All saved from Illustrator CC v8 files seem to be corrupt - anyone see this?

Hello

I tried search but could not find anything. I try to import an illustrator file in Cinema4D that I have to register an eps, v8 - but when I try to import, nothing happens.

At first I thought it was a C4D issue but if:

  1. Create a file in Illustrator in CC
  2. Export eps v8
  3. Try to open the newly created in Illustrator CC v8 eps
  4. Then I see the following error message:

"Cannot open the Illustration. The illustration contains an illegal operand. "Operator at fault: {eps_metadata_stream} context: ZA.

I tried the following steps to reproduce the problem on two different Macs (10.8.4 and 10.8.5) and see the same error every time:

  1. Create an empty file (printing intent)
  2. Create a text box and type some text
  3. Convert all text to paths
  4. Save as Illustrator v8

Everyone sees this issue in Illustrator CC?

Any help would be appreciated.

See you soon

Ben

There are chances that you use Suitcase Fusion 5? If so disable the 'support to Enable Font sense' in preferences Suitcase Fusion 5 automatic Activation in the dropdown for "Type" of Illustrator CC.

    The answer is in the FAQ of Dreamweaver. See the article on JavaScript and other unexpected errors. You have a corrupt file cache. The details of how this problem are in the FAQ.

    Hello

    You can view these methods:

    Method 1:

    Try the SFC scan on the computer.

    SFC/scannow is a very useful command that you can use in any version of Windows. When the SFC (System File Checker) command is used with the/scannow switch, the tool analyzes all the important files of Windows on your computer and replace if necessary.

    Missing and the corruption of the operating system (like many DLLs) files are probably the main cause of the major problems of Windows. In view of this, plus the fact that the SFC/scannow is completely automatic and very easy to use, the tool should be usually one of your top not troubleshooting.

    How to use the System File Checker tool to fix the system files missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows 7
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

    Method 2:

    I recommend you perform the clean boot.

    Configuration of your system in a clean boot state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. If so, you need to maybe contact the manufacturer of the program for updates or uninstall and reinstall the program.

    See the following article in the Microsoft KB for more information on how to solve a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:

    Note: After troubleshooting, be sure to set the computer to start as usual as mentioned in step 7 in the above article.

  • Windows Photo Viewer cannot open this file because the file seems to be corrupted, damaged or too big.

    I am on Windows 7 and using Photo Viewer to watch 5 tiff files. I can open all tiff files in photoshop or psp, but not in photoviewer. Here, I can open only 2 smaller files. Is there a limit of size on the photo viewer (it seems). The files that I can not open are 1.45

    Hello

    a. like you said that the size of file that 1.45, could you give the exact size in MB, GB or KB?
    b. Since the photoviewer is used to display basic tiff files, if the file contains additional metadata information that can not be played on photoviewer it could give you the error message.
    1 copy these pictures on another computer in Windows 7 and check if the files open.
    2. you can also try to change the file format and check if it converts in this format and it opens correctly.
    You can see the following article on changing the file format.
    I hope this helps.

  • The files seem to be corrupt I upload pictures on Lightroom 3 - an idea why?

    I contacted support this morning and was disappointed to learn that they don't have any support available for Lightroom 3 questions. They suggested I ask here in the forums instead.

    Here's the problem I have with Lightroom 3:

    Whenever I have download files on the system, some of the files appear to be damaged. Some of them become white with colored lines, run across them - almost like a sweep that went wrong. When images fill first in Lightroom, they seem to be good, but as miniature previews process entirely, suddenly, a handful of them appear to be damaged. No matter what I do, the thumbnail version and the large photo appears corrupt (white blocks with colored through her lines). The only thing that saves these images takes the RAW file to another program (I use Photo Mechanic) and their conversion to a TIFF file and reloading of Lightroom 3. Then they treat by correctly. I have no idea why these random files suddenly turning / appear as corrupted files. I don't think it's a matter of card because it comes up with several cards. It is also strange that convert it a RAW in a TIFF file that is good.

    Any thoughts of why this is happening? I thought that Adobe would be available to help, but they are apparently not. (So frustrating, BTW!)

