AirPrint not working not

I found that my HP D110A will often accept no new print jobs. This happens both of my devices iOS and Google Print (which connects to ePrint). It seems that the printer enters a suspended state. When I try to print from AirPrint, I can see the printer and the print job. But the printer prints ever. The best solution I found is to power cycle the printer. After that, the work of fine printing (AirPrint and ePrint). I connected the printer to a timer that cycles the power automatically twice a day, but it seems that even leave without nothing to print for a few hours (it was about 6 hours this morning), he gets lost again. I had to update the firmware, but the console reports that it runs later - TUL1FN1044AR patch 0. Other suggestions are welcome. For others reading this, I found two useful items that I'll share here. First of all, Google Print allows you to easily map to the HP ePrint service. So you can print to your printer from anywhere within Google Docs. You can also share this Google Print printer with others (like people in your home), then they can print to it as well. He manages the queue of print and all, for free. The second point is that the web interface of the printer will allow you to rename the name he uses as a network device and the printer name appears as (for example in the mailing list). This can be particularly useful if you have more than one such printer.

Have you noticed problems with network printing from your desktop when this happens for iOS devices?  I would like to determine whether it is a local or internet connectivity problem.  I find your router has a problem of multicast (this will affect printing from iOS), but Linksys has addressed, as well as a few other things, in an update of the firmware (v1.0.02-B11).

Here is the link: http://homesupport.cisco.com/en-us/support/routers/WRT400N

If you are having trouble with ePrint as well, it is probably more a problem.  Let's start with the updated firmware for the router, since it does not cover a large number of corrections.  Keep me updated please.

  • OfficeJet 6700 airprint "airprinter not found".

    Hello

I bought a HP officejet 6700 which is adapted to Airprint. I connected the printer wireless to my laptop, which works very well. But when I want to print with my Ipad or Iphone 5, it does not find the printer. So I restarted the router, printer, apple devices. All software are up to date. But it still does not work

I read on a forum that I have to turn off the printer when its on to connect the electric cable. So I did, I turned on it again and my apple machines could print! But when I restart my printer in the normal way (with the power button) the old problem is back. Printer not found air. When I plug out the electricable while the printer is turned on it will reboot, so I can print with my iphone. But I would like to simply print the printer with airprint by turing on, to not restart everything first.

    Can someone help me?

    Thank you in advance.

  • AirPrint not seeing HP wireless printers

After the upgrade to iOS 9.x would not print my iPad and iPhone on the network home.  I uninstalled printers one re-installed. I rebooted the router and printers. Always Airprint could not locate the HP printers. Help appreciated

    Hello GT - LR.

I understand that you are no longer able to print your wireless printers are connected to your home network. The steps below can help to restore your ability to print successfully from your iOS devices involved printers.

Check these things if you are unable to print, or if you see the message "No AirPrint Printers Found."

    • On your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, check that your device uses the latest available IOS and the app that you print from is up to date.
    • On your Mac, use software update to update the Mac operating system and the applications that you have purchased from the Mac App Store.
    • Check with the manufacturer of your printer to see if the firmware updates are available for your printer model.
    • You can connect an AirPrint device to your network, either by bypass surgery or a direct connection to your Wi - Fi network.
    • AirPrint devices connected to the USB port on the Apple AirPort base station or Time Capsule AirPort use AirPrint. If your printer includes AirPrint, connect it directly to your Wi - Fi network or Ethernet LAN port on your Base Station to print wireless.
    • After turning on your printer, wait a few moments before trying to print. Some printers may take a minute or two after power to join your network.

  • AirPrint stopped working after software update

I installed the new software update for Photosmart more e-all-in a single model B210a (firmware TAL1FN1207AR) yesterday and now my ios devices will not print.  I can see the printer, can send the print job, but it never arrives at the printer. In the print to the ios Device Center, it shows the status of 'printing', but it never changes and no printing output occurs. The printer works well for network computers.  I tried the printer off and restarting, but which made no change.  Ios devices are running ios 5.1.1.  This was not a problem until I installed the new HP software on the printer.  My rounter is a LInksys WRT54G.  Can someone help me with this issue?  Thank you.

