Anchor points align vertically in preview mode

When I'm in preview mode, the scroll feature does not go to the where I placed my anchor points. How can I make more specific anchor points.

Hello Stephen,

Can you please refer to this link and read through the first 2 sections explaining the operation of anchor links and how they should be arranged so that their State active have been made: -.

  • Text anchor point / alignment

    I have a form and a text;

    • Real text "sourceRectAtTime()" expression in the shape size, be equal size in pixels. It's not the size in pixels appearing in the box (nominal pixel size) Chacterer.
    • Need to keep the text at the top of the form aligned.
    • I have the assurance that text and shape properties were:
    • COMP = 1280 x 720
    • Text and shape:
    1. Achor Point [0,0]
    2. Position [640 360] (average size of Comp)

    • I was expecting to see the text on the shape, perfectly aligned.

    forum.PNG

    But the value of the anchor to the shape does not match the text.

    '0' for the text is = Middle width and low height.

    '0' for the shape is = width mid to mid height.

    Yes, I can drag text to the alignment of the form.

    Actually, the problem isn't height. No anchor point. But in the wide Position. Why, when I change the text, changes the situation there. Quick glance:

    forum2.PNG

    When I change the text with Anchor Point is correct, still in the Center, but the position became misaligned. The text leaves the position of the shape, going to the right.

    This should happen due to variations in the width of the letters, the "sourceRectAtTime()" expression is extremely sensitive to the letters. "

    When I drag it to the correct location looks like this:

    forum 3.PNG

    Except that I can't be slippery, I need everything for always, snaps. Even if I change the text.

    How to solve this problem?

    Update: Please, note that if I put some 'symbol', the largest in height it is also doubtful:

    forum 5.PNG

    Try this. For the size of the rectangle (works the same as you, I think):

    r = thisComp.layer("TEXT").sourceRectAtTime (time, false);

    (r.width, r.height)

    For the position of the text layer:

    L = thisComp.layer("Rectangle");

    Rect = L.sourceRectAtTime (time, false);

    hisPos = L.toComp ([rect.left+rect.width/2, rect.top + rect.height/2]);

    Rect = sourceRectAtTime (time, false);

    myPos = toComp ([rect.left+rect.width/2, rect.top + rect.height/2]);

    value - (myPos - hisPos)

  • Need help to remove the small white lines between attached forms. Still visible even after aligning anchor points.

    Hey, I'm new here, so many apologies if the community has been asked this question several times before. I do a quick search, but couldn't find an answer to my problem anywhere. Would be very grateful for help.

    I'm quite a beginner with Illustrator, so this may be something embarrassing simple!

    But as the title says, I have a very frustrating problem, trying to create an image of polygon. I've been using the pen tool to make triangles, then join all my anchor points with the horiz/vertical align Center. Roads joined look good, until I have add color... Triangles have a very light white line on them, I have tried to delete the anti alias, which solves the problem, but then the triangles look pixelated. Even when you import into Photoshop the pale lines are visible, as well as when the file is merged or saved as a JPG file.

    I've seen some very impressive polygon art and forms look seamless when joined.

    Here is an example of the problem. Ideally, I'd like that forms merged without rough lines.

    See you soon! Any suggestion would be appreciated.

    poly 1.jpg.

    BRI,

    I just read it again.

    align the center of horiz/vertical

    works on objects, rather than Anchor Points.

    You can have triangles which fail to assemble completely.

    Try this, smart guides are your friends:

    Starting with the last triangle (you can see the stacking order in the layers palette), click the path to find) and work your way upward as follows:

    1) click on the lower triangle with the selection tool.

    2) click on one of the neighbors, and move it to the bottom to be second in the stacking order, then move it a little far, then ClickDrag back by one of the Anchor Points to be aligned corresponding to the lower anchor (Smart Guides say anchor when you are there).

    (3) with the ClickDrag Direct selection tool other anchor Point to snap (you can drag a bit far and back until the Smart Guides say anchor);

    Who should ensure a full adjustment between the two less triangles

    4) continue until you are finished with the other triangles.

  • Align to the left the text anchor point in After Effect

    Hello. Sorry if this question was very noovy, but I need left align multiple layers of text. So, I want to put my on board left the text anchor point. Because I need to be able to change the text and get the same effect, I would like to place the anchor point on the left edge by using an expression.

