Opening multiple .dng through Camera raw in Bridge for use in Premiere Pro?

I was going to the coast of this video ( CINEMA DNG & FIRST PRO CS6 - YouTube ) to try and shade of color all my .dng files and then take them in first pro to put it in my calendar. Whenever I try to select all files and open them in camera raw, it gives me the notification of "". "" I can open a single file in photoshop by double clicking it and color of that medium grade but obviously I cannot do for each file in the video, and it is yet to help me with the import.

Even trying to open a file in camera raw gives me the notification. I tried Googling the problem but they are all adapted to open it in photoshop, I can do, just can't open multiple as seen in the video.

I'm under Bridge, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro on CC.

Thank you very much

If you have a bunch of images, just use Bridge / Camera Raw to color correct your images and then select all in ACR and save in any file type that you want. Then you can import them into first. Warunicorn I prefer to use ACR for correction of images, original colors because it's pretty powerful, and then if they stayed a few tweaking the color grading in first or SpeedGrade use.

    Hi guys,.

Anyone know why, when I try to open an image with camera raw in Bridge, it is said: the camera raw editing is not enabled. Camera raw edition requires a product calling has been launched at least once this feature.  What should I do?

  • Cannot open files in Camera Raw in Bridge CS6

    30/05/2014

Believe that this problem happened after automatic update to Adobe (but not sure).

Always transferred files from camera in the bridge, then make some changes by opening JPEG and RAW (NEF) files in Camera Raw in bridge.

Now, "open in Camera Raw" is grayed out and I can't find a way to open files with Camera Raw inside Bridge CS6.  This seemed to happen suddenly and without new software or applications added to the computer.  All the other apps/software works well.

Have you tried various bugs found on Adobe community discussions without success.  Now ongoing problem for more than a week +.

Am able to open files in Photoshop without problem, but want to be able to make some quick changes using Camera Raw, open files from Bridge CS6.

I use Bridge CS6 Version 5.0.2.4.  (as part of Adobe Creative Suite 6).  Update says I have the latest version of the bridge.

I use an iMac with Intel Core i7 processor computer

    OS X 10.8.5

Found others with this same or very similar problems on the forums but it either can't understand access plan/patches or impossibility of complete instructions on my computer.

See for example: Camera RAW update the question with Bridge CS6

Since this link/discussion, we find this "solution":

Updated Camera Raw 8.4, Bridge CS6 Mac OS is not display the image metadata, or allow you to edit images in Camera Raw.

Manually install the camera Raw plugin 8.4.

    1. Exit Adobe Bridge.
    2. Download the file below.
    3. Find and double-click on the downloaded file to unzip it. The resulting file is camera Raw.plugin.
    4. Navigate to the folder Macintosh HD.
    5. Open the folder/Library/Application Support / Adobe / Plug - Ins / CS6 / File Formats.
IMPORTANT: Navigate to the folder root of the library on your hard drive, not the library folder in your user folder.
    6. Copy the step 3 Camera Raw.plugin file Formats folder.
IMPORTANT: This new file overwrites the file already in this folder. It is important that a single camera Raw.plugin file located in this folder.
    7. Open Adobe Bridge.

    *Camera Raw.plugin.zip
Mac OS Camera Raw plugin 8.4 for a manual installation

However, when I try the above, I have these questions:

    1. when I double click on the downloaded file, my computer opens PhotoShop and an error message is displayed, that States "could not complete your request because Photoshop does not recognize this file type."  (I think this may mean my computer is automatically unzipped the file, but I'm not sure about that).

2 not quite sure I don't know how 'navigate to the folder Macintosh HD' suggested in step 4 above (OK, I'm new on Mac; since a long time PC user...)

    3. when I am in the 'Finder' and click on 'GO' while holding down the button 'Option', I find "library".  in this context, I find ' / Library/Application Support/Adobe ", but there is no 'Plugins' folder in the subfolder"Adobe ".

4 don't know how if I'm in the 'library root' on my drive hard vs 'library under my user folder '.  (New, new Mac...)

I have NOT yet tried to make a "Uninstall" and then re - install Adobe Creative Suite 6 together and I would like to avoid that if possible.