    Hi jsw404,

Have you tried to reboot the router? If not, I would take as follows: power off your device, the printer and the router. The router upload first, giving him 30-45 seconds to start. Then turn on your printer, and then on your mobile device. See if that solves your problem.

  • Impossible to get Airprint to work

    Hello

I just bought a Deskjet 3050. J611a printer I've implemented without any problem on my computer.

However, when I try to use my iPhone or iPad to print (both running iOS 5.0.1), they say no Airprint printer. I tried to restart my printer, and I guess they're on the same network, that there are no other wireless network in the House.

    What did I miss?

    Thank you

Well, you can change your encryption from WEP to WPA if it's currently the WEP.  Also, you can change the channel on the router to 11.

  • Apple AirPrint works Linksys E1000 - does not RV-220W

As said subject line - have a linksys E1000 unit which the AirPrint service works anywhere wireless iPhone - iPad and Mac Books, when printing on an Epson Workforce 545 wireless printer. States of firmware to be updated on the Epson.

Recently replaced the E1000 with a unit of RV-220w and get "no printer found" on iphones - ipads. Work on MacBook Air unit.

Hello discovery service is enabled on the RV220w - active feature WMM on the SSID (by article I read) - IGMP enabled by another article I read, still does not.

Have re-installed the E1000 as temporary until I can find a solution on this issue. If someone has any suggestions, would be appreciated. Very little info, go the route of google search. TIA

    halmillett,

Go to the Wireless-> basic settings. Check if "Wireless Isolation in SSID" is enabled. If so, disable it and try to print wireless. If this does not work, try to connect the printer to the router with an ethernet cable temporarily and a test. I use a RV220W at home with a Brother wireless printer and it works perfectly since all devices Wi-wired and wireless.

Everything is on the same VLAN?

    Just reply with the results.

  • HP 2549: HP 2549 and Mac OS x: double-sided printing does not work

    Hello!

I just installed this printer on my Macbook Air and I cannot print double-sided. I tried by USB / wireless (in the case where there is a difference between the two) but no luck.

I followed the advice in this post: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-All-in-One-Install-Setup/two-sided-printing-no-longer-availble-...

but I did not tab "driver". I only have "Général", "Levels of power" and "utility." I tried to delete the printer and then add it with HP 2359 and AirPrint not but that does not change.

When I print a pdf document, double-sided printed is greyed out and I cannot change.

What should I do? I already reinstalled the drivers on the HP Web site, I selected all the things that I can install it, but that has not changed anything.

    Thank you.

    Hi @blablaalf,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I see that two-sided printing does not work with your printer HP 2549 on Mac OS X 10.10. I'm happy to help with this problem!

I assume that your printer is a HP Deskjet 2549, otherwise please reply with the exact type of printer you have. To find product/model number of your printer follow the instructions in this link. Find your model number of the HP product.

Otherwise, if the type of printer you have. According to this guide, print on both sides of the paper (duplex printing). He said: this printer is not an automatic duplex unit integrated, you can always print on both sides of the page to manually reload paper in the paper after printing tray first to print on both sides of the paper.

This is the reason why this option is grayed out.

If you print on letterhead, pre-printed paper or paper with watermarks and pre-drilled holes, the printer prints first the front of the document. Load the paper with the top edge first and the side to be printed facing downwards.
  • DeskJet 3510 not found when she and my PC are connected wireless

    Hello again,

When my Windows-8 HP Slimline Pavillion is connected to an Ethernet port on my router wired, the installer for my 3510 (already well running wireless - is no longer cable) can perfectly find.  A my scan application and printer home page on the work of PC (display of ink, etc.) fine, as does impression on her.

The 3510 has a fixed IP address in my router (see my other post on airprint not working do not).

My HP machine, if you unplug the Ethernet cable, everything is configured to connect wireless to my router (which she does very well and gets me internet access, etc.).  It ias 1 set (static) IP address in place in my Cisco/Linksys router to the wired connection and a second (static) for wireless connection - because the HP machine has different addresses for Wi - Fi and wireless.