    I used something like

    x = 0;

    Y = this.sourceRectAt () .height/2;

    [X, Y]

    However, small, apparently random offset is throw me off. How can I align my text anchor point to the left edge?

    Thanks in advance!

    Yes... I created a font that has 0 left/right bearings, and it worked perfectly.

  • Why are anchor points and bounding boxes is visible overprint preview?

    I've recently updated my CC 2014-2015 CC Illustrator and have noticed a really annoying change. I can only view/edit the bounding boxes and anchor points, while in the overprint preview. In the view/show edges and view display the bounding box does not help. It shows it as being already visible. Anyone else having this problem?

  • Why when I spend between a center-aligned line and fill my anchor points do they move?

    Hi, I use Illustrator for many years and never noticed this happens when I fill out a form - can someone explain why this is happening?

    I paint a logo using an accident stroke center aligned, rounded rectangle and another path merged to make my logo... like this plan...

    1.jpg

    .. .and when I change my race aligned at the center of a STROKE to a fill and vice versa (to make the black solid form), the anchor points of my shape... move about 10 times for fswitching between the fill and stroke, background and outline etc. my ways look like this...

    2.jpg

    Why is this happening? It doesn't do this when I use a line lined up outside or inside the way - just at the moment where the storoke is aligned with the center of the path? CAnanyone explain why this happens? What going on here?

    -Thanks in advance!

  • How to align objects to anchor points for towing towing?

    Hello.

    I need align two objects by two anchor points within the framework of selection of objects. How can I do?

    scheme.jpg

    Ivan,

    Your options may depend on version; the following work overall.

    Especially if you want to be able to do it easily and for free, you can:

    (1) for each star, create a circle of nostroke/nofill (or rectangle) with a larger box enclosing;

    (2) the center of the circle on the anchor in question;

    (3) select the circle and star (you can combine them).

    After that, you can use Align and either move as you wish (towed by its towing anchor point). When (you're sure it's) done, you can (separate and) remove circles if you wish.

    It would be nice with a script or something that allows specific movements based on an anchor Point. Maybe someone already did.

  • Center Align an anchor point

    Hello!

    I followed a tutorial (found at http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/xml_flash_photogallery.htm) and I'm having difficulties Center by aligning the anchor inside the vacuum film that loads images in the xml document. Currently the anchor point is located in the upper left corner of the image, the images will be not placed correncly if they are of different sizes. Is it possible to center align the anchor with Actionscript so images are displayed in the center of the image window? Can anyone help? I have attached the existing code in the first frame of the script that controls the film. The name of the instance to this MC is "image". Thanks in advance

  • Anchor points will not connect even when "intersection".

    Hey guys

    So my question is, for example, I have 2 lines with an anchor at each end. When I drag on the anchor line anchor the other end line in order to connect them I see green lines, saying that they cross so I line and release the mouse button. The line that I drag then moves to the side, and they're more connected. When I see in the outline I see that the lines are not connected. I try dropping them on in map mode, same problem. It is the same for all the anchor points, including on forms except those drawn with the pen tool.

    I've been job id document and it was working fine until just recently, then it stopped working and I had the problem that I pointed out above. When I open a new document, it works fine. When I copy my designs in a new document, all lines that came from the old document still have this problem but all the new lines or shapes I create join perfectly. I want to continue to work on this document that I have spent a lot of time on it to this day though I need points to align and connect when I join them.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance

    chapachap,

    In such cases, the first assumption is aligned to the pixel grid.

    You can select the entire document and untick finally align on the pixel grid in the Transform palette and uncheck also align new objects to the pixel grid in the options of the Launcher. It is crucial that the checkbox is disabled completely, not just a - which also count as ticked.

    It may be noted that even align with the pixel grid is cleared with all the selected objects, align new objects to the pixel grid is checked as the creation of new objects will result in these new objects being aligned, even when they are created from existing objects that can happen with Pathfinder operations.

    You can avoid the types of documents with the default (RGB for the web and other) or change the default value for such documents.

    Here is a screenshot of exquisite made per ton in the first post:

    https://forums.Adobe.com/message/7841770#7841770

    In addition, if you want to join them in a path, you must select them and Ctrl / Cmd + J (with an apology for possibly stating the obvious (too) you already know).

