  Well, you have to remember two things. One, there may be any time where the disk IO would be completely zero. At any time, certain data would come the disc as the buffer cache is a circular cache that flushes unused data after certain periods of time. Also the data that will be the consultation: for the first have no choice but to come from the disc. Then there would always be a disk activity that will be there.

  Second, hmm OK do not discuss each other, it can confuse you.

  As a dba, you would not normally be too worried about user IO level. What you should look on, it is that in the system, all disk i/o are not too high which may lead to the question that your cache configurations do not correctly!

  Recently, suffered a power outage that caused a stop.  After the reboot, I get the following error:

  As it is a recent construction, I did have the chance to perform a backup, a restore is not possible.  Run a repair had no effect.  Is there anything else I can do to get it back?

  Hello, I do not understand why the Express VI does not work here, but I would highly recommend to avoid using Express VI and type of dynamic data 'wrong' here (not useful and information hiding).

• Structuring of data read from binary file

  I am very new to matlab and trying to get a comprehensive program that will read my library of recordings of electric fish.  It is a simple binary format which auto contains information necessary for playback.  After a few days before the software, I was able to write a single passage that dissects the first record of my file.  However, I want to structure the data, so that I can easily navigate through each record added to a particular file.  I attatched the file .vi so far I came with... I don't know that I have to write a loop and add data to a table or a cluster, although the procedure for this escapes me.  Is there an effective way more to code this?  Thank you very much for any help you can be able to provide!

  Well, I made my mistake cardinal on the forums and called Labview Matlab in my previous post.  Apology.  I've made some progress on this point, with a loop that adds data to a structure...

  Now, I would like to find a way to achieve more effectively... Any ideas?  Thanks in advance!

  The error is probably due to one of the reasons why:

  1. There is no file to the location: software/d01/oracle/interface/finance/inbound/email.9Nemail.13111507.3445704.cnv.

  2. no authorization on the respective file.

  Request assistance from the ADMINISTRATOR to check on this.

• Irregular blocks of reading a file.

  I would like to read a file 1 or more blocks like this:

  Int (this is not absolutely necessary but desired)

  An ofints table, where the size of the array varies per block

  One or moreordered pairs of integers (ints) and double rooms.

  The values are then loaded into variables of TestStand. Property TestStand charger does not seem appropriate for that but LabViewcan read .ini and other types of files. Preference of the source file would be beconstructed by hand and be human readable. If it is not a tool of construction would be the last resort of bethe.

  I see that the data read from the configuration files must be in couple. Itself considered converting my array of int to a string for storage, but the wholestring must be on a single line. This may be not a problem because it seems filelines of text can be quite long.

  Any suggestions?

  just a sugestion, but you could meditate on it... and develop a type definition or both (Tip: Var > str and Str > flattened guard VAR properties)

  I recently bought a laptop Satellite P500/01R. I am able to read a data CD, but can't write data on CD files. The CD is read/write.

  Have you tried different burning software?
  I m using Nero and in my opinion one of the apps better combustion.
  Here, I can choose between CD, DVD, DL or Blueray (only possible if the CD/DVD drive also supports this).

  Have you also checked diffΘrents CDs from different manufacturers?
  You should do this since not all disks are 100% compatible.
  I had several problems with different CD or DVD in most of the cases it was a compatibility issue, I tried TDK and this kind of drive is compatible with my CD/DVD drive

• Read file, reformat the data, write new file

  Oracle 11g PL/SQL.

  I have a need to read an existing file, reformat the drive and write to a new file format.

  My solution has been to read the file using utl_file and store it in an array of procedure1.  There is a column of data to hold 1000 bytes of data for each line of the file.

  Then in procedure2, read the data through a cursor column, with a certain logic and fill in the fields of a record type object by using the function substr on the data column.  The type of record object has about 80 columns, all TANK types.  The OUT of procedure2 parameter would be the type of record object.

  Then in procedure3, record object would be the parameter, and this recording would be used to write the new line of the file.  The problem I see now is that I can't convert the object record type a TANK in order to write the file.  So that would mean that I have to reference each of the 80 columns once again in procedure 3 and concatenate each for the parameter buffer utl_file.put_file.

  I don't want to assign values for columns of 80 exit more than once because that makes the code very long and detailed, so I thought that I assign values to the time in the record object, then pass the record object to the write file procedure.

  I'm looking for suggestions on a better design, or have I missed some very basic code design?

  The original file is from a COBOL program.  What I ended up doing was reference and readability, I have defined/filled all fields of provision of COBOL in my program and then concatenated fields during the construction of the output string.  It's a bit verbose, since the 80s fields appear twice, but the code is clear and easy to understand for support purposes.

• How to convert raw data from files (not CameraRaw) of the lot?

  I have a number of files that are images of raw data, which means that each has a header of a certain length, containing some info readable on the dimensions height/width, the bit depth and then only the data on the color of each pixel.

  CameraRaw does not open them directly, but they are rather loaded in Photoshop with a dedicated loading menu options.

  I can open one by one after extension *.raw which apply to them and typing height, width, depth and size header in loading options menu that opens, but I would like to know how to batch convert them rather than having to do this process for each of them.

  Of unfortunately Photoshop batch processing does not seem to be able to their treatment on its own, I guess that's maybe because they do not have the usual software-readable RAW headers found in several treaties formats.

  You may be able to write a Photoshop script to do this.  Script can access your files from file systems.  For example, a Script could rename a file to Name.RAW.  Then open Name.RAW in Photoshop with the logon options.    However, I do not know for sure there and options open to the adobe open raw file object.  You need to do this, read the script.

  What is the destination folder that the date be underneath?  In the top right it says users who suggests, you try to put the photos on top of your username instead of under your username.  Maybe that's the problem.  So change your folder in the drop-down list at the bottom right of what it should be rather than users, and if you're going to show us the destination of your photos at least scroll through the list of folders down right so that we can see which is the white highlight.