Absolutely would LOVE it if Adobe would simply push an update that should fix this problem or if someone could explain to me how I could restore the previous version that worked perfectly for me.

Any help, suggestions (in very basic, simple terms that any fool again in the world of Macintosh can understand) would be appreciated.  Very frustrated with Adobe at the moment.

Especially like the switch to Mac, but with this and my picture to come to a sudden stop workflow, have doubts.  (But I guess that the update of Adobe for PC can cause problems as well).

Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions.

    30/05/2014

Literally minutes after I posted the above, I thought that this myself and now I'm a happy camper and things are back to normal!

Here's my question/error: as a new Mac user, I was not negotiating/find files on my hard drive correctly.

In case there are others out there with this same question (and I'm apparently dense):

Here's what I did which resulted in a correction:

    First steps:

    1 exit/close bridge

    2. as stated in the post above, go to this link to download the Camera Raw Plugin file:

Issue update to Camera RAW with Bridge CS6

Link to download is towards the end of the instructions, but I try to insert this link for download here:

    Camera Raw.plugin.zip

    3. once the file has been downloaded, find her using "Finder" click "Finder" and look on the options list on the left side of the Finder window to find "downloads".  On my computer, clicking on "Finder" these options appear in the list on the left:

    All my files

    Air drop

    Applications

    Desktop

    Documents

    Downloads

    Movies

    Music

    Photos

    4. download you just made should be at or near the top of your download list should be designated as 'Camera Raw.plugin' and will be 83.5 MB size

    5. I clicked (two fingers on the touchpad) to bring up the drop-down options menu and choose 'Copy 'Caméra Raw.plugin' ' this list to copy the file.

Now, you copied the plug that will correct this problem.  The second set of steps below will guide you through how to replace the file that is located on your hard drive with this record in the file you copied.

Second series of measures (and this is where, as a new Mac user, I was confused at the beginning)

    1. even once, click 'Finder' on your Mac.

    2. the top of the screen, find 'GO' and click on it.  ("File, edit, view, GO, window, help", you should see "Finder" in the upper right corner of your screen, then click on the THUMB)

    3. in the drop-down menu that appears, click on 'computer '.

    4. then double-click on "Macintosh HD" to open your hard drive

    5. then double-click on the "Library" folder to open that.

    6. then, click on "Application Support" folder to open that.

    7. then, double-click the "Adobe" folder to open that.

    8. then, double-click on the "Plug-Ins" folder to open that

    9. now double click on "CS6" to open this folder.

    10. Finally, double-click on the "File Formats" folder that appears.

    11. NOW you should see this:

    12. click right (two finger press if you use a Tablet) to open the options window.  Select 'paste' by clicking on this option.

    13. you will be prompted with an option to keep existing file replace GOLD file.  Choose "Replace" according to the new "Caméra Raw.plugin" file in this folder.

Finally, if you now go back and open Bridge CS6, you should be good to go.

Hope this helps someone out there.

I hope that future updates to Adobe will be better.

If the installation program itself fails to open and run. Download it again maybe your current download is corrupted. Also, what OS you are using and you are an administrator with permission to install.

  • Failed to open Camera Raw in Bridge

One thing I noticed, is that with CS5, when I chose to browse in Mini Bridge while in Photoshop, Bridge opens in the background. In CS6 when I browse in Mini Bridge, ordinary bridge does not, even if I can open the bridge directly from Photoshop. The other strange thing is that I can open Camera Raw mini Bridge, just no ordinary Bridge. I get the same message as others, that the original application of the bridge is not active and that I have to throw a qualifying product at least once in order to open Camera raw. I searched all files I downloaded and installed "trial", but nothing came. Is there a certain file or name extension that I should be looking? Or y at - it another way to solve the problem?

    Thank you

It's possible you demolished a trial rather than uninstall.  Not sure if that would leave parts of the program which could fault you upward.

Many users have found that the removal of former tests solved the problem.  But if you can't find one then I am at a loss.

When I go to go/browse in mini bridge in the Panel there is a notification that says "the bridge must be running to browse files" then a button titled radio "launches bridge.  If you don't get this, it may indicate a bad installation.

