  Go to the develop module and highlight all the images in the film at the bottom of the screen. Enable automatic synchronization, and then click the reset button. To reset all the images in your camera default settings.

  To download my photos, I plug my iPhone 6 on my Windows 7 computer and cut and paste in Windows Explorer.

  But I noticed that about 1 to 2% of photos are not copy across properly. There will be files for some of them, but when you click on it you can preview or view the image.

  For awhile I was trawl through all the photos and re - compose the individual files which do not have copied through & this resolve. But it is incredibly tedious (I take a lot of pictures).

  Is there a better way to get a large number of photos on my phone?

  Looks like you are trying to find another way to import photos from your iPhone 6. The following Knowledge Base article provides an option to import photos from your iPhone:

  You can import pictures to your PC to connect your device to your computer and using Windows Photo Gallery:

  3. You can also see a prompt on the device iOS asking you to Trust This Computer. Tap trust or allow to continue.

  When you import videos from your iOS device to your PC, some might rotate correctly in the Windows Photo Gallery. You can add these videos to iTunes to play them in the right direction.

  If you use iCloud photo library, you have Photos app, not iPhoto.

  iCPL is a synchronization service, not an off-site storage or backup service. You must develop a different strategy.

  Is what I understand, once you have downloaded all the files that have been changed to a PDF icon Adobe Reader software. Am I wrong?

  If so, please follow the troubleshooting steps mentioned in this document KB Application, file icons change in Acrobat/Reader icon.

  If the photo thumbs reappear... they can look washed out...
  to clear this up... right click on a picture or a selected group
  or folder and choose... Properties, uncheck the box.
  'Hidden' / apply / OK.

  I could ask a stupid question, but I just got the new iPhone 6s 64gig. I upgraded from 5.

  Since having the phone, I took a photo to test the live picture feature (which works fine)

  All of a sudden to have 1 photo in my album I have 1500 pictures, and and a whole bunch of other albums like Selfies and Panoramas, etc..

  I know for a fact that I downloaded these pictures a while I'm sure that they have been transferred to iCloud and back (imported into iPhoto and delete).

  But now they are all back on my new camera?

  Can someone help here? Maybe I would like to know what's happening, or how I can fix this problem.

  I was sifting through my photos for hours, and then when I try to get a glimpse of some of them in order to determine whether or not I want to keep, I suddenly "do not have permission" in preview mode?

  Looks like you don't have read access.

  Open Finder and navigate to the folder where the images are stored.  Secondary click (hold down the Ctrl key while clicking) on the file and select Get Info.  Expand sharing and permissions down at the bottom of the information window.  By using an administrator account, you can change the permissions of the file.  If this is the case of multiple files or folders that are inside your folder staff user, you may need to reset the ACL.

  To reset the ACL:

  Start the computer into recovery mode by pressing command + R

  Select utilities from the menu bar and then Terminal

  Type "resetpassword" and then press the return key

  Select your startup disk and your user account

  Click on the Reset button at the bottom of the window

  Restart your computer in the black Apple menu

  Here's a possibility... go to... Start ORB / Control Panel.
  Folder options / tab / files and folders / uncheck
  "Always show icons, never thumbnails" / apply / OK.