    Please help - I am at my wit's end this and don't know how to correct the problem.

    Thank you.

    This is a malfunction of the equipment.

    It can be any piece of hardware in the chain of transfer between the two (and including) the card camera hard disk. It could also be a memory problem.

    You must check every piece of material by repeating the process with another piece of hardware and even try on another computer if possible.

  • Why my text is written to a file on the SD card seems to be corrupted

    The files created by an application of BB on the SD card cannot be seen with the Windows Notepad.

    I have an application that has created some text on the SD card files. However, files seems to be corrupted under windows, but the BB app can read files very well and it takes exactly what is written. The BB OS encrypts the files?

    Here is the code

                    fconn = (FileConnection) Connector.open("file:///store/home/user/Config.doc", Connector.READ_WRITE);

                    os = (DataOutputStream) fconn.openDataOutputStream();

                    writeString(os, "1234567890");
                    writeString(os, "abcdefg");

                    os.flush();
                    os.close();
                    fconn.close();

        private void writeString(DataOutputStream os, String s)
        {
             try
             {
                 os.writeInt(s.trim().length());
                 os.write(s.trim().getBytes());
             }

    If you see a .rem extension added file name, this means that the DRM file and can only be decrypted by this BlackBerry. This can happen if encryption is enabled for the media card (take a look at the Options-> Security-> Encryption). In addition, it is possible to control programmatically if the files that you create will be encrypted or not: If the FileConnection is an instance of ExtendedFileConnection you can then call various interesting methods in this regard.

  • I had to fully restore my HD and subsequently lost all my e.mails saved from 2013 and the beginning of this year, I can get back in a new installation of program?

    I had a major breakdown of the system on Windows 7 and had to completely restore my HD. When restored I lost TB. Successfully, I rebooted TB but have lost all my e.mails saved from 2013 as well as recorded from 2014.
    The first e-mail now in my system is time that TB has been reloaded. Saved the e.mails are important and that's why I need to know how, if possible, to retrieve messages.

    If you had an IMAP e-mail account, then all your emails are stored on the server, so install Thunderbird and create the IMAP e-mail account to display folders and emails on the server.

    If you had a POP e-mail account so all your emails have been stored on the computer and you should regularly create backups of your profile folder or at least created a backup of your profile (and any other documents / images etc. on your computer) before wiping the computer/reformatting and reinstalling OS. So, you can use the backup to reinstall the profile. If you have used MozBackup to create the *.psv file, and then reinstall MozBacktool and use it to restore the profile.

    If you have not created a profile backup, but backed up/saved emails as recorded on an external device .eml files, you can use this addon to restore these .eml files to the new profile.

  • My main computer crashed and the data has been retrieved from the hard drive, including all of my Outlook Express dbx files

    I'll provide too much information because those of us who are computer knuckleheads think that everything is important since it is a mystery to us.

    My main computer crashed and the data has been retrieved from the hard drive, including all of my Outlook Express dbx files. There are four years of e-mails in these files and critical that I be able to open them.

    My only working computer running XP. It has Outlook Express is installed on it and was once used for e-mail, but not more and not implemented with my ISP to send or receive if it matters at all. Other that the sending and receiving of all the other functions of the OE program appear to be operational.

    I have read many explanations on how to open the files dbx on different sites - all is completely different and most seem well beyond my skill level.

    There is a fairly painless way to open these files? I don't want to try anything that could damage them. Please... any solution please guide me through in its simplest form - I am 64 but pretend you are explaining the process to a 7 year old. Yes, I'm that lame!

    Sorry for writing a novel and thank you to all who take their time to help the ignorant!

    I advise you to immediately copies of your DBX files restored. Save the duplicates in a place safe, and don't mess with them.
    Then try using one of the various tutorials that you have found on the Internet by using a copy of your DBX files restored.
    I did it a few times, but years ago and I DBX http://www.techrepublic.com/forums/questions/how-i-open-corrupted-dbx-files-in-oe/ visualization tool
    You just continue to make attempts, using a tutorial after another.
    As long as you have these unchanged copies of backup of your DBX files, you should survive it - other than frustration. Email PC remains a mess.
