Alarm system

How to configure the event of alarm to trigger for any rule that fires in vFoglight 6?

Greetings Alain,

the status of game please to:

If (@Event.get("change").get("value").) Equals("0")) {return true;}

return false

This verifies if the alarms has "Pushed" State Then no "clear" or "accknoledge" will increase your true state.

Best regards Jan

    Hello
I have a Satellite A200-1KZ PSAE3 under Windows Vista Home Premium.
I have a clean install, so I have no third party applications running in my energy system.
    I have the SKAA140a.rom (v 1.40).

The thing is, sometimes without any reason, I heard the sound of the alarm of the laptop for a second or two.
For example, today was when I was playing an Xvid.

    No idea why?

    Thanks in advance!

This alarm sound that say you?
Did you mean an alarm of battery or what?

Please understand that it is not easy to say what is the sound of the alarm.
I would recommend studying a little in the power of Vista for the settings of the alarm options.

  • False alarm "system safety at risk".

My wife has just started to download a update of Flash Player for his MBP and stopped when she realized that they wanted to change a lot of settings, such as the browser by default, etc.. She received a message asking if she didn't know she wanted to leave the page as well as a scary message (see screen capture below).

I called the number in the message and it did not Support Mac. I recognized the voice as being a man with a foreign accent, telling me that I have a serious malfunction in my computer it will help to set. It sounded like a very long call remote. I realized that it is a scam and that he hung up.

All this experience? I had to call my phone at home several times telling me that they were aware of a computer problem and that they would like to help me solve it. They need access to my computer to do. Of course, that don't give them not only access. I get the these calls one or two times a month.

If someone else gets one of these messages. Ignore it. Or, call Apple and ask them to check it out. But it's not Apple.

Yes, this is a known scam. I hope that you do not allow access to any information on your Mac. Ignore it or report it to http://www.apple.com/feedback/

    Hello

I'm doing VI which has two valves of a tank. One is the input valve and the other is out. When the input valve is open, then the liquid is supposed to go up to 1 unit for each unit of time. and when the release valve is opened, and then the liquid is supposed to go down to-0.7 unit by unit of time. • See the list of system alarm notifications

How to display the list of alarm system notifications? It indicates when an anlarm is present, but I need to show this list on demand to watch the story of alarm. I can't find anything in the menu normal workspace that will show in this list.

My other thought is to create an alarm for a push button on the workspace and trigger the list this way alarms.

    Hi Damien,.

First of all, let me mention that if you use VeriStand 2015 SP1 or later, you can use the new Manager user interface as an alternative to the old VeriStand workspace. This new application has an alarm monitor tool that has a tab alarm history that you can pass ot at any time. Check it out if you have not already!

Regarding the history of alarm notification dialog box, there is no built-in features this and the only time where it will be displayed is when an alarm is fired. The VI is built in the exe VeriStand, changes cannot be made.

However, I was able to do a simple VI that you can add to your Tools menu that allows you to display the dialog box. Some cautions however first:

    (1) it is not fully tested, so there is a chance, it may not work properly in all cases (even though she seemed well in my limited testing)

    (2) it refers to a path of the internal VI to the exe VeriStand. There is always a chance that this may change or stop working in the future (although I would say that the chances of this change is fairly low)

    (3) I made this 2015 LabVIEW VI, so it only works with VeriStand 2015 or 2015 SP1. If you use a different version of the VeriStand, let me know and I can recompile it for you in his own version.

To use this tool, unzip the VI in the .zip file to the following location:

    VeriStand 2015\Workspace Tools\Show \National Instruments\NI alarm History.vi

You VeriStand project, click on the "User Interface" node and select "configure tools." In the dialog box, click the 'Create a new item' button in the lower left corner of the dialog box, and then configure it as a tool for custom VI, as shown here:

After that, click OK, and then run your project. In the menu 'Tools' in your workspace, you should see the new command "view alarm history. If you click on it, the list of Noticiation alarm system should appear.

If all goes well, that should work for you, but let me know if you have any problems.

If you don't want to use this for some reason, your other idea on the creation of a dedicated button alarm will work as well, but then you'll find yourself with a lot of extra any notification of alarm to 'View' in your list.