My problem is when BOTH my PC and the 3510 are wireless, printer configuration 3510 CANNOT find the printer 3510 is clearly there and running.  The applet or task of scanning bar shows "plugged in."  He said that the tests are not available.

In summary, everything works when my PC is wired and the 3510 is wireless, bit does not work when both PC and the printer are wireless.

    Ideas?

    Thank you

    Norm Farrington

Router changes are documented in my other post. See 3510 tags and airprint to find.

  • IPAD detects only not HP6500 wireless printer

I used to be able to print with my IPAD on the HP 6500 wireless. Printer works and shows wireless is enabled.

The router looks like a good router and the printer definitely supports Airprint.

Because it worked before, we will try to rebuild the network connection between the iPad and the printer.

    1. turn off the power to the printer.

    2. completely turn off the iPad.

    3. turn off the power to the router for 1 minute.

4 reconnect power to the router and wait for the lights to return to normal.

5 turn the printer power on and wait for it to power on completely and connect to the network.

    6. power on the iPad.

    7. try printing again.

While steps have been tried in a different order, this process works in most cases where Airprint was working and now it isn't.

  • AirPrint works more on Photosmart 7510

Since December, I have the 7510.  When I implemented AirPrint worked as a champion of the iPhone 4 and iPad 2.  Sometimes had to reset the connection on the devices, but otherwise, I loved.  Then all of a sudden it no longer works.  The printer works fine both PC Wifi.

    I'm on the same network

I have reset the modem several times

I have reset the printer again

I made sure that airprint is enabled on the printer

I reconnected the printer to the network several times

    The printer firmware is up-to-date

I got the wifi on the the value 11 router channel

When I run the HP printer on devices control application it shows the available printer but don't enter the IP address as it was and when I try to print it shows no airprinters found.

I scanned these forums and tried everything.  But cannot print from iPhone or iPad any longer.

    Help!

Got a solution that worked for me!  (with the help of Apple technical support).

    (1) stopped and restarted the wireless router.

    2) went into iPhone settings/general/reset (near bottom of page)

    (3) reset the network settings (click)

    (4) wait to return iPhone

    5) entered iPhone settings/WiFi

    (6) registered in router

It worked after that - my AirPrint has worked, just as it did before.

Why didn't Apple just say that in the first place?

  • Connect a printer non-airprint for the Airport express

Can I use an express train from the airport as a stand-alone wireless network to allow printing from an IOS device.  I want to connect an AirPrint not printer to the usb port on the Express with no ethernet cable is connected and so no internet and use it as a printer from an IPhone?

    My main questions are

    1. a no AirPrint printer allows printing from IOS using the Airport Express Terminal

    2. If so, the Airport express can not be connected to the internet?

    Thanks in advance.

    1. a no AirPrint printer allows printing from IOS using the Airport Express Terminal

Actually, no. Connect a non-AirPrint printer to the USB port on the base station will NOT make it capable AirPrint. In order to print from a device iOS on this printer, you need to a third party (such as the Printopia) application running on a Mac.

    2. If so, the Airport express can not be connected to the internet?

Function of the Express print server does not have Internet access at work. In other words, you can have the Express create a local wireless network, connect a USB printer and share the printer on the LAN. However, yet again, if the printer is capable non-AirPrint, iOS devices will not be able to print directly to it.

  • The new Airprint

I have a Photosmart C7280. Anyone know how I can get Apple Airprint for work with my C7280?

It will not.  You need a new printer compatible e-print.  The oldest one was introduced in April 2010.

AirPrint is not working since 9.3.1 what airprint update - not found.  tried the suggestion of JimHdk, who worked for a single document. any suggestions

Since we do not know what may have suggested to Jim, power cycle your router and the printer and force restart the iPad. Unplug the router and the printer power for 30 seconds. Plug in the router first and let it restart. And then reconnect the printer power supply. Then force restart the iPad. To force the reboot your device, press and hold the two buttons of sleep/wake and home for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.
