American Greetings CreataCard Gold 7 software is not completely uninstalled.

Original title: program uninstalls, but as a program does not uninstall

I uninstalled American Greetings CreataCard Gold 7 because it wasn't working properly on my computer uninstall.  The program uninstalled, but titled programs did not have.  Anyone know how to get rid of the title?  I checked with Microsoft Support, but they wanted $99 to do.  I am on a fixed income and cannot afford it.  Please help if you can.

Ah, I was thinking about one shortcut somewhere else.  For lists just to be stuck under the list of programs to remove programs, try this file to see if it can fix the problem:

  • American Greetings Creatacard Gold 3 version

    Hello

I read a thread on a problem that someone had with this program, but it didn't exactly relate to what is my experience, that's why I'm writing this. I have run this program for Win98 and finally on Win XP home without problem (I guess it is a 32-bit program).

I bought a new pc with Win7 JUST to run this card but WIn7 64-bit program, and tells me that I have to contact the Publisher of the software because it will not install. (I guess that's because it's 64 bit?)

I am now the proud owner of a new Mac and want to switch entirely to my Mac, but still be able to run some programs WIndows that I need for work and this program A.G. CreataCard, too.

I buy Vmware Fusion to allow me to do this on my Mac.  NOW I have to buy WIndows on the Mac.

I was told the following by Apple: it must be an INTEGRAL (not upgrade) copy which has not been registered-fi Win XP, then SP2 or SP3... OEM NO.  I talked to anyone from VMware Fusion, which explained what that was OEM and I could use it but only once and that was OK until I maybe needed if I had to replace my Mac... he then said that he would probably buy the full version, not OEM.  Unless I could get the full version OEM at a really low price (what I can)

He also told me that I could download Win 7 32 - bit version was UPDATED because there is NO need to be on the Mac already so WIN 7 is the only M/S, system that works in this way without having to install over a previous version of operation.  He also said to make sure that when I download it there. ISO files and NOT .exe files. (I am very confused about this because I don't know if I had a drive and required for installation on a MAC, that I have the choice of files... but I don't know... just my thought)

He suggested to contact American Greetings to know IF my program would work with Win 7 32 - bit version... However, after an exhaustive search, I don't find not 'contact us' to actually email or talk to someone with American Greetings to this topic.

Is there anyone here who KNOWS maybe if this version of my program runs on 32-bit Windows 7?

If not, I'll probably just get Win - XP oem (also cheap that I can find it, because it will be once use) and it is no longer supported.

Any help that anyone can give or any suggestion would be LARGELY APPRECIATED!

    Thank you very much

    Lynn

You must have at least Windows 7 Professional to XP Mode and I don't know if you will be able to use XP Mode in VMware Fusion however to test your program in Windows 7, you can download the Windows 7 Enterprise 90-day trial , even though he says that it is designed specifically for the professionals nevertheless you can download and test it under Fusion.

What is XP Mode it works like a virtual XP Machine and in a case like this, it would be a Virtual Machine that is nestled, in other words a VM running on a Virtual Machine, and this while this is technically feasible in some cases however it is not something that I would say was convenient for the general user.  That said, your other option is to install Windows 7 natively in Boot Camp and then run in XP Mode and it would give much better performance, although the draw back is you do also not OS X running simultaneously for use both at the same time.

Whatever it is, you have a few options and can use free trials to determine who will be the best path to take by committing to the purchase of which is necessary to respond to your needs/desires.

When I said "I don't know if you will be able to use XP Mode in VMware Fusion" I should say that I believe it can be done using VMware Player running under VMware Fusion Windows 7 Virtual Machine but not not using Microsoft Virtual PC, as it is intended to be run normally , under the VMware Fusion Windows 7 Virtual Machine.  Again, even if it goes to VMS nestled running and performance hit that will be taken as a result and why Boot Camp would be better if you were to use the XP Mode if the program will work directly under Windows 7.  Hope that all makes sense.

  • What version of the American Greetings CreataCard software is compatible with Windows 7 Ultimate?

I had Windows XP and American Greetings CreataCard Gold Version 2. 1 worked perfectly.  Now I have Windows 7 Ultimate and the city Version 2. 1a does not at all.  Kindly advise me, what version of American Greetings GreataCard is compatible with Windows 7 Ultimate?  Best regards, jenny.

Better to visit their web site. They will be more if something is not compatible. Ultimate should work fine with its XP mode Simulator. Check this. It should solve your problem: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/download.aspx.