PS Could get conformation on what I don't have yet to see must use mini-Bridge.

  • How to open Camera Raw in Bridge, it comes up with the following error

How to open Camera Raw in Bridge, he comes up with the text following error application parent Bridge is not active bridge requires that a product of eligibility was launched at least once to activate this feature.  It opens in Photoshop CS6 & items 10, but not bridge?

The uninstall program feature is in the OS under control panel.

My mistake that the cab file should be in C:\Program Files\common filesFormats \Adobe\Plug-Ins\CS6\File it should be only a single file.

Must also be a 32-bit program if use you it.

The AppData/Roaming is where you will find all the particualars to bridge - keywords, cache, etc.

  • Product qualification for initialization of Camera raw in Bridge CC?

Can someone tell me what programs Adobe qualify for initialization of Camera raw in Bridge CC?

I tried to install a (trail version) Photoshop elements which RTAs. This however to my surprise not allow me to start ACR of the bridge.

(Of course I use ACR through the components, but this isn't what I want...)

You must use regular Photoshop to open files in Bridge or organizer mentioned above, for Photoshop Elements. While both have Camera Raw, The Elements version has limited functionality.

  • Where can I get the Adobe Camera RAW Nikon D7100 update using Bridge CS5?

Where can I get the Adobe Camera RAW Nikon D7100 update using Bridge CS5?

    Currently using:

    Adobe Bridge CS5 v. 4.1.0.54

    Adobe Camera RAW c. 6.7.0.339

    Thank you!

The D7100 was added to the list of devices supported in Camera Raw version 7.4, which is compatible with Photoshop CS6. There is no Camera Raw plugin for Photoshop CS5 that will support this camera. You will need to choose another software, or use the free DNG Converter to create negative digital copies of your NEF files. Then you can open these files DNG using Camera Raw, you have now.

  • Lightroom - cannot open the Photos in Camera Raw

    Hi all -

I need help with Lightroom and running with bridge in my feed working... At work, I use Lightroom for most of my post-production work, but my boss likes to see pictures and make his choice with the help of Adobe Bridge. She also likes to open photos in Adobe Camera Raw, bridge, in preview mode, but for some reason, the option for this has recently dimmed. Any idea what can cause this problem? We use a Mac, with LR 5 and CS6. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

The news of Elijah-d are correct. Lightroom is a complete standalone application and saves work in its catalog file, so even if you work with Lightroom by default , his reads and writes from the file catalog.

Bridge / Camera Raw in contrast will be reading and writing in the .xmp sidecar files you will need to use the option in Lightroom to also write the info .xmp.

Also, there are some things that Lightroom does not write to .xmp who likes a specific to Lightroom, collections, virtual copies, history etc.

See more info at the link below.

Photoshop elements 11 will use only up to Camera Raw 7.4. You'll either need to upgrade Photoshop Elements or use the free DNG Converter provided by Adobe. The latest version of the DNG Converter is 9.1.

  • Problems using Camera Raw in Bridge CS5.1

Hey so I don't know what the devil is going on, but the Camera Raw worked perfectly for me when I first came to this computer. It is a work computer, and all programs have been installed recently. I like to use Camera Raw due to changes in basic easy and made massive (from .nef to .jpg) because I do a lot of shooting as a journalist.

As I said, it worked very well for me these last three weeks. Now, I get this error message:

The Camera Raw editing is not enabled

Camera Raw edition requires a product calling it launched at least once to activate this feature.

I just installed the program, alongside the editor of PES 12, and I have no idea how to solve this problem. Of course, I opened the Bridge and PSE, so I have no idea what I'm supposed to do now.

Please please help. It's a MAJOR pain in the anus to change each picture manually in PSE.

Try resetting preferences.  Hold down the option key and launch Bridge.  You should get a window to reset.

If this does not work, it may be how they programs installed.  They use a disc?

Don't know which of these 2 options but in ACR I checked these 2 boxes. "use software rendering' and 'generate previews of monitor size." One of them or both's done it. Now bridge of sharpness is back! Funny thing I never remember to change these settings - something I would not have done right.

    Anyway thanks for the help.
