aligned to the left of the images in a table cell

I just started trying to learn DW.
Why some of my images left justify in the cell (because I want what they) while others float about in the center of the cell?

Put this project on hold. Go here-

http://www.w3schools.com

Spend two weeks of learning HTML and CSS. DW will be a walk in the Park after
that, AND you will be able to answer questions such as yourself.

  • Alignment of the Flash menu in table problem/margins between images

    Hi, I built a website using Dreamweaver (I'm a complete newb to CSS and HTML, I'm a kiltmaker!). It uses a table layout that will connect eventually to a shopping cart. I'm just working on the html part, and I would include a Flash menu bar. When I add the SWF file, I would like to align with the top of my product images, but unfortunately, ends up looking like this:

    http://amhamiltonhandmadekilts.co.UK/test/flashtestdresssporrans.html

    I would really like it if the top of my menu flash would align at the same height as the rest of the images, for example at the same height as "dress sporran" etc so that the design is flush.

    Any ideas on how I could solve this problem would be greatly appreciated!

    Also, I would like that the spacing between the images were not as big table, so that it looks a bit neater, is this easy to do?

    Thank you very much

    Steve

    I see you still seem to be placing the menu and products in the structure of the table.  First create an external table which has two cells side by side.  Make sure that the 100% table.  In the left cell of the table, place the Flash menu with its setting valign to the cell.  In the right cell of this place of menu a new table that contains only products.  This approach allows you to remove any dependence on the menu arrangement of the products and vice versa.

    Play with it in a new page of practice... feel free to try different things.  I think it's good for you to gain experience with the handling of the page layout using tables.  That way, if/when you move to the side of the css, you will be able to say why it is preferable (if you do) by personal experience, and not because someone else said it.

  • Alignment of the Image in a frame.

    I am building A card with a batch of images. Yesterday, I learned how data fusion and that works well. Now, I need to align each image to the bottom of the image, in that the image is set. I looked and looked, but I see not a simple option at the bottom align.

    Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    In the model, select the frame and right click, and choose Options for mounting block. You should see a transformation proxy to select alignment from the bottom.

  • alignment of the image in columns

    Hello, I am relatively new to Dreamweaver.  I'm trying to reproduce a page that was created in Sitegrinder (if this is important), and try to align the images in columns.  I have the images centered, but I want them to be on top of the boxes/columns, so collars seem to be suspended by the top of the page.  I honestly don't know if the issue is that the images are not at the top of the columns, or the entire page is aligned 3-4 px high.  In both cases, I can't understand how to fix it.  Help!  Thank you.

    http://www.martinantonstudios.com/jamie_index (This is the page that I'm building)

    http://www.martinantonstudios.com/ (This is the page that I am trying to replicate)

    Kind regards

    Jamie

    First of all, insert the following code into your page (the first styles on your page before entering other styles), and then after return with a link to the page revised to see what it looks like now:

    * {
    margin: 0;
    padding: 0;
    border: 0;
    }

    The code above is simply reseeting the browser by default so that all browsers have the same settings.

    Hope that gives you a start.

    I want the image should be vertically aligned at the top of the content box. Do I need a div? Help, please.

    I don't know that I'm looking to solve the problem in the mirror.

    Thank you

  • Alignment of the image in the table

    You probably aligned * image * to the top.
    That's what you shouldn't do.
    Select your image and remove no matter what alignment that you set in the property Panel.
    Do not align the image at all.
    Then select your cell (your td) and in the property Panel, set the vertical alignment at the top.

    Then, if your code is something like this:

    your text here

    the image must be above the text.
    If the cell is larger than the image, then you will need to add a line break after the image

    Or else, you can and the image to display as a block, using the css:

  • Problem with proper alignment of the character in my table of contents Styles

    Hi all!

    I'm working on my first book project and I have read so many threads here for the last hour, but I either just don't understand, or I have not found that I still had, so I apologize already where this question has been answered before...

    OK, so... I'm building my OCD and have set up corresponding TOC styles with paragraph styles used throughout the book.

    what I want is for the page number must appear before the entrance. so for the page number I put in place its own table of contents page number character style.

    NOW

    the page number appears left aligned. I checked the palette styles of character and here I can not put a tab for the page number appear stalled right...

    How can I get this page number to be propped right? and THEN, how can I specify the distance between the page number and the entry? There is "tab" mentioned in the Table of contents dialog box to specify the distance between the page number and the entry, but then I have to go manually every time something changes? that it is impossible? I saw in the palette paragraphy styles there is a section of tab... tried to grasp the tabs so the number seems to be right aligned and the distance to the entry, but nothing happened, then the number is glued directly to the entrance once the table of contents are generated...

    What's a sense?

    attach a screenshot in an attempt to clarify the question...

    hope you can help out me.

    Thank you very much in advance!

    see you soon

    I played with this for almost an hour, and as much as I know there is no way to adjust the alignment of the page numbers in the table of contents, suggesting off the beaten path.

    After testing a whole bunch of stuff that didn't work, I came up with the somewhat strange solution, but not impossible to simply change the table of contents manually to insert the required number of spaces listed in each entry. It takes the police that you use for numbers has Lining Figures, and you specify that, in the style, but a solution of script (and I don't know if it is possible) which are the best that I can offer. To set the distance of the number on the text, use a tab and set the position as part of the style.

  • Set the scale of all the images in a table

    Hi all

    I have a chart 2D photos (say 4 x 4). I want to scale/zoom (all together) by a factor. So I use the zoomfactor property node wired to a digital slider, for any element 1 photo. During execution, only the image element for which I extracted the property node can be seen dynamically scaling, the rest stay where they are.

    Only if I hover over them, or use the increment/decrement button, then the rest of them move to the value on the scale suddenly. Is that how it is supposed to happen? I guess that there must be a way out. I would like to see all visible on the façade to the scale of the whole.

    I don't understand the VI because they have the pictures stored on the path to my computer to load whenever it works.

    Hoping to get a solution by advanced users.

    Thank you.

    Quick and dirty, but it works

  • Cannot get rid of the gap between the images in a table

    I'm pretty new to all this, but I use Dreamweaver CC, and I inserted a table. Inside that I dragged my images in the cells, made sure that the filling of the cell, spacing and the border are all reset to zero, and yet, when I preview it in Chrome and Firefox, there are gaps between the images. I'll paste the code below if that helps. Any ideas?

    Simply put this style at the top of your page:

    IMG {}

    display: block;

    margin: 0;

    padding: 0;

    }

    This should dispel the spaces.