This is the same advice I gave a couple of days. It will not change. This isn't a problem of Microsoft. Frenchie

  • Firefox does not completely uninstall

All begins innocently enough that these things don't...

I use a Dell Dimension 5150 XP Pro with Service Pack 3.

When I finally (recently) has decided to install Firefox, I tried integrates with Win IE 8. I don't think not of what add-on I installed it, but it worked well with the exception of a single Web site. The password box automatically fills with an unknown password that disappears when clicked on. Normally, in the past with IE 8, when I typed the username and my password, it overrode the outstanding. It worked well once in Firefox, but after that the default password overrides mine and I can't access the site properly (it can be seen, just no model no downloads, poster or comment on the son or previews of the threads can be seen).

So, I used CCleaner to completely erase history, the Cache, passwords, Firefox etc. That did not work. I uninstalled Firefox from the control panel in Windows XP Pro (but the case was still under Program Files and Firefox Mozilla desktop icon was always on the desk.

So, I uninstalled Firefox, then uninstalled IE 8, restarted the computer and reinstalled IE 8 and always noticed that the Mozilla folder and icon were always on/in the computer. I also disabled MS Silverlight in Firefox (I never used in for example)

So, how to separate Firefox IE 8 and how to replace the default password?

    Thanks in advance.

    COR - el,

First of all, let me thank you for all the time and effort to try to solve this problem (actually, two of them).

After several hours, making several system restores, uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox and I.E. 8, I finally decided to spend $129 (later it became $199 for software support coverage a year with Dell.) We spent about 2 hours (with the help of the free 30 day trial of Revo Uninstaller Pro to completely uninstall Firefox and I.E. 8 (with CCleaner and 3 Firewall de Comodo spyware blocking software I had installed on the computer.

The main problem was in fact due to having the ClickFree of Iomega software installed as a backup of the system in the case of the blue screen of death. As an external hard drive, I can start the USB port with the software window. Now, I thought that as causing a problem, because to have it installed with the password to work and before installing Firefox. Also, I haven't had not updated of software (by plugging in the running) for some time. It runs in the background, in order to keep the changes as they are made, but as I said, I was refreshed (make a backup update) for some time.

Regarding the password, wellllll... There is a saying about mercury retrograde (which excludes the communication and transport) havoc with the electronics and communications (letters or emails are sent or will be delayed or be sent to the wrong recipient or misread). When I went to type the password which ended in "ing" I had misread to read "uh." I can actually read enough good - usually - but not this time. DUH!

If the problems are solved. Thank you once again. Your advice will not lose. I went to the links you provided and saved the pages for later use.

  • Office 2007 will not completely uninstall off of my computer

Here are my problems but first a bit of history. I bought a Dell Studio 17 "computer laptop September 2008 and it came with a full version of Office 2007 Home and student pre installed. I also have a WinMobile phone HTC Touch Pro and HTC Mogul who at the time I had no idea that when I was before sync my phone on my old computer necessary for Outlook to manage my contacts. Since home and student does not come with outlook, I didn't see any need to have. But I upgraded my phone winmobile for the HTC Touch Pro and tried to sync it with the new laptop (all my info from the previous phone was transferred to the new) and it wipe all my info contact out of my phone. I was livid to say the least. I came to these forums to find out why this is when I discovered after reading that Outlook is necessary. Well I'll admit I was annoyed beggars belief, because that would mean I have to buy prospects for this computer because I had my old office 2003 computer. I was given when Office 2007 came out an illegitimate copy Office 2007 Enterprise which I haven't used, I decided since she had Outlook on that I would install it comes from OUTLOOK. I did it and I had no problem. It was in 2008. Fast forward to about October 2009 I started getting this message that Outlook was not a copy of Geniune and I had x number of days to correct the problem. Although the elapsed time and I finally decided that I spend the money and buy a copy of included Office Outlook. I thought the price for Outlook itself was just crazy. Anyway, I installed it on the computer and I still get this message. Then I realized that I need to uninstall home and students, as well as versions of company I. I did and I still get the message. Then I uninstalled all versions and reinstalled the new Office Pro Plus I bought and I still get the message. What I discovered is that all attempts to uninstall these programs does not work. Because after the uninstall, and then reinistalling to opening Outlook I find that all the previous contacts, e-mails, appointments, and tasks are still there. I even used the MS fix utlitiy to remove the Office off the computer and everything what was freezing my computer. I had to do a repair after using this utility. Correct me if I'm wrong, but when you uninstall something you shouldn't be able to see everything that was in that program after you have reinstalled the right? My contacts, appointments, tasks and messages are still there as if I did nothing right with this annoying message on the program not being is not Geniune. Removed software in the mess at the origin of this problem?

