  I gave up waiting for a response.  I just reinstalled Windows Live and disabled the Windows Live modules (Tools > manage add-ons > Disbale Windows Live) and it seems to have worked this time and I no longer get pop-up messages.  No idea why it works now that I reinstalled and not before.

  Please follow the methods.

  (a) open your Outlook Express e-mail program.

  (b) select the option 'Tools' in the Outlook menu bar. Click on 'accounts '.

  (c) choose the option "add a new email account."

  (d) market through the Outlook Express e-mail Setup Wizard. During the configuration of the e-mail, you will be asked to enter your e-mail for Hotmail, the password and the Hotmail server settings. To the incoming mail server, enter pop3.live.com. Enter the mail server setting outgoing smtp.live.com. When you are prompted for the "account name", just enter your Hotmail email address.

  (e) test your Hotmail account in Outlook Express by sending a test message. This is done by clicking on "New message" and send a message on your behalf to your Hotmail address. Once the message arrives in your Inbox, you will know that your Hotmail account is not working properly

  I'm on Qwest DSL cameria works very well.  I would use Hotmail which I understand does not.  Or Gmail using the Gmail SMTP server, but I can't seem to work yet.  I think that Qwest has Port 25 blocked, but I understand that Gmail has two active ports.

  Okay, I went to Amazon to leave my a comment star and found an answer to the question of the e-mail.

  #1 seems the Gmail and Hotmail ports are blocked somewhere in my Qwest DSL or my Motorola modem.   Also, the camera may not be able to use SMTP SSL. It is one of the two.

  #2 sign up for a 'free' to Lavabit.com e-mail account.  The basic free account does not let you email forward that is the following to the top, but you have to put up with the text based ads.  I used this to test my email and after that I was working ok, I paid for the account of the year of $8.  If you can't pay $8 and then keep screwing around with what you have now, it works.

  #3 right use SMTP SSL not and you need your name (the Lavabit email) username and password for this account enter the camera when he asked for the authorization info.   Try different ports to the lavabit.com mail server, port 587 worked for me.

  To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

  Sometimes when you use Hotmail - specifically, put the cursor in the e-mail box - Mac color wheel starts to turn. It is quickly followed by the entire screen goes black for a few moments. I visited the 'genius bar' Apple Store and they checked on my machine. They cleaned up some disk problems, and it is always the case. Their thought is that it is a Firefox problem, because they did not experience to date, and it didn't happen when I use hotmail with Google Chrome.

  Tryto clear the Cookies and Cache and check again, history > clear recent history > select time range to clear all > Details select Cookies and Cache > clear now.

• Cannot use Hotmail in Firefox 3.6

  For several months, Hotmail has been updated, I have been unable to use Hotmail in Firefox 3.6. I mean can I sign in to Hotmail, but can not open messages or post messages.  I posted this problem, along with others, in other forums related to browsers, but the response from Hotmail has always been upgraded to Firefox 7. But I'd rather not spend 7, at least do not yet.

  So I tried connecting Hotmail since another computer elsewhere using FIrefox 3.6. And: I had no trouble to do so.

  That's why I'm posting this question in the forums XP, because it seems that it is the settings in my BONES that cause the problem, although it is really Hotmail which is the cause of the problem because I had no problem before the recent changes in Hotmail.

  Note that I use Hotmail in IE8. (But unfortunately impossible to switch to IE9 because I have XP). This suggests that the problem is Hotmail or settings to do with Hotmail on my PC.

  Also note I'm having another problem that is displayed in the windows > XP > files and folders. No response yet, but am working on it. Unrelated to my Hotmail issues because it is more recent than the issue of Hotmail.

  This Hotmail situation you mention is not a matter of Microsoft somehow.  He gave works in Internet Explorer on the same computer, unlike your conclusion (that I can't understand do), it means that on this computer, something is FUBAR with Firefox.

  My suggestion: remove Firefox 100%.  Uninstall it.  Reset.

  Download the latest version of Firefox 3.6 (3.6.23) available here.  Save it to your desktop - do not RUN from the web page.

  Install it.

  Reset.

  Try Hotmail using the freshly installed Firefox 3.6.23.

  another Member here had his Xoom treat his Hotmail/Live email as an Exchange since the update to 3.1. We checked this by going to the performance of services (settings > applications > running) where exchange is running when he got this being cheked by Mail App from hotmail/live account is not exchange it is not wanting the use of the extra battery that runs the Exchange service may cause.

  Looks like you can manually configure your hotmail account to use IMAP or the autosetup hotmail on the android email client default it sets mode EAS.

  It is a well documented SCAM.

  "logmeim123" is in fact a legitimate company, but the scammers use their name for remote access to your computer.

  Either they want to sell you unnecessary software or access your computer for so-called "erors" to then steal banking or credit card passwords and your identity

  If you give them access remotely through software "logmein123", etc., my advice is to backup your data and reinstall the operating system that you don't know what they have installed.

  Microsoft will never contact you unless you have made prior arrangements for them to do.
