  I set up 7.8.2.14 to get the support of the PIF, but I'm running into some issues.
  
  That's what I've done so far:
  * installed 7.8.2.14 and followed the steps to ACR483 (integration of BEEP)
  * installed (coexistence Actuate and BEEP) QF0E02
  * installed QF0E03 (support IE8)
  * installed QF0E07 (correction)
  
  BEEP server is installed and running. Siebel security model is implemented, all web services for siebel are imported and so on.
  
  The problem:
  Whenever I try to generate a report of Siebel, the component "XMLP Report Server" just falls down and is restarted. Then I get message "BEEP cannot generate the report" after about 2 minutes.
  
  Further investigation showed that BI Publisher is actually receive the job and generate the report. Build is successful because I can open the .out with Acrobat Reader file and read the contents. It seems not just to bring the report to Siebel.
  
  I have no ideas?

  I want to configure an Apache Server on a Linux virtual machine (using the last VirtualBox) on my Mac running El Capitan 10.11.3.

  5.0.15 server is already running on the Mac (and I want to keep it, with the exception of web services). I have disabled the sharing in the web server user interface, but it was not enough, Apache listening ports 80 and 443, prohibiting VirtualBox to listen to them and transmits them to the Linux virtual machine.

  So I put comment out these lines in /Library/Server/Web/Config/Proxy/apache_serviceproxy.conf:

  #listen 80

  #listen 443

  8008 #listen

  #listen 8800

  8443 #listen

  8843 #listen

  After a restart, Apache seems not to listen to ports 80 and 443 more. However, VirtualBox does not become the listener. I tried this command in the Mac terminal:

  -i sudo lsof: 80

  and nothing has been returned, suggesting that something in OS X still prevents VirtualBox to listen to ports 80 and 443. If I try to convey some random host port of Mac to port 80 in the virtual machine, then I can my virtualized server access from Safari on the Mac host via the custom port said. But I would use the standard port 80.

  Any help really appreciated.

  Instead of commenting, assign a specific IP for the server listen instead of * (which means that all the IP addresses). This is only to the server on port 80 and 443 in this config file. I sometimes give an additional IP address to the Ether. Your Linux Machine can connect to the second IP address or the first initial assigned to your server depending on your configuration.

  Server is very aggressive in it's use ports, he leaves so all services to operate, even if you have the use of ports to other IP addresses.

  Follow the steps below to disable text to speech in Windows Vista.

  (a) go to the section on your main screen where you see the time displayed.

  You are not required to change the configuration of the earpiece, unless you use a different port of 1521. If you are using port 1521, then main bodies and relief will be recorded with the listener very well.

  That being said, I never count on automatic registration in my primary/secondary case for two reasons: 1) I like to define my transport settings and 2) I enjoy using DGMGRL. I'll explain more...

  (1) I'll be shipping again from the primary to the wait. This can be a lot of network i/o. Standard TCP buffer sizes and parameters of SDU are often inadequate if you have to redo any volume transported.

  (2) I encourage/recommend/advocate the use of the DG broker. The DG Broker makes failovers or passing a command of the singular instead of several actions. The DG broker means I use use Enterprise Manager 12 c Cloud control to manage and interact with my primary/secondary environment. If you use the DG broker, so you cannot rely on registration to the Forum because when the broker performs the operation of failover, it will bounce the instance when the instance will be is no longer registered with the listener. It breaks the failover operation. But put the registration information in the listener.ora, the failover operation works very well.

  I APEX 4.XX and Apex listener 2.0.5 and I'm really interested in the configuration of multiple instances of the APEX to browse the same listener.  I found information on how you create your multiple connections, but I'm really confused by the portions on how you configure your URL cards.  In my case, I'm insterested in something in the sense of https://apex.example.com/prod/ https://apex.example.com/dev/ https://apex.example.com/pprd/ where each of them is APEX running on a different database.  I am amendable to prod a straight downhill https://apex.example.com/ until I could install some sort of application of default homepage instead of directly providing the login page for this instance.  Can anyone offer guidance in this type of installation?  I am ok if you need is to have the URL in the sense of https://apex.example.com/apex/ https://apex.example.com/apex/dev/ https://apex.example.com/apex/pprod/ if they should be.  Note my deployment is on Weblogic 12 c and I use SQL Developer to admin the listener.

  Stupid Vista goes to 50% CPU usage and connects the computer for hours after the start.  Cannot run anything with any request of CPU without getting bogged down and crashing.  It is not windows defender, I suspend this service and the machine is ok for another 1/2 hour, them I'm up to 50% of the CPU.  The idle process said Task Manager is > 90%, still indicates 50% CPU usage and the cooling fan looks like a 747 taking off.  Should I just pull the machine and go for Linux, or what?  Cannot run games or whatever it is, totally disgusted with vista of POS and microsoft can it Deep and do not get windows 7, it is probably worse.  Is that all I can turn off to get the same performance than, say, windows 3.1?  It would be preferable to the current situation.  MSCKMA.

  You did not mention the version of the database that you could use. 11 g, Yes, it is possible to have different primary and eve of binary OS.

  primary database "single instance": 10.2.4.4 (downgraded to 10.2.0.5)

  STANDBY database "2xnode CARS": 10.2.0.5 (need to downgrade)

  primary database successfully downgraded after slaughter again shipping services, etc...

  in 10.2.0.5 readme group of hotfixes, I can't find a note dealing with the ' how to make to delete/uninstall only from binaries group of patches as in dataguard we must not to run one of the scripts what database keys.

  Hi Andre,

  It is not possible to uninstall a group of patches. Either Oracle home must be restored from Oracle home or install it again. Once this is done, you can simply enable log shipping and it should take care of database backup.

  To configure dataguard, must actually DB bounce we configure dataguard in my company without rebound. All the required parameters can be defined using the alter system command to set the primary database memory, even if you use on startup pfile. When using pfile don't forget to edit to carry all the settings that have been defined on the primary database to configure dataguard so that when the DB is rebound later or to scheduled maintenance window, the settings will be retained and it posed problems for the installation of dataguard.

• Problem of Listener after changing the host name & ip address of a node

  Environment - Oracle 11g R2 is installed in the OEL 5 (node Oracle VirtualBox). Voluntarily, I changed the IP address and the host name of the node for use as a node pending. What are the changes that are needed to make in listener.ora and tnsnames.ora file?
