  Please open Photoshop CC or CC bridge

  For Windows , go to Edition > Camera raw preferences > uncheck "use graphics processor.

  for MAC , go to Photoshop > Camera raw preferences uncheck 'use graphics processor '.

  I'm totally agree dj. but, although some are not aware, that many others simply enjoy additional work.  I use smart after treatment in LR objects, so that after making changes in Photoshop, if I discovered that he had to go back to LR do some additional settings, rather than changing the programs, I can do the extra work in PS Camera Raw.

  I'm having a problem when opening a file with Photoshop. I'm under Pohotshop CS4 for Mac OS X Leopard. Whenever I'm starting a new project in photoshop and open an image file, the 'Open Image' button is replaced by an "Open the object" button at the bottom of the dialog box. I don't want to open it as a smart object. I need a solution/advice on how to repair this problem.  I was just an image in a dynamic object and was shocked to see that change the next time I used PS. I reset all the settings of photoshop to original deafult (now command/option/shift and running Ps) yet, this did not resolve the issue.

  Just found the solution on another question! When opening an image, click the hyperlink in blue text next to the 'Open' button which will open a box that hope you give the possibility to deselct 'open as smart object' that others who find it useful.

  I suggest you please update Camera Raw 9.1.1: Camera Raw of Adobe Photoshop CC and CS6 Installer

  Once done, launch Photoshop and click Help > about plug-in > Camera Raw.

  And check the version of Camera Raw, you see there, it should be the most recent.

  If you have a bunch of images, just use Bridge / Camera Raw to color correct your images and then select all in ACR and save in any file type that you want. Then you can import them into first. Warunicorn I prefer to use ACR for correction of images, original colors because it's pretty powerful, and then if they stayed a few tweaking the color grading in first or SpeedGrade use.

  As JohnTSmith says you must have a version of CC of Photoshop installed on your computer.

  The Parent to Camera Raw/bridge software is Photoshop because the camera raw plugin is installed on your system with Adobe Photoshop.

  Please open Photoshop and edit an image in camera raw by going into the filters and then open the bridge of file > Browse in Bridge and check if the option to edit your images in camera raw directly.

  Also make sure that your camera raw plugin is the latest version see: Installer of plug in Camera Raw
