  Hi guys,.

  I need to create a form of circle, distributed along the path, similar to that on the attached screenshot. I created using the envelope distort/make with Warp effect, but I noticed a small distortion of the shape of circle.

  Is it possible to draw a line along a path?  Then use the timeline looks like it not you draw on signing your name.

  It is not possible to animate again but I think that the vectors are on the list somewhere down in things to add. Some people have found a work around to make masks. You can search in the forum about this. Just, I think it would be more difficult with writing although I used it a few times and it's a lot of time and not quite right.

  I would like to add a number at intervals along a path (dotted line). I tried to create a line in vain pattern.   2. draw the white background rectangle

  3. Select the two, center align them

  4 drag them into the symbols Panel

  

  5. draw a horizontal line from the no-line, no fill

  6. Select both the line and the symbol instance and center align them

  

  7 drag the Panel shapes and create a brush model

  

  8. draw another line and add the parameters of your dashboard

  

  9. go to the appearance Panel and add a related that he

• Animate a glow along rendered 3D images?

  Hello and thank you for your time,

  Just trying to figure the best way to animate an effect of light/glow traveling along a journey and illuminating along an object. For example, a cell of neurons in the brain which has an electric pulse by pulling on it.

  I want to apply the effect of light/glow in AE and not in 3DS Max is there a way to make some sort of an invisible node of 3ds max and when images are imported into AE, the node can act as my light/glow effect?

  Well Yes, you got it. Then using animation in grayscale, to perform a matte with a solid of any color. Bring this demo into your main computer and turn on the switch of the adjustment layer - it's the circle of ying-yang between motion blur and 3D switches type.

  Effect what ever you apply to this adjustment layer is applied to all lower layers.

  Here's a little quickie that I threw as well:

• Animate multiple images at the same time

  I use Photoshop CS5 Extended. I did successfully interpolation when I did only a single object on a layer, but when I want to move more than one object, it does not work.

  Example:

  I have a layer with an object (say, a circle), it is frame one. I copy this image in the animation window. In the second frame, I move the circle. I tween these two frames and everything works fine.

  If I have TWO circles on a single layer, the one frame. I copy this image. In the second frame, I move one or both, circles and it changes circles in the first image as well. Thus, interpolation will not work.

  Is it possible to have multiple images Animate at the same time? So instead of one circle movement from left to right, I could also have a circle moving from top to bottom at the same time? Perhaps executives piled as a timeline? Any ideas?

  Not like that. They must be each on separate layers and more, animate you in 'bar' mode and only convert to executives at a later stage (in the interest of efficiency).

• HELP - along a path with a different path?

  It's kind of a difficult question to ask because I know not me are familiar with the correct terminology, but I'll try anyway:

  first of all, im using illustrator cs4 on a windows pc.

  I am trying to imitate a vector graphic, I saw on a Bookplate istockphoto.com (see the link: it's the ex-libris of centre-right):

  So I drew the base boundary using paths, starting by a rectangle, adding points and manipulate to get identical curves.  I am satisfied with the shape, but now I don't know how to do the "inner" stokes  If you notice, there's a red thick stoke in the reference graph, with thinner red lines inside which are identical to the original form and inside of it.  These thinner lines are what I'm trying to achieve.

  The scale tool does not work because when I scale, "interior features" are not aligned along the inside of the heavy line outside.  I end up just with a smaller version of the original path.  I guess the problem is that the domestic lines are not the same as the original path, proportionately, so scale simply it proportionally doesn't realize the desired effect.

  I tried object > path > offset path... but it did weird things that did not help.

  I have attached a jpeg of graphic design I'm working on that.

  I can draw a circle selection and then select selection of grow and tell him how much pixels go here (or, Alternatively, boom).  Nothing like in illustrator?

  Can be used for a simple shape such as a circle, you can get the same add/subtract the same amount in boxes of W and H of the transformation with the centre of reference Point selected palette. In your case useless. Shoot really work for your figure?

  But to make the change just in a form like yours, object > path > offset is the obvious choice, followed eventually mix, just as stated by Mylenium; If you're lucky, even without cleaning.

• Reverse the flow of the text along a path?

  I have created a path to the oval text using a shape tool.  When I type along the top of the track, the lettering is flowing as it should.  When I type the lower part, it is upside down and backwards because the stream is the same as the top.  How to reverse the flow of the text at the bottom is the place and reads left to right?  Can't find info on how to reverse the direction of flow.  Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

  OK, finally successful: Type around the top half above the lettering.  Reposition the tool text down and continue typing, even if upside down.  Select the path Selection tool, drag the text down to the INSIDE of the oval that will right the text correctly.  Select the text that you want to go then it appears highlighted, go to the window "Select the vertical offset" (not the slider to the left of it) and press down as many times until it is aligned with the bottom of the oval, in my case about - 5.  For larger slices of movement, hold the SHIFT key while pressing the down arrow key to count 10 movements.  The upper part of the lettering will line up correctly with the oval shape.

