An unknown error has occurred. Error number: 0x800C0133

I'm unable to receive emails on my desktop pc. I contacted the technical support Brighthouse and we already removed and then replaced my default email account, I still get the same error message. BrightHouse tech says he's more than likely a corrupted or damaged Outlook Express file and contact Microsoft.

I am running Windows XP Home Edition SP3 and outlook express 6 for e-mail. someone else has experienced this problem or can offer the solution?

Thanks in advance for your time.

Lee

Error number: 0x800C0133 = a corrupt Inbox.

Move any message you want to save to a local folder that you create. Then, remove the problem of Inbox as follows.

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder options | View.

With OE closed, find the box of Inbox.dbx and delete it. Another will be created automatically when you open OE.

General precautions for Outlook Express:

Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the processors and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs and account setting changes. Your up-to-date A / V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more information, see:

You may have a corrupt inbox.  Move all messages from the Inbox to another folder if you can.  Then move the inbox.dbx file in another directory in the message store directory (found via Tools |) Options | Advanced | Maintenance | Storage folder and files are hidden).  OE will create a new one so that should solve the problem.

Alternatively, you can go to file | Identities and setup a new identity, which will give you a new message store) and then add your e-mail account.  If it works fine, you can use the file | Import | Messages to get the messages from the old identity.

In the future see points 2 and 3 here: www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#2 and make sure that you back up your messages frequently, because cases often get corrupted.

  • Need help to resolve Outlook express problem error number: 0x800C0133.

When I open my Outlook Express mailbox, "I see the message: error number: 0x800C0133.

I can send messages, but cannot receive any.

The other problem is the message when you use Outlook Express, which keeps popping up all the time: "to free up space, Outlook Express can compress messages. This may take a few minutes. So I have to restart my pps, etc. that I've been listening.

Your Inbox may be altered.  Go to file | Identities and setup a new identity.  Add your email account and see if it works very well.  If this is the case, then go to file | Import | Messages to bring them from the old identity.

It is important to keep files compacted, as otherwise, the GET corrupted and you will lose messages, then you get invited to compact, let him finish.  See www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#2

  • Error 2147220995 has occurred to the unknown

    Hello

I try to use the toolkit to Vanessa echem, more precisely a updated the IV table VI, measuring more than current 5 cycles at a specific voltage. This process then repeated a number of iterations, each time to the intensification of tension in increments of 0.1 volts. After each iteration, the last of the 5 points is recorded in another graphic in the hope of generating a curve on a specific range of voltages. However, every time I run the program, one of the following error messages appears generally, always at the end of a loop when I close the mention the potentiostat at the end of an iteration of the loop, but not always at the end of the iteration as well.

Error 2147220995 has occurred to the unknown

536870863 error has occurred with the exception

two of these errors are unknown so I don't know what to change. The confusing part is that the errors do not occur always and when they do it is not always at the same point in the program. For example, sometimes it will run thtouigh several iterations with no problem and other times, it will display an error in the first. I use version 8.5 and have attached the VI changed as well as the VI original table IV that was included in the software.

Thanks in advance for any advice,

    Kai

Have you tried to contact the developer for the Toolbox?  It looks like some kind of exception thrown within their Automation object.  This kind of thing happens generally in passing in the wrong type of parameter or by sending something out of range.

Have you tried to probe the cluster of error to try to isolate which call is throw the exception?