  • Can you do email notifications operate more like alarms?

My company has a field technicians who are all equipped with iPhone to run iOS 9.2.1 ongoing 5Cs. My company has a round the clock alarm system and the system is capable of sending these messages as emails. Our network operation Center made away with 24/7 operation inhabited, so these alarms will have to go directly to the technicians at home on their phones. These notifications by e-mail must be strong and quite proud wake up our technicians in the field at any time of the night.

My question is: is it possible that you can make the ring as an alarm email notifications, you have to disregard/recognize, as a wake-up function?

I was shared around with the VIP alert settings in the Mail application, but it seems to me that you can configure such a function, at least not while the phone is locked.

Y at - it a separate app that I can download that will help me with this feature? Is there anyway that I can do it in the settings of the iPhone? Any information you give me will be appreciated.

    Thank you!

There is no such feature of the Mail of iOS app and no add-on 3rd party app. You can suggest it to Apple: Apple - iPhone - Feedback

  • BlackBerry Passport stuck in mode alarm and cannot be disabled. but it's only the début gets much worse

I contacted support blackberry before about the problems with the alarm, especially that, unlike previous devices that the passport must be left switched on so that the alarm to work. which means that any owner Passport learned the hard way, if you set the alarm and power off, the alarm will be off not because the device must be on the alarm will go off.

However, bedside mode ends up being - I don't know - "corrupt"? by being left permanently. I've known many strange bugginess of the bedside mode. but nothing like that is.

-This morning came the cherry on top, the alarm could not be disabled.

normally in bedside mode when the alarm goes off, you just touch the screen and it stops the vibration and noise of the alarm and goes into the screen unlock mode so you can get your day.

but this time, he has not extinguished. It happens now for more than an hour. with a full battery (since it was loaded before calling IT a night), I estimated that the device of vibration inside will wear down or the battery will take a week or more to die.

the Passport is designed in contrast to other blackberry phones, we can't remove the battery for a hard reset. that would have solved this problem immediately (but not my concern for her)

without anything turning off the alarm, I tried a pass Hail Mary: turn the unit off.

Initially, it appeared that he was going to work; He had stopped the alarm sound and vibrant and has been turned off - but then partially through this judgment, the blackberry logo came on the screen and alarm and vibrating started.

It does not turn off, the battery cannot be removed and nothing while the aircraft was still on has been to turn off the alarm. What to do in a situation like this?

I think that after the flood of various technical flaws, I knew within eight months of owning, this severe alarm fault has probably ruined my passport, he simply refused to let me turn the alarm off and now it is blocked in alarm mode, halfway between being off. I can't tun this return, cannot turn off, it will simply and as a mobile with tourette's.

I really wish blackberry did not alarm system set up for turnthe peripheral turned off if you want the alarm must be activated, leaving constantly in bedside mode rather has an effect on it.

previous mobile blackberry I had always allow you to stop, and then in the morning it goes on automatically to the alarm-it was perfect. He laso allow you to get the mobile to have to reset every night. how much is it?

but now, given that I bought in England and returned to the Canada, I find myself now in a quandry: thousand dollar mobile is destroyed (well; it was £500 so it's a thousand Canadians), my insurance overly expensive unconditional replacement if lost, stolen or damaged is from a company in the United Kingdom, and I of course can't send it in the post for my replacement free while she is buzzing and alarming, and vibrant.

so it'll be at least a week before the battery dies offshore, so I can do it.

It's a nice mobile phone, by far my favorite blackberry ever but that alarm is of course quite wrong.

If only the battery could be deleted

I didn't have problems with the alarm as you make it.

    What should do?

    1. What is your operating system loaded on your device? From the main screen, drag to the bottom of the black bezel that is superior to the settings > everything... What is the Version of the OS that there are listed?
    2. Do NOT turn off the device to restart the device.
    3. Restart the unit in one or two of the following methods:
    • Restart: With the BlackBerry powereddevice, press and hold the power button on top about 20-30 seconds, ignore the 3-2-1 timer and hold the button until the screen goes black and you see the red LED.

    or

    • Restart: With the phone smart BlackBerry turned on, using the keys of volume of the edge side, press on and hold the keys of volume for about 20 seconds and both of the Up, ignoring the initial message of screenshot... the screen go black, reboot.
  • BB10: qnxSystem.ALARM not firing

I use qnxSystem alarms and qnxSystem.runFrameCycle () to keep my application minimally active awakening so that he is in the background, so it can check the time every 20 seconds and turn the powerMode until throttled if the audible alarm is due to play.

