Annoying popup
I want to stop a MSN Pop-up window from appearing everytime I turn on the computer.
.. Unable to install C:\PROGRAM~1\MYWEBS~1\bar\2.bin\M3PLUGIN. DLL
No file of this type is in the result of research on my hard drive. How to remove this redundant warning on a file or an application that I have no need?
Greg
Go in Panel > Add / Remove Programs and remove everything related to my search on the Web .
If that doesn't fix it, use the free Windows Sysinternals Autoruns tool to find and remove the reference to the file.

I want these annoying popups which started after I updated Firefox to stop or I'll go back to IE11
Almost everytime I go to a new screen or Web site I get the pop-up advertisements that are very very annoying and are noisy. I hate them. All the 'help' I can find on your pages help does not solve my problem and there is a bunch of mumbo jumbo that Mozilla apparently placed there to confuse the issue even more. If I can't get a PDQ solution I'll return to IE11.
Sorry, but the ad popups and other does not come with any version of Firefox for any OS from www.mozilla.org.

Hello
The igfxtray.exe seems belongs to the Intel driver and this file belongs to a software for fast access to the control panel via an icon in system tray of graphs based on Intel processors.
Usually, you should see a small display Intel icon in the task bar in the lower right.
The igfxtray.exe controls this.So you can also disable this in msconfig.
Search type msconfig. Then, choose the StarUp tab and choose Remove the mark of the entry containing the igfxtray.exe
Now save the changes and restart the deviceTo disable this popup.

Tecra M5 - annoying popup messages when fails the automatic BT connection to headset
Hello
I use my Bluetooth from Sony headphones to work with my Tecra M5 laptop lately and there is a boring bunch of message that keeps popping up.
In the bluetooth settings, I ticked the box "auto login feature will be validated. This causes the headset to connect automatically and it works a treat.
But, when I bring my laptop home I did more than my helmet with me and about every 5 minutes my laptop keep showing these annoying messages popup at the bottom right of my screen saying the "auto login failed, please ensure that your bluetooth device is turned on etc...". ".
Sometimes it gives me a prompt in the lower right of the screen asking me if I would like to disable the "automatic login" function for headphones.
Is it possible to disable these popup messages annoying when my headphones are not detected, without having to turn off the option "auto-connect"? I want to leave the function "automatic login" enabled so when I get back to work and back on my headset again, it will be always connected automatically.
But when I get home, I wish I could continue to do stuff on my laptop without contstantly being bothered by these electronic popup. If there is some sort of registry setting or something to turn them off, that would be great.
I downloaded and installed the Blueooth battery & Driver Version 6.40
See you soon
Toshiba gave me a beta version of the next Bluetooth stack. There the option you are looking for. Just disable the setting in
"Bluetooth-> Bluetooth-> Options-> Audio settings-> display a message when the device is connected."
So just wait until this version is available for download. -
Validate form - behavior annoying popup box
We have created a couple of contact forms by using the basic form field validation behavior in DW CS3. I know that I could do with the Spry tool, but that is besides the point right now.
The problem I have is that the popup box that informs the user that they must complete in some areas is to appear repeatedly until the user attempts to actually send the form - when simply mousing over the fields in the form on the page. I don't seem to be able to stop it, and the behavior is extremely boring. If it's boring for me, it MUST be annoying for the user, and I feel will send them rushing somewhere else. Please, what have we done wrong?
All your form validation actions are
onmouseover
events, try changing these onClick, onSubmit and onBlur.

Vista: Annoying popup bubble when I press "Ctrl" "Shift"Alt"
Whenever I have press Control, Alt, the Windows key or the SHIFT key, a small yellow bubble appears
in the middle of the screen telling me what button I just pressed. All seems to have started when I installed my Wacom tablet.
but I find no option anywhere to turn off the popup bubble.Help!
Yojimbo-X,
Have you tried to contact Wacom for more information on the characteristics of their device driver and if a popup is tied to it? Are there related to your tablet device Notification area icons, specifically something active while this message?
You said what to do a search for "Tablet PC Input Panel" returned no results.
You do a right click on your taskbar, go to toolbars and check if the Tablet PC Input Panel is listed there? If so open and change the options as previously mentioned.
Regarding the selected items color, change the option in the appearance settings will not produce the result desired in Aero. This is because it is controlled by an image embedded in the msstyle files. Set apart him away from the Vista system, you can explore by using some 3rd themes part.

Restore point:
http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/using-Windows-Vista-system-restore/
Do Safe Mode system restore, if it is impossible to do in Normal Mode.
Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.
Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...
Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.
See you soon.

Fusion 3.1 USB annoying popup
I have a large collection of misc USB devices that I plug in from time to time.
99% of them are for my underlying Mac. What I want to map to the Fusion system, I can by hand.
The popup asking me what I want my affected USB device (Mac or merger) is boring, I want them all mapped to the Mac.
How can I make this default and get rid of the popup?
This 'new' is a bug to me.
There is a configuration option that can can override the default behavior for all devices, explained here:

I started getting pop ups very recently (oct 2015) I went to the Panel and programs a characteristic and class list install by date. At first it was one that I distrusted, maintenance on a hunch and firefox decided to uninstall it. I made the right choice - and how this program type of spyware/adware on my computer.
Hi, there is a legitimate program called Mozilla Maintenance Service, which in your programs, should show the same under Firefox version number - what is the Service of Maintenance Mozilla?. If that's what you mean, it would be not responsible for pop-ups advertising. If it is really "Maintenance of Firefox", then I would have certainly considered with suspicion.
You can check your settings pop up here - the Blocker settings, exceptions, and troubleshooting.
If the problem persists, you can try these free programs to search for malicious software that work with your existing anti-virus software:
- Microsoft safety scanner
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
- Anti-Rootkit utility - TDSSKiller
- AdwCleaner (for more information, see this other AdwCleaner download page)
- Hitman Pro
- ESET Online Scanner
Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP, if you do not already have one. Windows 8 already has integrated antivirus.
