    I'm new using cfproperty and autosuggest.  I followed the example given in the help of Adobe Adobe ColdFusion 9 * Ajax UI components and features using

    1. I created a Suggestcfc.cfc in a subdirectory called "components".

    The Suggestcfc.cfc is:

    < cfproperty output = "false" >

    < name cffunction = "getProduct" access = "remote" returntype = "table" output = "false" >

    < cfargument name = "suggestvalue" required = "true" >

    < cfset var MonTableau = ArrayNew (1) >

    < / cfform >

    < / body >

    So when I run the test.cfm he showed only a box, and when I started to type, nothing is currently available (recovery in the products table).  What I'm doing wrong here?  Any help is appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

    jackhuang,

    If you are a new user, I suggest you do not go down to the and the path.  It's heavy risk and peril!  All ColdFusion UI stuff (including and ) are built on the obsolete javascript libraries and don't implement all features of these libraries.

    Rather, I suggest that you learn a JavaScript library like jQuery community supported.  It provides fantastic AJAX support and has all the features the UI you need, either as part of the main library, the related jQuery UI library or the myriad of plug-ins free, written by the 3 parties.  There are other libraries that offer similar features too: ExtJS (CF UI stuff is mainly based on a very old version of ExtJS), Dojo and many others.

    Many experienced developers left consciously using the built-in features of ColdFusion UI because of functional limitations and compatibility issues.  Thus, you'll be much less likely to get the help with the problems that you experience using these features.  On the other hand, the community supported JavaScript libraries have a huge userbase (both inside and outside the community of ColdFusion), and without a doubt, you will be able to get help with problems you may encounter.

    All this said, after reviewing the documentation, it seems that you need to change

    TO

    or, possibly,.

    Good luck

  • Firefox an abortion any AJAX request when you press ESC

    Why firefox an abortion any AJAX request when you press the ESC key?

    I don't see any value in a feature like that. As a matter of fact, no other browser to do this.

    Hello Fabio.

    First of all, and although that perhaps not related to your problem, I would remind you that the version of Firefox you use right now since been abandoned and are no longer supported. In addition, it has known bugs and security problems. I invite you to upgrade to the latest version of Firefox, for maximum stability, performance, security and ease of use. You can get it for free, as always, to www.getfirefox.com.

    As for your question, if you are absolutely sure that this problem is not an add-on you have installed and has not been changed in the latest versions, you should file a bug at bugzilla.mozilla.org to request this behavior to change.

  • WebService WCF call jQuery ajax

    Using jquery ajax I try to call the WCF Web service and I get the answer in IE but not in FF and Chrome.

    At the end of the service account that we have configured peace belov of the code

    The WCF Service Web.config

    My client Code:

           Call the Web Service from jQuery

    Calling Web Services with jQuery/AJAX

    I think I have it hunted. Given your current code, you specify:

    contentType: "application/json, charset = utf - 8"

    When the network is requested, we can see the following in Chrome Web Inspector (only including major lines):

    Request URL:http://sampleservice.azurewebsites.net/Service1.svc/GetData
    Request Method:OPTIONS
    Status Code:405 Method Not Allowed

    Request Headers
    Access-Control-Request-Method:GET

    Response Headers
    Access-Control-Allow-Methods:GET, POST
    Allow:GET

    So even though we are specifying a GET in the AJAX request, the request method (for some reason I'm not sure) is failing to OPTIONS, which is not a method allowed by the side server. Based on this KB here this seems to be related to MIME types:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/216493

    So, I advanced and ran a test to make a change to contentType as follows:

    contentType: "text/plain charset = utf-8"

    With that, I saw the success of Chrome, and as in comparison to the network demand, we can see:

    Request URL:http://sampleservice.azurewebsites.net/Service1.svc/GetData
    Request Method:GET
    Status Code:200 OK

    Request Headers
    Accept:application/json, text/javascript, */*; q=0.01

    Response Headers
    Access-Control-Allow-Methods:GET, POST

    This time:

    • Access-Control - request method was not present in the request headers.
    • Allow: GET was not present in the response headers.

    However, our method of application is duly appearing as GET.

    What I think that it comes, it's a configuration server as to how certain MIME types are treated; However, I don't have the expertise to guide you on the application/json MIME type configuration to achieve the same success.

    That being said, with the type MIME text/plain , the success has been called and console.log (result) gave:

    MMAD APPS India Pvt. Ltd.

    For reference, my final index.html is as follows.

            Calling Web Service from jQuery

    Calling Web Services with jQuery/AJAX

    Would you be able to it give it a try in your browser and confirm the output of each Web Inspector tool?

  • Support HTML5 history component BrowserField?

    Hi all

    I use BrowserField component to display external views in my HTML application using AJAX technology in navigation. I've implemented HTML5 history (http://www.w3.org/TR/html5/history.html) in order to manage requests for return. I know that the BlackBerry native browser supports HTML5 history because my back implementation works fine when I use the native browser directly to test my Web site.

    In my BlackBerry app I implement the "back" button to call browserField.back () like this:

    protected boolean keyCharUnhandled(char key, int status, int time) {
            switch (key) {
            case Characters.ESCAPE:
                field.back();
                return true;
            }
            return super.keyCharUnhandled(key, status, time);
        }

    This rear implementation does not work.

    I assumed that field.back () is not compatible with HTML5 history because the BrowserFieldHistory component only stores the queries of navigation and not AJAX queries (is that a request for the resource recovers in the background).

    Is there a solution to implement AJAX applications back to BrowserField?

    Thank you!

    The solution is:

    protected boolean keyCharUnhandled(char key, int status, int time) {
            switch (key) {
            case Characters.ESCAPE:
                field.executeScript("window.history.back()");
                return true;
            }
            return super.keyCharUnhandled(key, status, time);
        }

  • Y at - there no replacement for f: ajax tag in adf

    I need to call a method of bean to support my page onblur event I have found that this solution

    < af:inputText id = "randomId" label = "2" autoSubmit = "true" >

    < af:clientListener method = "onBlurTxtField" type = "fuzzy" / >

    < af:serverListener method = "#{callBean.onBlurNotify}" type = "onBlurNotifyServer" / > "

    < / af:inputText >

    ==================================

    function onBlurTxtField (evt) {}

    source var = evt.getSource ();

    var custEvent = new AdfCustomEvent (source, "onBlurNotifyServer",

    {submittedValue: source.getSubmittedValue (),}

    {localValue: source.getValue ()}

    (true);

    custEvent.queue ();

    }

    is there an alternative like this but for the tags of the adf

    < h:inputText id = "string" >

    "< f: ajax execute="@this ' make = "testtest" = "fuzzy" event listener = "#{callBean.getFunction}" / >

    < / h:inputText >

    Thank you

    Just tested and does not :-(

    Same combination with h:inputText only works if you listen to code resides in the managed bean in faces-config. XML (and not in the adfc - config.xml)
