• How do you get the text in the top line of the table to stop forcing text format the same way in the row below.

  I created a table with two rows. I would like the text in the top line is centered and the text in the line below that is aligned to the left. I have no problem when no list (chips) are involved. However, this week, the client has a list of items that have bullets.

  The first highlighted line gives a 80px for the top and bottom padding; the second applies to a height of 160px at the foot of page. Change these values accordingly.

  I just took Captivate 8!

  In my first draft, I have created a new slide and have added about 40 seconds of audio narration on the slide.

  I've added several legends of text on the slide and then used the timeline so that each ball appears in the appropriate location in the audio.

  When I "play" the timeline by pressing the icon of reading the SCRIPT, narration and captions are perfectly synchronized.

  However, when I choose one of the options "PREVIEW", while the narrative plays perfectly, no subheadings (other than the first) never appear.

  What I am doing wrong?

  You probably have a box click, button, text entry area or a smart shape configured as a button on the slide. Each of them is paused playback.

• HP all-in-one C310 printer prints the first line of text from the top of the page

  My printer worked fine for 2 years, then suddenly this week... the first printing line is missing! The first line of any text is printed only on the top of the book and at the bottom of the sheet, there is a gap between the last line of the text and the bottom of the paper. I.e. the printed text is not aligned to the Center vertically on the paper. I tried to shift from the printer and also restart the PC, but is always the same. She's also from any source print - Word or IE for example. I checked all the options of the printer and the settings of applications - everything seems OK and everything said A4 paper for example. What could be the cause of this please? I'm in Windows 8.

• Problem of positioning of text at the top of a block of text

  I've had this problem for a long time with InDesign and I am finally at the point of duty to sort (in lieu of the creative solutions of non-parfait).

  For some reason, in some of my frames of text, I can't get the first line of text to be positioned just above.  Here is an example.  It's the strangest thing. In an exercise, it is fine (using the same paragraph style). In the next exercise, sits lower.  I can't sort. At one point, I thought that it was my choice to police, but this seems not to be.

  Any ideas?

  Just to check what is evident first of all, you have the text aligned to the top of the box?  Select the text box and go object > Options of text block and under the control of the Vertical alignment, he says 'Top '.

  Then, the text does not have a vertical offset applied?  It's the little box in your control panel that looks like this:

• Objects with delayed timing do not appear when I preview and publish

  I am using Captivate 5, student edition.

  When I add an object (text caption, button) and I put 'see appear after seconds _' the object do not appear when I saw my project or when I publish it. Thus, for example, I bulleted, each element of his own text caption, and I each a figure as he is mentioned in the audio. • Where the icons 'Preview' and 'publish '?

  Sorry for the novice question... but I just upgraded to C5, and I can't find these functions anywhere, except for the "file" menu I looked through the various toolbars and window choices and still can not find them.

  HA! It's actually more complicated than I thought. Captivate 5 changes in the way that its menus are arranged in different widths. If you are there on 934px or below, you will see the icons in the title bar and the menu file/Edit/View (etc.) under (here, in Win7):

  

  But, if you go just a pixel or two wide, menus from the file/edit/view jump up to the title bar, pushing the icons who were there left. Here it is again, about 940px wide:

  

  So there is a gap between the more or less 934px and the 1110px (or whatever it is, I posted earlier) where the buttons are hidden. And, I would say that a bug, if a minor.

  I have an InDesign Document with a handful of images and text on the top or near the images. This should be so simple, but for some reason, I keep having this problem. There is no build-up on the given word and I can't place any text on one of the images. All the settings for all of the images in this scenario are the same. I'm fine with everything else but this one...

  I don't see any boxes hidden or anything else for that matter. I've recreated text boxes and still have the same problem it appears then disappears or I can get only part of the Word visible on the image, then a + sign comes... It should work please help. I tried to recrete this particular image and word a handful of times its just not the text box woking sometimes added a sign which does no sense, I tried a different text alignment so +...
