  I am trying to create a custom variable that displays my custom titrechapitre text paragraph tag in the header of my master page.

  The definition of my variable is < $paratext [titrechapitre] > (even if I tried 72 other variations with no better luck)

  When I insert this variable in the header, what it shows is: $paratext

  Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? CAN I create a variable for a specific, correct paragraph tag text? (I know there is a variable title chapter integrated, but I have dozens of FM files that use this tag to custom paragraph and I prefer not having to change all the). Built-in operating variables, it seems that I'm this set incorrectly.

  Hi Diane: You want to redefine one of the variables M/F running in this situation. If the tag of paragraph titrechapitre, if you redefine the first variable running H/F (so running H/F 1, but you can use one of the 18), it would look like this on the Master Page and will display the text of the paragraph containing the titrechapitre tag in the head of the race on the Pages of body.

  1. I left your trigger where it was 0:00 seconds, because the event is not linked up close a minute on the main timeline.
  2. You have a JavaScript error that prevents the execution of your code.  Specifically, you need a getSymbol call before 'numbers' instead of $, because $('numbers').$('labMarks') means nothing to jQuery.
  3. You probably want to use = instead of += to top, because your numbers parce que vos numeros sont are moving out of reach.

  Within the IPCC Express 3.5 (3) can define a variable that I can refer in many scripts?

  For example; I could define a variable to 1 on a script1 and then on another script2, I an IF statement, referring to this variable in script 1.

  Discover the scripts State_Check and State_Update under the IP - IVR folder, that's exactly what you want to do.

  I create a similar script for a client who needed to set the variable to the fire drill and redirect all calls in line waiting and again to voicemail when the variable is defined, in all the scripts of the IPCC, I used the State_Check as a subflow at the beginning of the script, and then in the loop of the queue.

• With Captivate CS6, I can't change the value of the variable personalized with AS3

  Hi all

  I did a program in AS3 flash to get the values to an XML file and put values in the custom variable to Captivate. While I was with captivate 5.

  I used something like that;

  var movie_captivate = this.parent.parent.getChildAt (0);

  movie_captivate ['customvariable1'] = 'test ';

  I've never had a problem.

  Since 2 weeks I use Captivate Cs6, I test my program and it does not work.

  I checked with a debug flash with my swf with captivate 5, I see my custom variable and its value and a witch of SuspendVarsArr table contains the name of the custom variable.

  But with with captivate swf 6, I see only a witch of SuspendVarsArr table contains the name of the custom variable but I don't see variable custom name and value.

  Can someone tell me where the captivate CS6, it is not possible to read and write a custom variable of captivate. Or if it is possible, what can I do to make it work.

  Try to access that manage variables like this:

  captivateVariables = Object(parent.parent).getMovieProps().variablesHandle;
  

  Looks like you need to convert the display for an object objects container before you can access the call of getMovieProps()...

• Variable not expandable Container by calling sequence

  Hi all

  I created a custom variable (of type def in Labview) who is a type of container.  The front panel controls and indicators of my module code for the custom variable.  If I use the variable type custom in my sequence of high level, it seems to work ok.  However, if I use in my void sequences and pass it as a parameter to the next level call sequence, the parameter is not extensible, which means that I can't select individual items for logging, or a reassignment.  Any ideas?  Thanks in advance.

• Invalid variable set

  Hello

  Last Friday, I took the time to upgrade our CME to 6.0 5.4.1.5.  The SFRs still all run 5.4.1.5 code.  After the upgrade, I found the policies have to be reapplied to each of the devices under the button ' Deploy ' up now (it took me a while to understand).  When I tried to implement the policies they were 5.4.1.5, I received warnings for each of my games to rule that says "Variable defined has no validation.  On a 5506 we have in a test environment, I was able to push past warnings and apply policies anyway.  It resulted in all policies being eliminated entirely.  For devices of production (5525, 5545, 5515) I'm not able to push beyond the warning - FMC wants problems resolved before it will allow you to reapply policies.

  Any ideas on where to find, or it can be the cause?  We do not all custom variables.  Filtered, screenshot attached of FMC and two rules in a single policy for one device.

  Problem seen on 6.0.0 upgrade to 6.0.0.1 solved the problem.

• Animation Adobe Edge of convert/save/export as an animated gif?

  Does anyone know how to convert/save/export a file of Adobe Edge animation in gif animated. I created a simple logo animation and the customer he now wants as a gif animated to add to send e-mail signature. Is this possible, or I'll have to recreate it in another program

  There is no direct way to do it, but you could use a screen recorder to do an mp4. Then you can import the mp4 in PS and if you have the plugin for gif, then you just save aa a gif.

• How can I request a profile of variable width or brush to various traits of a length without them sculpting?

  I am trying to get an effect of line drawn by hand with an illustration that I do. I built my art with the pen tool and have tried to apply a profile of both custom variable width brush that I found online. They both look good on the longer path segments, but they scrunch on shorter paths. Is it possible that I can apply the brush or the profile of all paths and have the brush apply evenly along the way for its length and then just stop rather than try to up the ante on the path set any length it is? I use Illustrator cs6 on a mac with the mavericks.