  • Fashion design is not the same as the Preview Mode

    Before going any further in the design, I'm testing several background images. What I want is the EXACT layout that I have on my screen. When I design the site, I want it looks EXACTLY like this. However, when I go to preview mode. I get something that looks nothing like this.

    design mode.png

    I have inserted the white bar goes down, but the gray bar is very thin and is at the top. My ACS logo is also close to the gray bar and not down where I want.

    preview mode.png

    Any help?

    "Sticky Footer" is enabled by default in the properties of the Site (and the properties of the Page). This function causes your page to grow vertically so that the foot of page never appears in the middle of the browser window. If you prefer rather a area height and page browser fixed showing below your page, deselect "Sticky Footer".

    I suspect the ACS logo was pinned at the top in the Middle using the control of the PIN in the Control Strip. Pinning causes a point to stay in the same position relative to a point on the browser window (top in the middle left, top, top right, bottom left, in the Middle at the bottom or below on the right). You don't want in this case pinning. You want just the element like a footer element (so verify any of the 6 points in the control of spindle are highlighted and confirm the "Footer" box in the Control Strip is checked.

    The image of the Windmill is currently a picture fill browser. As such, it will always fill the entire browser window. If instead you want a constant height but variable width, you'll want to put the image of the mill to wind as the fill of a rectangle of width 100% image. If you do not want the image to span the width of the browser, you can set the Windmill as the fill for the Page.

  • How to reach precisely the anchor points

    Screen Shot 2012-08-12 at 6.21.18 AM.png

    In the picture above, I have four symmetrical corners of an ellipse which I am trying to unite in an ellipse which is perfectly symmetrical. I'm putting anchors align perfectly (a corner at the time), and then perform a join, but the result is still a bit off. I was selecting two points I want to reach and using path-> average, then path-> sign up to do this, but as mentioned he's not accurate. Does anyone know a better way to do it?

    Thank you

    Kiss

    Fuck,

    You can, by using the palette alignment/distribution/panel (window > align):

    Under align objects 0) if necessary, select the two best quarters and Align > Vertical align on it and select the bottom two quarters and align > lower to align, vertical

    And then under distribute spacing and with the direct Selection tool:

    (1) select the two quarters albums, click the leftmost one more time and distribute Horizontal Space (with the default Auto setting), and then select the end coinciding inkings and Ctrl / Cmd + J (smooth).

    (2) repeat (the same) for the pair of stockings,

    (3) select the two halves, click the foreground once more and space Vertical distribution (with the default Auto setting), and then select a game of coinciding end inking and Ctrl / Cmd + J (smooth), then join the other group.

    Hello guys, I have a problem with my Web site.

    It seems that the tag wraping seems in fashion design (a suitable color) However, when I switch to preview mode or live version wrapper color disappears. What seems to be the cause of that?

    Your HTML code has no tag.

    Add this to your rule of #wrapper-

    overflow: hidden

    The problem is that you are not clear your floats in #wrapper before closing #wrapper, causing a #wrapper collapse vertically on one line - it is reduced to the size of its content NO MOMENTUM.  Since there is no content not launched, he will just all the way up to a thin line.  The style overflow when it is used with "hidden". Scroll"will make a new block formatting context in this container, effectively disabling all the inner floats.

    Suddenly my first Pro CC 2015-2 arrested runnig when I tried to drag a clip to the timeline, or when, after scoring its entry points and in the Preview Panel, I tried to slide the timeline. Apparently it works because it keeps at the opening, but one cannot do anything but you close with control Q; the keys on the keyboard are one thing that really works.  I can't do anything with the mouse and it seems that a certain way, the software crashed, but with all the panels open and without any warning. I copied the complete proyect to your laptop with the first Minister Pro 2015-1 and it happened the same thing, so I think the question is on the project and it started to happen after the update by 2015-1 about 10 days ago (this is not the first time that's happened but to this day I don't know how every time it turned fixed) old work projects and I finish the proyect (from scratch from another) on the same computer and with the same OS (windos10) without any problem with the Premier Pro CS6. So far I have not had problem with the version of 2015-1 that I bought last November. Could someone tell me what is happening and what is the solution?

    [edited by mod, too long title]

    Fixed with a new version of the same driver 341.92. I hope that it will be forever. Thanks for your advice and also thanks to the chat support team that came to the same conclusion.