• Illustrator CS5 - black lines along all paths

  I'm fairly new to Illustrator, so maybe it's something incredibly simple and obvious, but it has been driving me crazy for the last hour. My google searches have been so completely sterile.

  My problem is that on one of my files (a simple logo I work), all roads have a black line along them. It is not the parameters of the race, which was the only thing I could think that could be, many of the paths have features on them, and the good race shows, but with a black line on top of it. The lines appear in the exported files, or when the files are open in photoshop, but the black lines do not appear when I isolate paths.

  If anyone can help me with this, it would be highly appreciated (and save tear my hair out me)

  The extra loop can also have been applied within the group or level of the layer in order to check that also.

• Text block path-> the text along the path of the resulting stream

  I am trying to create a text effect in small characters following the outline of the text very large block "BOLD" (see photo).  The idea I had was to create the 'ME' in very large print text.  Then convert this text in object / path using "object-> flatten transparency...->"convert all text to describe.  Then, select this path and use the type tool ' along the way '.  However, when I use this process, the way that results is a path that does not work, that is why the long path Type tool.  Guidance on how to achieve this?  The picture below I just used a pencil to draw the letters (quick and dirty) but the result is choppy, etc..

• How do I erase along a path?

  I have my picture published, it is created in photoshop and has a fill and a bevel applied. When I erase on filling the bevel is applied in the erased areas, which I want. But my lines should be parallel not horizontal or vertical. Is there another way to do like draw a path and clear along the way? Or any other ideas? Another solution would be to copy the style of the Illustrator, but I want the pattern to match.

• Does anyone know how to draw along a path of a spiral? Lets say that I start with a spiral and then I want a path that is exactly one centimetre of the original track from start to finish.

  So, I need to create a spiral which is a cross between the linear spiral and the normal spiral. I try to be five lines just as far away from each other, but would be akin to the way a spiral looks when you use the spiral tool. I'm trying to create a piece of graphic notation (music). I'm at roughly the research to create the same thing that composer George Crumb created with his piece "Spiral galaxy", if you google you will see what I mean. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  To complete what Chantal, assuming that the 1 cm is the total width covered by 5 lines:

  (A) if the original form of the spiral should be in the Center (the center one):

  A1 object) > path > Offset path 0,5 cm (5 mm);

  This will give you an a path closed;

  Deselect a2) and with the direct Selection tool ShiftClick, both end of path segments and remove them;

  This will give you a path offset on each side as well as the original;

  A3) object > blend > blend Options set spacing of the steps specified in the step 1.

  A4) select all the paths and the object > blend > make.

  You can object > blend > Expand to have real paths if you wish.

  (B) if the original form of the spiral must be in one of the sides (the exterior or interior):

  B1) object > path > Offset path 1 cm (10 mm);

  This will give you an a path closed;

  Deselect B2) and with the direct Selection tool ShiftClick, both end of path segments and remove them;

  This will give you a path offset on each side;

  B3) remove that unwanted/useless.

  This will leave you with the desired offset path and the original;

  Object of a4) > blend > blend Options set spacing of steps specified with 3 stages;

  A4) select all the paths and the object > blend > make.

  You can object > blend > Expand to have real paths if you wish.

• Connect multiple files / different file path

  I need to be reprinted several files from an imported XML, they live in a different file path when the XML was created. I select several files and choose repeat the link. I repeat the first file I was waiting for the rest of them be reprinted automatically, but that was not the case even if I "recreate a link to other automatically" selected.  What I am doing wrong? can I change the path to global for all the clips so I can't connect one at a time?

  recreate one link to others can automatically only to find files in a folder/location at a time. so according to the number of files you have to different media, you can a few extra steps.  There are some types of media with subfolders, re-edit the link cannot just pick up. they need by selecting each item one by one, although adobe says that these are the supported formats, questions like these are always present.

  According to the layout structure and the file used in the XML, an alternative, you can try would be to modify the XML. make a copy and use a program such as notepad ++ and replace his command. You can tell him what to find (former location of folder) and what he must be replaced by (the new location of the folder) and have it change all these at the same time. you could even have it changes just part of the path to the location of the folder if you have the same files as the original xml, but only in a different location.  I did not myself, but should work.

I am trying to create an animation of a border of circles forming that is thus to be invisible (0 degrees) and revolving around itself until it is fully visible (360 degrees). I've been playing with a clipping mask, but nothing helped. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  You can go there. There was an announcement from Apple I was trying to reproduce in HTML5, so there are a lot of different shapes and things are going on here, but you can find the circle in the symbols Panel.

  If 1 host sees 12 channels and the other sees 8, something about them is not configured identically.

  Without a lot more info on your Setup, this might be a ton of stuff...

  Check your masking, zoning, cables, etc.
