animated transitions (After effects workflow cp8)

So I have a PNG of a photoshop project, I created, I use that as my title of Cp8 slide put a button under the word 'Start' which takes me to slide 2.

Slide 2 is actually a .f4v video created in After Effects, without the skin, with all the elements (text, graphics) of the .png animation off-screen. Slide 1 slide 2 are exactly the same, so when the transitions (fixed image) s1 to s2 (video) it should be transparent.

However, the screen turns white for about a second when you click on the button 'Start '. How to stop this 'leap' and get a nice transition seamless?Screen Shot 2016-05-26 at 14.03.36.png

Action button (under the word 'Start') is continuous. Why the discrepancy between the two slide 1 and slide 2. I spent all day on it, reinstalled Cp8, was on the phone to Adobe... aaaaaaaaaarrrrggggh if anyone can help me solve what they can marry my sister!

Insert the video as the video synchronized several slide

Select the option of extending the duration of the slide to accommodate the video

Change the following line in your AdobeCaptivate.ini found here: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 8 x 64

UseWidget7 = 1

Put the button on top of the video and set the pause button at the beginning of the video.

Set the action to continue.

  • Animation in After Effects with videos

During the animation in After Effects, instead use a background Uni, can I use a video as a background and play as the character moves? I don't see why it wouldn't work. I've seen people question about animation Flash ect and the development, but I need to animate in the AF. I hope someone can help out me!

There are several ways to create a die animation between Photoshop and After Effects.

    Here are two simple methods:

    1. create a platform of character parts in photoshop (head, torso, branches) on separate layers.  Later, import those into a project and animate as individual layers.

2 animate in PHOTOSHOP. If you animate traditionally by the drawing of each image in Photoshop, make sure that you start on an empty layer (not a background merged/flattened).  You can then import the photoshop document as if it were a movie, but still have the ability to change it.

  • rendering of 3D animations in After Effects?

So I use Blender to render 3D images that can take forever depending on the samples with the engine cycles. Basically, I wonder if I can import templates 3D and then create an animation using those, and if after effects will make more effectively or even not at all.

    specifications are:

    CPU: i7 4770 k @ 3.8 GHz

    GPU: GTX 780

    RAM: 16 GB DDR3

C4D Lite lets you import 3d models and render in AE, but if you want a really fast rendering engine, try a third party plugin such as element or 3D Invigorator.

  • In and out of After Effects workflow

I'm just starting to learn how to use after effects CC, with the help of the associated Adobe "Classroom In A Book" to help me get started.  Of course, I can't wait to start using AE myself with my own projects, but this raised a question I can't find the answer to.

First, apologies if I posted in the wrong forum, I target the AE forum because it's where I stuck and therefore the question.  Basically, it's global workflow. Before I ever used After Effects, I would like to organize my video clips and do whatever he had to completely within Premiere Pro. In the end, my Premiere Pro project finished would be exported outside Media Encoder and the work done!

If I'm working on a clip in Premiere Pro that I feel needs work done to it in After Effects, I stop work in Premiere Pro and work on this video in After Effects, bringing back the clip ended up in Premiere Pro?  Can I complete my project in Premiere Pro and import the video finished in After Effects, resumption of work on the sections of the finished video in need?

Wise, I'm not sure how to follow the workflow process.  I work always in advance what I want my video (finished) to be, and when I was working with Premiere Pro, it's pretty simple. I know earlier how effectively when After Effects becomes cause.

    Any advice is welcome.

As Mylenium said, you are essentially working on your effects shots the effects of way shots were always worked on. Since the time of Georges Méliès and other pioneers of the film industry, you change the hardware, you need to create your first Cup or a rough cut of your film, then you decide what plans or sequences needing effects, then you send these shots for the Department of the effects for them to work on it. Only the tools have changed. What was initially a couple rewinds, a viewer and a connection block became the NLE. Animators, matte painters and effects special departments have been changed to the composition and movement of graphic products such as AE and Nuke. The workflow, has not changed. Beginners usually gum up the workflow and work not as effectively as they could, but an effective production process is always the same. Script, plan, program, repeat, block, pull, rough cut, add special effects, refine the cut, make the final mix, make the final color of ranking and make the film.

For simple effects, you can use dynamic links to simplify the move your effects of AE work and back to Premiere Pro, but I recommend any drawn effect that requires more than a half hour to complete to be returned and replaced the images in AE by your rendering. Be sure to include enough handles on your effects shots so you can refine the editing for final assembly.

  • png text animation in After effects

I have a logo of a company I wanted to animate to appear as if the script is written. There is a .psd file I imported all the layer containing the letters I want to animate. I tried used STROKE and a tool of the pen in an attempt to create a path that I want to wrote the text, but I think I'm doing something wrong. I confess to not being too familiar with how to do this in After Effects, but I'm on a deadline with the customer and need advice. Can anyone help? Here's the .png file, I created since the .psd.Sand Castle Logo.png

You will encounter problems with crisscross lines that need to be addressed by splitting the layer when the race goes through intersections. The technique is relatively simple. More your text and lines more overlapping, you have time eating is.

