Annoying dotted lines in the browser

Hi all

I use a HTML Dreamweaver layout with links using a style with CSS unordered list. When I click on the dotted yellow link surrounds the box containing the link in Firefox and IE. How can I get rid of the yellow dotted line?

Thank you!

    Hello

I believe that you use Firefox to view the site, as this happens only on firefox.

This is a known problem on their end the selection to the item page remains when we go back to the page.

Details can be found on this link:

    https://developer.Mozilla.org/en-us/docs/tools/Page_Inspector

where it is mentioned that they would be taking off this Firefox 29 go.

Muse we cannot control this, because it is a specific selection of the browser function.

You can see in the image below on the right.  Its a slight white line but when printed on a banner for its stark white.  The line falls just above the last "A" in Alberta.

Thank you guys! I really appreciate your help :-)

Yes, I took out the clipping mask, and then convert the line forms at one track, then used Pathfinder > split clip everything outside the old mask, then I cut the ends of each line with the scissors and removed half of each path. After all that, I applied three different dotted with traits for the different ways to achieve this:

I try just on the new indesign CC, and it gives me rushed boxes around images - usuoally our ads, which are converted into TIFF from the PDF file.

Could someone tell me please how to disable this option?

    Thank you

If you have the latest version of InDesign CC (9.2), someone could apply a hyperlink to the image. By default, a dotted line shows around a chassis of a hyperlink. To turn it off, choose View > Extras > hide hyperlinks.

  • What happened to the ability to hide the "mobile dash" (CTRL/CMD (H) in Photoshop?  I can't see the edges of my selection with the mobile dotted lines in the way!

I used Photoshop since version 2.5 when it came to 16 disks.  In all versions I've bought over the years (many) up to CS3, I've always been able to use CTRL + H (Windows) or CMD + H (Mac) to hide the "mobile dash" edge of the selection.  This is extremely useful when doing all sorts of adjustments where the outline of the selection must be considered while "fiddling with the buttons" (so to speak).  Without being able to hide the limits of selection ("mobile dash"), I often have to get a better idea, cancel the selection, get disgusted that the edge is not what I want, then have to cancel, select new, try again... over and over again.   It is a SIMPLE feature, but the lack of it, driving me crazy.  HELP, I tried, but it doesn't have the height of the promise.  If there is a way to hide the dotted moving line, where is the menu item, and what the shortcut?

You can assign Ctrl/Cmd-H to hide the edges of the selection (Edit > keyboard shortcuts) only, if you want to hide everything, but you will be notified if any other function has the shortcut.

  • How can I get my navigation bar to stay on one line when the browser window is reduced to the minimum?

I am new to coding and that you just created my first website in html and css.  I know that coding is quite disastrous, and I have a lot to learn and I hope someone can guide me in the way to solve this problem.  When the window is minimized, the navigation bar is broken down into 2 or 3 lines but I want the navigation bar to fit the window, regardless of the size of the client machine.

I think I should add a media query, but I don't know if I do and if until the code to use and where to put?

I fear that the page will be visible correctly on a desktop computer and I really want to learn how to make a fluid layout that can be accessed on 320px, 768px and 1200px.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

  • SVG of Illistrator seems well in the programs but the lines appear when in the browser. Why?

Graphic in Illustrator SVG seems to animate, but appears with the lines in the browser. Why?

The reason for white lines is the works of how anti-aliasing. These are the artifacts of smoothing and you can't do much.

For example, you have 2 black rectangles. The left, 5.5 pixel and right stop, we start 5.5.Ideally, you expect both of them to merge and no gap line. But in the browsers of the way this works is, each shape is rendered on its own. The left at 6 gets mixed up on the black with an opacity of 50% and when it renders the right, column 6 again gets mixed wire black one with an opacity of 50%, making it now a black man with an opacity of 75%, so you see these lines. It is the question. You can solve the problem by making things overlap always press the limits of pixels.