  Apply a default line. Remove the profile of the wdith and brush

  Apply the "contour" effect

  Apply the "Scratching" effect with small values.

  In the Panel "Scratch" aspect should be below "shot of contour".

• Setting Variable

  New to the script and set the wrong variables.

  I have a wheel that turns and is divided into 8 segments. I have a left and right buttons.

  The wheel is a symbol (named drinks) and has labels on the timeline for each position of the wheel.

  When the user clicks the button left or right, I need to play one of the animations and set the State so I know what animation to play next.

  I declared the variable on the stage using document.compositionReady by the following:

  sym.setVariable ("current", "wine_right");

  Then I placed the buttons on the main stage (not in the symbol). I have the following code on the botton click:

  sym.getSymbol("drinks").play ("cocktail_right");

  There are 16 possible States altogether so the above is just an abbreviated version to illustrate what I'm doing.

  I can change the variable manually in the document.compositionReady and when I click on the play button on the correct animation.

  I can also set a variable at the end of the script which is on the button and it works.

  What I can't do is set the variable based on the State in which the button is on. For example, if we begin to "wine_right" in progress, then we click on the right button "cocktail_right" will play. The following animation just after the cocktail is 'cider_right' then when we click on the right button to "cocktail_right we define the variable 'cocktail_right' ' cider_right can play next."

  What I tried, which is obviously false strives to set the inner state of the instruction:

  Then, I tried to set the variable in the chronology of symbols as a trigger so that when the animation has played the variable would be established and that no longer works.

  Simply remove the 'sym' from the end of the call, so that:

• Global variables in a book

  I have a book that contains several chapters.  The variables I create seem to be attached only to the chapter that I am when I create the variable.  How can I create a variable that spans all the chapters of the same book?

  FM is in itself variable "global". But you can accomplish this by creating a template variable.

  Start by creating a simple FM file that contains only the custom variables you need. And in the book file to select all the files that you want to have these variables in. Now file > import > Formats, select the variable template file and select the 'Definitions of Variable' item for import ONLY.

  Tip: create a table with two columns in your template file; one to display the name of the variable and the other to indicate the actual value of the variable. This facilitates maintenance.

  If you need to change any variable definitions or add others, and then just change the variable template master file and re-import, on the book.

  Is it possible to change the variable cpQuizInfoPassFail through advanced actions? I do not see this or the other quizzing variable when I try to create an advanced action and change by entitlement or expression. Let me explain what I want to accomplish, I ask the wrong question. I have a training project, with that I need to include a post test. I don't really like the captivate quizzes. I want the post-test to play as a ride on jeopady where the user chooses issues category and gets points if the user answers correctly. For this I must ask questions on a game board and (from what I can fig) you cannot have multiple questions on the same page. I'm building the quiz with my own custom variables and coded so that the program jumps to a page of the certificate if the user gets more than 84 points. THA all works very well. But I have to be able to tell the database that the program will connect with the user has passed the quiz. I thought I could do this if I assign the value 1 to the variable cpQuizInfoPassFail. Is there a way to do this? Thanks in advance for any help,

  Hi Doug,.

  I don't see the version you are using. Each interactive object can be marked, has a report following properties in the control panel (if you use CP5 or CP5.5) or a tab in the Properties dialog box reports, if you use a different version. You must add a score (default value is normally 1 point) and make sure you add it to the total score.

  When I didn't not use classes, I could easy attach my variables custom clips using this code;

  but now, I'm working with classes, and it is no longer possible.

  I would like to be able to display a check mark next to title on the table of contents page once the user displays the last page in the section.  Is it possible that I can do this, and where can I find the code?

  You can use variables to show/hide elements on a page.

  First add custom variables to represent the State of completion of each section. Something like sectionOneCompleted = 0, sectionTwoCompleted = 0, etc..

  Then add assignments for each of your variables at the end of each section. For example, you could define "on slide enter ' use 'assign' and give variable sectionOneCompleted set to 1.

  Then in your table of contents you can show/hide the elements on the page depending on the value of your new user-defined variables.

  1. go in the slide properties

  2. under ' Navigation: on the slide, type ' select 'execute the Advanced Action '.

  3. click on the... button next to 'the Action '.

  4. under change/create an Action, select 'create '.

  5. the action of giving a name such as ShowHideThingie

  6. in the area of large text, double-click the text of 'Statement add' light gray.  Gray 'add a statement' become a red "declaration". Double-click it again.

  7. Select 'condition' in the menu drop-down

  8. click 'Select a variable' and choose your variable defined by the user (in this case, "sectionOneCompleted")

  9. choose "is equal to" and then enter a value of 1

  10. then, you must specify what to do if the value is 1.  Under 'start' double-click 'Add education '. Select 'action Standard' in the menu dropdown.

  11. Select 'View', then select the name of the object that you want to display (each item placed on the blade has a unique ID)

  12. now, we need to specify what happens if the value is NOT 1.  Under 'otherwise... start', double click 'Add education '. Select 'action Standard' in the menu dropdown.

  13. Select 'Hide', and then select the name of the object that you are showing to step 12.

  14. click "Save" and close the window of the Actions dialogue box.

  This should be it!

  Note: I have not tested these steps carefully (written very quickly), but I hope you get the idea and can get out of here.