Everything works perfectly in my PlayBook application and with BB10 it works perfectly, but only in debug mode. When I install a Release version , it seems that the alarm system stop light (or no effect) when the window is hidden. The app is just dead in the background!

(Even if the thumbnail comes up in the display, it doesn't always get all the events (active Frame not updated), but strangely, it can then be "awakened" by slightly waggle (scrolling up and down) the screen with thumbnails of the app)

Any thoughts on why this is happening? Or how I can get around it?

    Anna

  • How to set the wake-up or rest or notification system

    Hello

Recently, I have found that unlike android there is no background for BB10 service yet. Is it possible to set the alarm system or the rest for notification?

fireball003, it seems so far we have no way to set up a call automated our applications based on date and time, unless we do using the push service, which also requires set up a remote server to manage things. This will probably be something that comes when we have substantive service capacity, in a future update? They have never said anything on these things officially, beyond to confirm that we do not yet have them.

  • ACS 5.3 system error.

I use ACS 5.3 with the latest patch 8.

Today I get an alarm system 'Failed to parse' with this detail "Please see newspaper Collector for details."

    Any ideas?

    Thank you.

    Andrea

    Andrea,

Is there an effect on the production of GBA?

I get usually different alarms I don't know what they mean exactly, but I ignore it if there is no effect on the ACS itself or if the same alarm frequently repeated.

I suggest that you open a case with Cisco TAC to determine the cause of the message.

We prevoiusly had several alarms and warnings on our ACS. later, we found that it recharges in silence sometimes. Cisco helped debugs and we waited until the silent reload occurs. Cisco said it's a hardware problem and we got the replaced device.

BTW, I have the same version/patch. I have a physical device.

    Kind regards

  • vCenter alarms & SNMP Trap

    Gang-

I try to get my vCenter alarms to send traps SNMP for SNMP Manager/receiver so we can automatically open the service tickets based on certain types of vCenter alarms. I have loaded MIB and OID translate for VMWARE-VC-EVENT-MIBs.

Everything goes well and using the free utility TrapReceiver I'm able to test receive interrupts.

    Here's my problem...

I don't know how vCenter is differentiate the name of alarm vCenter in trap data. Some vCenter alarms/traps, I want my ticket system to open lower or higher priority tickets, so I need to figure out how vCenter translated the alarm at the "vmwVpxdObjValue" into the trap. Unfortunately I can't find any information on how to translate this value and I don't want to wait for all my events to trigger production, just to get a sample, so I don't know what to expect.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

Well shoot - that isn't quite right either.

Seems that if it is a fault of the alarm system, the TRAP will leverage the value of $alarm.extensiondata.info.systemname as the beginning of the vmwVpxdObjectValue data.

If it is a user/custom alarm, it seems to refer to the value of $alarm.extensiondata.info.name.

I have to have a script that includes both.

  • Alarm option

Is there a way to configure the alarm in vcenter, so that when the client restarts it sends the name of admin who reboted comments?

If not vcenter, any motor option available?

Yes, there are special environmental variables which are accessible, and one of them is the name of the user associated with the event.

Take a look at the documentation for vCenter on alarms - http://pubs.vmware.com/vsphere-esxi-4-1-installable/wwhelp/wwhimpl/js/html/wwhelp.htm#href=datacenter_admin/r_alarm_environment_variables.html

Some examples of execution of orders customized using vCenter alarms:

    http://blogs.VMware.com/vipowershell/2009/09/how-to-run-PowerCLI-scripts-from-vCenter-alarms.html

    http://www.virtuallyghetto.com/2010/10/VMotion-with-style.html

You see, you can easily extend the alarm system and transmit data to alarm but meta about the alarm to any external monitoring system.
