all my messages in my Inbox disappeared after I sent an email
I sent an email to some contacts. Hit the Send button all the emails in my Inbox (read and unread) has disappeared. They do not appear in any of my other files (deleted, sent, draft, etc.). How can I find them and get back them?

If you have the file somewhere on your hard drive, export and import tools it will be important back to Thunderbird.

It is here that your do not get everything you want.
Either redirect all messages in local folders as I've mentioned, and in the process lose the address named one. (you can change the name of the local folders, you do.)
Or get used to having two lots of records.

I had set up a POP3 to my gmail account when I was away from the office to set up an office off so when I got home, because I is more necessary than this account and it was causing some problems for me, I deleted it. I think that's when the question began that I describe in the subject line: all messages in my Inbox display a response message has been sent, even if no message has been returned.
Is there a way to fix this?
A side-question: I used the POP3 account to respond to some emails so I was missing and since deleting that account, I can not longer see these details... message there at - it a way to recover these?

I looked at the answers online, but have not been able to understand how to recover messages that were in my Inbox before compaction.
Two reasons the most common for what you describe is disruption of the compacting process, (never touch anything until it's finished), or bloated folders. More about that below.

If you use XP/SP2 or SP3, and are fully patched, then you should have a backup of your dbx files in the Recycle Bin (or possibly the message store), copied as bak files.
To restore a folder bak on the message store folder, first find the location of the message store.
Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.
In Windows XP, the .dbx files are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in the Solution Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder options | View.
Close OE and in Windows Explorer, click on the dbx to the file missing or empty file, then drag it to the desktop. It can be deleted later once you have successfully restored the bak file. Minimize the message store.
Open OE and, if the folder is missing, create a folder with the * exact * same name as the bak file you want to restore but without the .bak. For example: If the file is Saved.bak, the new folder should be named saved. Open the new folder, and then close OE. If the folder is there, but just empty, continue to the next step.
First of all, check if there is a bak file already in the message. If there is, and you have removed the dbx file, go ahead and rename it in dbx.
If it is not already in the message, open the trash and do a right-click on the file bak for the folder in question and click on restore. Open the message store up and replace the .bak by .dbx file extension. Close the message store and open OE. Messages must be in the folder.
If messages are restored successfully, you can go ahead and delete the old dbx file that you moved to the desktop.
If you have not then bak copies of your dbx files in the Recycle Bin:DBXpress run in extract disc Mode is the best chance to recover messages:

Do not archive mail in default OE folders. They finally are damaged. Create your own folders defined by the user for mail storage and move your mail to them. Empty the deleted items folder regularly. Keep user created folders under 300 MB, and also empty as is possible to default folders.

whenever I check my mail with thunderbird (POP3) all mails in the inbox server are downloaded again.
I tried all the suggestionn of the form (removal of the index by removing the date file, unchecking leav on the area of the server).
colleagues who use outlook have a checkbox for the problem ("do not download multuple copy a mail). I don't see the equivalent in TB.Your "popstate.dat" file keeps track of what it downloaded, so that when it connects with the server and look in the server Inbox, do not download anything that was previously downloaded.
In your case, you kept old messages previously downloaded to the Inbox server and the popstate.dat confused is to see them as needing to be downloaded.
This means that the 'popstate, dat' file must be corrupted - gone awol - because it keeps downloading e-mails previously downloaded.
You need to access your profile folders and delete the file "popstate.dat".
The profile folders are hidden folders.

Help > Troubleshooting Information click on 'Show Folder' a new window opens showing your Profile Folder. Close Thunderbird now - this is important
Click on 'Mail' folder click on 'mail account name' look for 'popstate.dat' file and delete it.

What this will do?
When you restart Thunderbird, it will create a new file "popstate.dat". The disadvantage is that it. As he is not aware of what has been downloaded, it will download everything that is on the server Inbox, but only once.

No content appears suddenly when I click on some of the items in the Inbox. For the rest, I get the code, rather than normal text, and the content is not related to the sender/topic. Trash folder disappeared entirely; but when I rechecked a day later, it now seems normal. No luck with the Inbox. I read the suggestion of a repair/properties/right click, but my right click on the receipt/property box does not turn upward a repair option. I am running version 24.4.0. Help!
The answer is to click with the right button on the back of the problem, and then select Properties. Then click on the button labeled File Repair.
I don't know what you do not see this option.
Be prepared to lose messages if the corruption is too bad to get back them. Then read this article on how to maintain your records to avoid the problem in the future.

I have a project that is about 1 hour in length. It is the first project that I am trying to burn. I have a theme assigned to the project and then burn a DVD. Before the burn could actually start, PE, crashed with a dump 'blue screen '. I restarted in safe mode of Windows and then restart in normal Windows mode. When I started PE and opened the project, almost all of the themes were missing! It seems that the only theme by Group remained.
That would have removed or hidden themes? I would have also expected all or none of the themes, rather than leaving them just one per group. I used a model in the "Général" group, but one that remained after the crash is not the one I had assigned to my project.
A relocation restores the models? If so, can I reinstall PE 4.0 my CD without erasing, Amazon, or lose the ongoing projects, I created?

You have two problems that are probably closely related. The first is the system, and the second is the loss of the functional content. Certainly as far as possible to the former, I would look so that this should not happen again, be closely related.
Tell us what you find. Also, with the troubleshooting article, it bears repeating - there is useless information. Do carefully consider any link and read carefully. There should be some clues among the "stuff." It just takes time and patience.

I reset IE 8 defaults and the toolbar of Acrobat 9 & make a right click on a Web of Acrobat page disappeared. Acrobat help, explains the toolbar appears when you install Acrobat.
Is there another way to get the toolbar and right-click capabilities without a reinstall?

I can't find the message unread despite having opened all my messages in the Inbox and wonder why new messages no longer bolded.
Right click on the folder, select Properties, and then on the button repair. A new clue can delete it.

All the messages in my Inbox on my desktop get automatically removed shortly after arrival. They do not yet appear in the junk or deleted either message box! The activity Manager just says: '1 message deleted from the Inbox.

Around 800 deleted messages came in my Inbox. I removed them again and emptied the box remove and compacted. They all come back whenever I go to the Inbox. Also all the subfolders in my Inbox disappeared.
There is a box that appears almost every day asking me to compact all folders and click to do. I didn't know what that meant until today. It doesn't seem to change anything. Today, I also went to compact waste. Since posting my request the problem with deletions reappear ceased, thankfully.
My other problem with files disappearing is not resolved, they seem to have disappeared for good. I did a couple of times file Repair as you suggested but no change.

How to transfer messages from the Inbox to another mailbox?
I need all the messages in my Inbox that I do not delete to access a specific mailbox. An alternative is to send all incoming messages directly to this mailbox. I can't find a way in the preferences to do this. Is there a way?
Reason: Inbox is not synchronized in iCloud. When you use the MBA and scatters messages manually I have to start over all when the iMac. And the messages still in the Inbox of the computer, that they have been downloaded are not in the other computer. At the present time I manually move all messages in a temporary Inbox that is synchronized via iCloud. Unfortunately I forget and find myself away without my recent messages from the Inbox or at home to run after the MBA to make the move. Are there solutions?