I said all that to this very important question. HOW CAN I PERMANENTLY (WITHOUT LEAVINIG TRACK OF THE PROGRAM) UNINSTALL OFFICE 2007 ON MY COMPUTER? Difficulty of MS it and Add / Remove Programs did not work. What will be?  Help, please. HTC Touch Pro

    Hello hedubang,

Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.

I suggest to try the safe mode and see if you can install it in safe mode or if there is a conflict.

Start the program in safe mode

    1. reboot your computer and start pressing F8 on your keyboard. On a computer that is configured to start to multiple operating systems, you can press the F8 key when you see the boot menu.

    2. when the Windows Advanced Options menu appears, select Safe Mode, and then press ENTER.

3 log on to Windows by using the administrator account or any account of a user with administrator privileges.

Note: In Safe Mode, your display system and the Bureau will look and perform differently than in Normal Mode. This is only temporary. To return the system to Normal mode, we can simply restart the computer.

To determine if the problem that occurs with the program is caused by another program that is running in the background, we recommend that you restart the computer in safe mode and then test the program. If the program runs correctly in safe mode, but does not properly run in normal mode, it probably is another program that is conflicting with the program in question.

To determine which program is causing a conflict with the program in question, we recommend that you perform a "clean boot" of the computer. A clean boot is designed to disable programs and services in the background as much as possible. This helps determine which service or program can be the cause of the problem.

For more information about how to perform a clean boot for troubleshooting, click the number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

929135 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135/) how to solve a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista and Windows 7

    I hope this helps.

  • Installation of J6480 does not complete

The software will not complete installation.  I tried the CD several times, I tried the .exe from the HP support site. I even tried to install with my firewall disabled.  I don't know what made the installation program (if any).  Why does this work? It's extremely frustrating.  I just bought it today and I can't make it work.  I have a HP laptop and an HP printer and they do not work together, that makes no sense...

I have HP laptop with Windows XP Media Center Edition v8000, plenty of available RAM and HARD drive space.

I found a solution to my problem here: 'Installation of the printer stalls or stops in Windows XP with a software connected by USB all-in-one' http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01308710 [this link no longer works].  It is up and running now, but it seems silly to have to go through the trouble to stop all services for installation.  I'm still not very special, what was causing the problem.  at least it's working now, and I hope it stays like that.

  • Program compatibility - reinstall an old American Greetings crafts #2 program

This old program will not reinstall on a new version of the Windows 7 computer. Broderbund is the title company that shut down to American Greetings with a copyright of 1999. Licensed by the learning company. It was made for Windows 95/98 & Windows NT CD-ROM. Any suggestions?

    Hello DanReed,

If the program is not compatible, then you try to install and run the program in compatibility mode.
    Use the following steps:
    (1) right click on the program
    2) click Properties
    3) click on the Compatibility tab
    (4) select run this program in compatibility mode and select Windows Vista or other operating system, the program has been run successfully.

Check out the link here: make sure to run older programs in this version of Windows
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/make-older-programs-run-in-this-version-of-Windows
If you are running Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate version, install Windows Virtual PC and Windows XP mode (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/default.aspx) and run your software in Windows XP.

If you run Windows 7 Home Premium, try VirtualBox (www.virtualbox.org) or VMware Player (www.vmware.com), or any other 3rd party software virtualization and install a separate copy of Windows XP (family or professional edition) for this purpose. You can find the virtualization software free that will run on Windows 7 Home Premium.

    I hope this helps.

    Greetings,
I've updated preinstalled Vista Home with Vista Bussiness x 64, and since then, I have problems with my optical drive. Notepad is a month old.

It reads CDs and DVDs without problem, but when I start the burning software (Toshiba Disc Creator and Burner XP Pro), it can not read my camera. BurnerXP Pro it says 'no compatible drives', and Toshiba DC I first get a few repeat mistakes (32007C-26-00000001, 32019-26-00000001) and when I click on 'disc information', it has no options in the drop-down menu "Drive".

When I insert the blank disc, Windows gives me an option to burn files using Windows, although I have not yet tried.

I tried to reinstall the drivers, but it does not help. My firmware is also updated.
