circle following the path

Screen Shot 2015-12-13 at 20.38.10.png

Hi guys,.

I need to create a form of circle, distributed along the path, similar to that on the attached screenshot. I created using the envelope distort/make with Warp effect, but I noticed a small distortion of the shape of circle.

What would be the best approach in the alignment of objects along a curved path?

Thank you

Simply create a dotted line...

I'm racking my brains and I do not remember if CS6 version will allow me to indicate a Null value to a track of forms of mask?

So then maybe a path > on > how > please?

If the solid with the elliptical mask is the same resolution H & V & NOMINAL as the model, you can copy the mask and paste it into the position property of the null value.

  • Art brush not following the path

I have an art brush I created to achieve an offset on an open path.  In some place the brush does not follow the path.  I have attached a picture.  The thin pink line is the actual path.  The thicker pink line is the art brush I created for the offset.  You can see at the top of the image of what the style is supposed to look like.  Once the road starts to bend down, the path and the brush out of alignment.  I tried to add points, which works on other types of brushes, but doesn't seem to work on artistic forms.

Can any ideas on how I fix?  Thank you.

It sounds like you did not have a suitable model brush. You must be particularly careful. Basically, it should look like this. I left the invisible lines in it. You don't need them, but you need the invisible rectanlge around each element (emphasis on purple items):

  • Windows Search find files but the mistakes of some of them, which are open normally when it is accessed to follow the path of the error opening

My client uses Windows Search to help track the files in a fairly large groups. Indexing and everything seem to work very well, but when the user performs a search, it returns the information that are expected, but when you click on some of the files that it generates this error:

"Cannot find 'file:///s:/XXXXX/XXXXXX.pdf'. "Make sure that Internet address or pat is correct.

(where XXXX/XXXX are the path and name, of course. It varies and is not a specific place, or all in the same places is originally the same error)

Varies depending on the issue and the only consistency I've found is than that error all tend to share the same name of 'Owner' and those who work divides different. Yet once again, the 'owners' vary. When browsing directly on the elements, following the exact path in error, the files open fine. In our case, 's:' is a mapped network share, but which seem to be the question either, as the other files in the search located on the same mapped share and in the same directory path work very well.

To make it even more confusing, the search of all works perfectly on another computer. All users have the same access right, reading/writing/execution, in the cases in question. The file doesn't seem to be open and in-use by other users.

The system in question is running Windows XP Professional SP3 and is connected to a domain active directory running Windows Server 2003. We have tried to do, and it did not help.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance for anything that can help you!

  • Solid and sketched movement Null follow the same path, but in different places.

I'm editing on After Effects cs6. First, I will describe two situations and what I 'm able to do it, then I will explain what is the heart of the problem.

First situation: when you use 'motion tracker', I'm going to "Change the target" of a null I titled 'Tracker '. As you know, this will allow my null to track movement on caterpillars and synchronization with the movement of my video. It worked well.

Second situation: Let's say I have a white canvas and simply stick to a null value. I take this null and draw a few sketches everywhere motion that I love. Then I take a solid. I have an effect as an 'Individual' to this massive. Now, if I take the "XY Position" of this effect and make a selector to the position of my movement sketched null, the effect will now follow the path that I have outlined. It worked as well.

My problem: I tried to combine the two situations above, in order to get my movement sketched special effect for synchronization with the video track. I tried this by first taking of null value "Tracker" my goal for motion tracking (1st situation). Then I sketched movement a 2nd null. I pick whipped this 2nd null for "Tracker" and the sketch to synchronize with my video successfully obtained.

HOWEVER, once I tried a particular effect with the path of my sketch of movement of synchronization (2nd case), I found what happens: my particular effect was indeed following the path of my movement sketched null, but it was displayed in the upper left corner of my screen, WAY OFF from where my movement sketched null has been placed in fact. So sketched movement null and the special effect were both the same way, but not in the same place.

My question: How can I synchronize my effect go exactly where I want it (with a null value of movement sketched) and still get it to follow along with my video? I know it's difficult to describe without showing it directly in person, but I hope it's a simple question that has a simple answer with him.

    Mylenium

As described in my first post: when pick - whip sketched movement Null Null in Tracker, following the path outlined particular effect, but was suddenly moved to another point in the frame.

However, there was a simple solution to this problem after all. For those who are interested, once the setting of Position XY of the particular effect pick-whipped in the movement sketched Null, not NOT-selector of the said Null value Null of Tracker. Instead, pick - whip solid [which has the particular effect] on the Tracker Null toured and everything is aligned.

    But thanks for the idea!

  • Help - brush do not align to the path?