First add your text layer to the timeline (from the PNG you provided is too much.) You could crop so it was exactly the size of the text), and then add a solid red to the model and set the blending mode to screen. You will be able to see the text through solid matter. Now with the pen tool carefully trace a mask on the layer of text path. Once the complete trace add Strokes to the solid layer and adjust the width of the line to make it wide enough the entire text. Animate the in or out point so that the footsteps of hit on the text, and then set the line on transparent. Now use the STROKE layer as a track matte for the text layer. As the line reveals the text there will be places where it crosses the lines of text and spoils the effect. At each crossing point, you need to add a mask to cover the intersections. I do everything by rubbing through the timeline and make my masks just big enough to cover the spoiled intersections. You set the masks to subtract or check the invert box. When you are finished, you will have a bunch of holes in your text layer. Here is how you fix this.

Scrub through the timeline until the race arrives at the first mask. Select the text layer and the matte, and then press Ctrl/Cmnd + Shift + D to divide the layer. Move to the front of an image and remove the mask which is at the origin of the hole. Go forward until the line appears across the hole, divide the layer and remove the mask caused the hole. Repeat until you have all problems solved.

Here's a start to the project using your supplied PNG file. I made the first crossing a few for you so you can see how it's done. I drew only a few masks on the text. You will have to do the rest. One last thing, you will see an additional path on the track matte layer which does not cover anything. This race is here to give time to the pen to move from the first mask on the S to the following letters. Setting the length of this race is an easier way to fine-tune the time to animate the end point of the race.  Enjoy.

A note more, I probably would have just used a text layer in AE for this work. There is nothing special about the PNG file that couldn't have been done more efficiently with a text layer.

  • (Urgent) Stop Motion Animation in After Effects?

It IS URGENT I need to make a request to stop in a series of photos that I took, but I need a simple way to do this instead of having to individually make drag and edit the shots. Is there anyway that you can import a serise of shots like a sequence or something? Or y at - it another Adobe software that is good for the stop motion? Thank you

You ask about the import of a series of images as a sequence of still images.

  • Best After Effects - Premiere Pro workflow

    Hello world

I want to create more videos like this:

Essen Motor Show 2014 Highlights - YouTube

The difficult thing is to synchronize the video with the music.

The best way to do it is when I use Premiere Pro. I'll put markers and drag-and - drop the footages to the markers and I'm done.

BUT: I want to insert cool transition effects and other things for the final film. This is the point when Premiere Pro is not the right choice.

    What I did until today:
I created a model for each single report and correct colors. Then, I created a "Film Final" composition and drag all the unique compositions in this model "the definitive film.

I inserted the sound file und adjust the compositions of the music video. I've always had to hold down the Ctrl key to hear what is on the way of the music.

This is a really complicated in After Effects workflow.

I would like to have the Premiere Pro compfortability with respect to the correction of color and adjustment-music-video and the benefits of After Effects to make cool transitions and other effects.

Is there anyone out there who knows a best workflow?

    Greetings,
    Daniel

  • After effects exported in Adobe Animator? How?

    Hello

I'm doing a text animation. It is easier to do animation in After Effects.

I want to use the animation on Muse so I made a png sequence and transformed the After Effects in a sequence of images on Photoshop. Then tried to shoot this sequence in a gif file that has not really loaded. (Perhaps too long) (Animation of 30 seconds)

From what I've read online, it seems that I should have done this animation on the host as it's more user-friendly web. But for example the typewriter effect is not available on host Adobe.

    Any help would be appreciated

Is the only way to battle through on the host? I can get some of the after effects effects and drag em over host.  After Effects directly to Muse seems difficult.

    Thank you very much

    Harry

After Effects export video. So the only way to get something of the AE to animate is as a video file. It's probably not ideal.

  • Dynamic link to After Effects compositions does not import correctly

    Hello

I have a project file that will be published in first, with the titles + animations from After Effects.

Now, title animations are not final yet, so I thought to dynamic linking.

Now I import my compositions in the first sequels, all goes well, but when I would drag them into my sequence (they have the same framerate/size/etc).

The first will. But when I try a second, the audio doesn't do... The video will simply not drag into it.

Now the strangest part: When enabled alltogether and dragged in sequence, they all without problem. But even once, when you try to add a new, I can't, as the audio.

No idea what I could do wrong here?

    Thanks for your suggestion.

I have draggend my .aep to "automate to sequence", dragged all my other files into it: and it works. I can still add new dynamic links if I want to.

I have no idea what I was wrong, but it works...

    Thanks in any case!

  • Adobe Flash and After Effects

I want to create a 2D animation using Adobe Flash, but I also want to do special effects in the background, like the twinkling stars or some effects of blur or other 3D effects. Is there a formal systematic way to incorporate a Flash animation in After Effect?

Just make the background layer in AF remember to match the frame rate and import into Flash.

