Annotation of PDF tools in a Tablet application

I want to convert a Powerpoint presentation to PDF and then publish this using DPS and then have the normal PDF annotation tools available in the app. Can someone help please and explain how we can do this?

As far as I KNOW, this is not possible. You will have what they download the PDF and use the drive for this.

That said, if you intend to do as a simple editing application it will probably get rejected by Apple as not being is not an app.

    Hello

    1. when the question is is produced?

    2. you remember of any change to your computer before the problem?

    3. are you using a 32-bit operating system or a 64-bit?

    Please visit: What are the information in the event logs? (Event Viewer)

    In the meantime, follow these steps and check if they help.

    Step 1:

    I suggest you install the Visual C ++ 2005 Sp1 Runtime and check if the problem persists:

    Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package (x 86)

    Step 2:

    If this does not resolve the issue, I would have you done SFC scan on your machine to check if the problem is related to missing or corrupted system files.

    Hi chbradshaw,

    Instead of filling & signature, tool, use the text comment comment tool, KB doc option. using comments in the PDF, Adobe Acrobat DC files (keyword: Add a text comment).

  • Debugging of PDF tools?

    Is there pdf 'debug' tools available and so, what are they called?

    When you try to generate PDF files from scratch, it is sometimes a bit of work to try to understand the problem, if there is something wrong with the file.

    Acrobat will usually just say this file has errors and that it cannot be opened. GSview (http://pages.cs.wisc.edu/~ghost/gsview/) will give a little more information that might help a LITTLE, but not much.

    I also tried PDF "analyzers" like for example PDF Vole (http://java.net/projects/pdfvole), which of course gives you an overview of the structure of the document, but not this very useful when trying to find an error in the file.

    Can someone suggest a good program to find errors in a PDF file, if such a program exists?

    Thank you very much in advance!

    Managed to find a few "validators" pdf which seems to do the job.

    For example, http://www.pdf-tools.com/pdf/validate-pdfa-online.aspx is a free online validator. And even if it is actually a PDF/A validator, it's awesome in my debugging PDF files!

  • transfer documents of pdf WITH COMMENTS of tablet PCs

    How can I copy my documents commented on tablets (Samsung) on PC?

    I have a big pdf documents (300 MB and more). When I first open it with the application Adobe Acrobat DC, the application makes a copy, because the original document is write protected. I work with this copy. Now, I finished work (comments, underscore, etc.) and I want to copy this document (the one with my comments) on my pc.

    With the old version, it was very easy using windows Explorer, but now the application does not show this document. The only way I can find to be transferred is Uploader on the box, but is extremely slow and uncomfortable. Are there really no other way than to use clouds or dropbox to transfer?

    Hi christian1883 ,

    You can connect the tablet to the pc via a USB cable and then search for the file in the Explorer of files on PC and copy it to the desktop. You can also share files via Bluetooth.

    Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you

  • Search PDFs on my android Tablet

    Search for PDFs on my Tablet android (Samsung) is frustrating. They are buried in a variety of locations, which no only I have chosen or created. Any ideas?

    Adobe Acrobat Reader allows indexing of your PDF files using which you can find your PDF files easily. When you go to the 'Local' tab in your application, it lists all the PDF files available on your device. You can either watch your file in the list or he could search if you know the name, using the research available on the top bar icon. In addition, once you open a file, it is available in the 'Récent' tab for quick access. Please let us know if you want to see some improvements in the same.

    Thank you.

  • Cannot open PDF files on surface tablet on the network.

    As the title suggests, our shelves are not on the field but can connect to our wireless staff and through our portal to access their network drives. When you select a PDF file in this way, it opens and asks you to choose an application on the tablet to open it with. I can't find Adobe Reader in option - although I put it as default program for the file type in the control panel.

    Has anyone else had a similar experience?

    Concerning

    Scott

    It seems that this is indeed a problem with our cisco portal based and his inability to manage the long filenames correctly - it renames them and creates a temporary file, which is throwing the drive when trying to read them. Hope this is perhaps out of use to someone.

  • Suddenly a double click on a PDF document opens the Acrobat application, but the document does not load.

    Until today, I had no problem opening a PDF document that I've saved by double-clicking it. Now when I do that, my Acrobat application opens, but the PDF document does not work. I need to use the file / open to select the document that I want to see, or I need to the mouse click on the PDF to the right and choose 'open with '. I had this once before and I had help to solve them, but I use Acrobat 7 Professional and since it is not supported, I can't help when I call Support.

    Sounds like a Windows problem. Try right-clicking and select ALWAYS open with feature. Who is supposed to fix the link. If this does not work, open the type of file under TOOLS menu > Folder Options (display XP, can be different in VISTA). If you select advanced as PDF, you get a link under the open > modify something like "c:\adobeapp\acrobat 5.0\Acrobat\Acrobat.exe" '%1 '. The comment you make looks like %1 or quotes are missing. • Quick question from a newbie... Can I use an API of the Adobe Reader to open and fill out a PDF form to my MFC application?