Hello everyone, I had a strange problem with the help of a brush to draw a path. The goal is to have the bar to follow the path around the circle on the photo as seen outside most circle. (Image below) I created the brush by 3 boxes (an orange, a gray and a vacuum) while doing an art brush and asks the way of the circle. As you can see the work of the first and third brush as expected but the other is just the line at the beginning of the vertical trajectory?  I did some tests and the problem is the special brush, not the path of the circle, and he has popped up in similar graphics.

Any idea what could be the problem? Or perhaps a more reliable method to make an image like that?

    Thank you.

The only way to do that is to go Type > convert to shape.

Then use select it and the tools direct Selection to select just a letter, then Ctrl to turn this letter.  More work, but you get a perfect state of cleanliness, always vector, object.

  • match the keyframes when you paste the path

    Hi all

I'm trying to figure out how to copy a path (mask) in the thickness of a line.  The race follows the path.

I have two channels on a single layer. I apply a line on one of the layers by using a path, then move the race via the 'end' stopwatch and use percent complete.

I have two paths on the layer, they are sequential.

On a layer above the layer with the strokes and the railways (masks), I have a small blue ball which

I want to follow the paths that I created and move in harmony with the race.

I copy the paths of keyframes in the position of the blue ball, but the position of the ball

does not match the position of the race, at least in terms of timing. I would like the stroke and the ball to move

at the same speed and position, as the 'balloon' preparing the white race.

I am confused on how to get this to work - I think it has to do with the keyframe time vs. position keyframes.

    any ideas on that?

    Thank you

    eholz1 (eric)

Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop

If the timing is your only problem, just open the position property and look at keyframes. There should be a diamond in the form of key at each end with a bunch of small round between the two keyframes. Between the two keyframes are set in cahoots with time. All you have to do is drag the keyframe to the left where it matches the keyframe at the end of your race. Things must match perfectly.

If you need to vary the speed of the race, you will need to adjust the position of the round little in position keyframes so that they match. This changes the keyframes move you and it takes a bit of trial and error.

  • Navigation menu that follows the mouse?

Hi, I do flash for awhile, but I was never good at coding. I'm doing a navigation bar for a Web site that follows the path of a mouse. Some examples are below:

    http://Apycom.com/menus/4-gray.html

    http://Apycom.com/menus/1-Dim-gray.html

I'm looking to create something similar, but instead of having a bar to slide through, I think I want an animated mask.

I want to put a background image default behind the text of the buttons and a mask which vanishes ontop of the background layer, but behind the text. For those who do not understand... Imagine a flashlight being pointed on a wall in a completely dark room. The circular light source illuminates in the background.

Different in the examples above, I need to understand how scrupulously the mouse, instead of jumping to the next key automatically?

I also suck at masks, but I'll be able to look that up. They are animatable, or should I use a layer which is semi transparent in a circular area?

Please, someone help me with this! A quick example, nondetailed, or explanation on how to proceed would be much apreciated!

  • Element to follow the trajectory of a circle

Is it possible that I can have something follow the circumference of a circle without having to manually add anchor points and adjust Bezier curves? Thank you.

    Hello

With the help of a path to make a circular animation pretty much means plenty of work with anchor points and Bezier curves - a simpler way is to use the transform tool to drag the point of origin of the element on and then add a rotation of the element animation.

  • Follow the circle with overlay

    Hello

I have a few messy data a camera. It's a pattern of concentric circles that changes with the times - each ring splits into two, each of these components of movement away form between them. I want to set up a set of these rings.

Someone could point me in the right direction or have any advice for a strategy game start? I thought I could use the superposition of the ring the user select a set of rings, and then somehow have the overlay 'follow' the data he was moving (easy or hard?).

I removed the components of acquisition IMAQ and took a series of images, load them into a loop to try to show the effect as an animation (vi and associated data).

    Any help would be appreciated.

    I watched this example: http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/Fit-2D-data-in-to-Circle/td-p/668858/page/2?view=by_date_ascending
who can be of some use if I manipulate data, but is it the right way to go?

And have tried to use machine vision-> analytic geometry-> control 'IMAQ made circle 2', but there is no example vi or tutorial for this control (or most of the other tools of analytic geometry).

so not sure exactly how it works.

    Thank you

I'd probably watch the line profile.  If it is noisy or has spots, you might on average several radial lines (up, down, left, right) to get more consistent data.

Ridge detection would probably find the part the clearest of each circle and could find maximums the.  You could treat these to find what you are looking for.  Two very close circles would probably be identified as a single peak.  Looking at the data would be the first step.

You can use overlays draw the circles located on the original image.  This would help you to know if you followed them correctly.

  • How to follow a path of Windows 7 for %userprofile\AppData\Local and delete the Cache.db icon?

It is the last step in setting my cache so I can fix a problem with the download of adobe reader software.

I'm not entirely sure what are the instructions you follow, but I see that you are missing a % in the path of the file you posted. It would be:

    % userprofile%\AppData\Local

In fact, you can do this easier than ever. The Local folder is accessible simply with %LocalAppData%