  • Blinking of the eyes in the After Effects

    Hello!

I'm working on my very first video animation in After Effects output. I have a vector image of a person and I want him to blink frequently throughout the video.

I will create several different versions of the eyes (completely open, that half way open, closed etc) and then place each of these images next to each other in the timeline to create the effect.

But... I should probably do this hundreds of times throughout the video and am looking for a quicker way. Is it possible to attach the different images of the eyes to a cursor and the cursor key image? I think that would speed up the process that I just can't understand how do.

If someone could help me it would be greatly appreciated. Here is a picture of the vector, I work with.

  • First CC can make After Effects files

8 64-bit Windows, card graphics NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 (3 GB), 32 GB of RAM, Intel i7 processor

Earlier today, I was change to a 13-minute film. It has a few After Effects animation stills. Everything was going well until I made a few adjustments for animations in After Effects. BIG MISTAKE. Now, the files don't make first, even if they did last week. The changes were minor. I tried to empty the cache for the Premiere and After Effects, uninstalled and reinstalled both programs. No change. I tried to create a new timeline and import the sequence above, but now one of the files in the panel mounting AE said "Media disconnected" even if I made any changes to it. This ONLY happens with projects containing these AE files. I tried messing around with other projects and the first works very well. I can change the animations in After Effects, fine, but first makes. It freezes or crashes every time. For some reason, he began to spoil once I edited the AE files this morning and I have no idea why because is not the first wave of changes I've done for them. Premiere and After Effects are updated, as it's my graphics card driver.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you, Jim and Greg for the help so far. I think that I managed to fix on my own. I worked with 4 animations After Effects at very high resolutions (because the film had to zoom and Pan). I was able to make 3 of them in .avi files, but the 4th was too damaged. After effects has crashed every time, so I recreated the composition of a new still. It worked, and I made this clip in an .avi file as well. After I managed to remove the first Pro After Effects sequence, first stopped crashing. I have imported the .avi files and was able to modify and make it again. I can only assume first was having too much with the original files of AE, either because they were too big, corrupt, or both. Still don't know what happened when I edited the Monday morning, but fortunately I managed to work around it.

  • Flash & Premiere Pro or After effects?

Looking for advice, I'm a graphic designer without formal training in the animation.  I got a job that I just can't pass up.

It's a great opportunity for me to learn animation.  I need to create a cartoon mascot who will be in an environment, which will be as lively.

It will be animated for presentation, seminars on site, youtube, and webinars.  Will be also transferred to a flash to distribute.

I would also like to make the effects of text/information, as well as to animate on the web.

I'm trying to choose a product from Adobe which will help me to achieve this goal, did some research and was interested in it, just do not know which product to use.

I like what I see so far on the Ae, but when I called Adobe they said Flash & Premiere Pro.

I'm currently learning web design, it would be better for me to learn a program for making a presentation with creative, for videos and web effects.

I have heard all different things about flash on the web,

and I really didn't need to get in a tangle mess of change and to import files for animation on the web.

Is the right product for me to learn Ae?  or Flash & Premiere Pro?

I have CS6 Masters collection.  I want to achevive presentation and cartoon 2D with the same program,

on all platforms for the web would be nice too.

I need to make a decision because I need to educate myself to achieve a creative presentation.

Any suggestions on which program to start out with would be wonderful too!

Presentation of the seminar, videos youtube, email and webinar, a program to learn... is this possible?

Your help on this issue is SO appreciated!

Flash Professional is used for cartoon animation a lot, especially when you use vector graphics and the creation of output for the web.

After Effects can be used for character animation, too.

  • Premiere Pro CS6 vs After Effects CS6

I would like to know which of these programs would be better for me.   I shot with my Canon Vixia HFS 20 HD camcorder.  I have a studio decent green screen set in place in my basement.  I currently use Corel VideoStudio Pro X 3 and I'm not happy with the chroma poor main features there.  Is the key Chroma identical or similar on these two programs?  I'd rather spend less for Premiere Pro unless there is some really cool stuff in After Effects that would make the extra cost is worth it.

I just bought a desktop computer new Dell XPS 8500 with a processor Core i7, 12 GB of RAM, Nvidia GeForce GT 640 1 GB GDDR5, power 460 watts, Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit and a 2 TB hard drive.  I just installed a WD Black 2 TB internal second hard drive.  I would be willing to update the graphics card or RAM if it would make a noticeable difference.

I really want good advice on what to buy and suggestions for improvements of the computer if necessary.

    Dan Hauck

Both programs have good chroma keying. In Premiere Pro, it's Ultra key and in After Effects, it is Keylight. Both work very well.

I'd be inclined to direct you to a video - Premiere Pro - rather than a program of special effects - After Effects Editor - if you get only one.

However, if you are happy editing with Corel, After Effects may be the way to go. You do not get integration, you have between Premiere Pro and after effects, but you can still enter and create headlines and animation in After Effects and then assemble the change in Corel. Or try using a free editor like Lightworks. Still not as good, but free is free.