    Hello people.

    If I'm in the wrong forum, might well want to suggest a more appropriate forum?

    It is a pretty basic question.

    I downloaded the SDK and watched, but I'm still a little uncertain. Simply because there is a ton of information to this site, and it's all new to me.

    I have a Visual Studio MFC application. (Visual Studio 2008)

    I want to change the application to read a PDF form to fill out, and I want to programmatially fill in some of the data in the field as it appears on the screen. This could be considered writing a PDF file, but I think it's only complete, because I can do this with Acrobat Reader. I assume that there is an API available to do this.

    I saw something on IAC, then maybe that where I need to study.

    I'm the developer. I need to buy Adobe Acrobat? Or is the right drive for this?

    My customers will need to purchase Adobe Acrobat? Or the drive will be enough?

    It's one thing for me as a developer to buy the tool to improve enforcement, but another question, if I go to the end users and tell them that they need to buy and install Adobe Acrobat.

    I'm not afraid to have a discussion, I just want to know ahead what debate, I need to have.

    Are there different APIs available for different Windows OS? One for XP for Vista 32-bit, one for Vista 64-bit, for Windows 7... etc.

    Or is this the same way, regardless of the platform?

    I'm looking for advice.

    All would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    The only way to fill a form in Adobe Reader is to use the file in FDF or XFDF format.   They are text-based formats that you can put the form data and a link to the PDF document in and then ask the REader to open it (and the associated PDF file) upwards and fill automatically.

    You can't poll drive for more information, however.

    I try to open a PDF file of my Android app on a phone BB10 Z10 (10.2.1).

    He intended me to use 'File Viewer' with adobereader logo, but nothing happen when I click on it.

    I tried to put files on different storage and directory, but I have the same problem with no error:

    Public warehousing

    public static String getDefaultPath() {
            return Environment.getExternalStoragePublicDirectory(Environment.DIRECTORY_DOWNLOADS).getAbsolutePath()+"/";
    }

    And internal storage:

    public static String getDefaultPath() {
            return context.getFilesDir().getAbsolutePath()+"/";
    }

    File file = new File(path);
    if (file.exists()) {

        try {
            Toast.makeText(context, "Trying to open " +path+" => "+ file.getName(), Toast.LENGTH_LONG).show();

            Uri fileUri = Uri.fromFile(file);
            Intent i = new Intent(Intent.ACTION_VIEW);
            i.setData(fileUri);
            i.setType("application/pdf");
             i.setFlags(Intent.FLAG_ACTIVITY_CLEAR_TOP);
            context.startActivity(i);

            Logger.getInstance().LogException(e);
            Toast.makeText(context, "Unable to pen file..." + e.getMessage() + " " + e.getClass().getName(), Toast.LENGTH_LONG).show();

        }
    } else {
        Toast.makeText(context, "File not found..." + file.getName(), Toast.LENGTH_LONG).show();

    }

    I do not see my camera in DDMS, there is nothing, how can I debug to check if the system returns me an error when I try to open the pdf?

    Thanks for your help!

    Best,

    Ricken

    I solved my problem.

    There were actually two problems, the first is I have to use public storage for adobereader is able to access my pdf file, so I solved it by copying pdf to dir public cache before opening it and then I can keep all other protected files.

    The other problem is rather strange and seems to be a bug, I replaced:

    i.setData(fileUri);
    i.setType("application/pdf");
    i.setFlags(Intent.FLAG_ACTIVITY_CLEAR_TOP);

    with a little:

    i.setDataAndType(fileUri, "application/pdf");

    And now the pdf file is successfully opened by adobereader

  • Do the radial menu on my Wacom tablet application specific to Photoshop

    I'm looking to customize the Radial Menu on my Tablet Wacom for Photoshop-specific application, but when I click on screen to access my radial menu controls detail all my apps including Photoshop are grayed out.

    Can someone advise please?

    I'm new to the Wacom tablet so please forgive me if there is an easy solution to this

    You can assign panels on an application by application basis. See screenshot below where I created a custom panel and then he attributed to Chrome.

    In this configuration, when Chrome is active, my custom "NewPanel" Panel appears when I press the the ExpressKeys. When I go to Photoshop, the same button is assigned to an different Committee (for example, the default "Radial Menu" Panel that comes with the installation) and when I press the the ExpressKeys appears.

    See all of the buttons at the bottom left of both of our screenshots in the dashboard on the screen? This is where you create, delete, modify, duplicate signs. Just create (or duplicates) a radial-type menu, THEN assign that on the ExpressKeys tab with your app want selected in the request box above in the Wacom dialog box.
