get ready for the revolution snooze.

The version number is important only for your records and to show the public that his new. I wouldn't worry about this at all.
