My question is: my iPad Air has been compromised by a scam of viruses, such as the Trojan horse thieves and banking password especially as Dridex or Dyreza, the Trojans and ransomware as Locky, cryptolocker, or Teslacrypt. Simply delete them. It is not possible to install anything on iOS using this method. For good measure, you can remove and reinstall the application allowing you to open it with, but I don't really have that is actually needed.

  • False positive spam: TOTALLY UNTOLERABLE

Posted this 10 days yet and no help?

So tired of good emails end up in the junk e-mail folder.

You mark the emails as being not junk?

If the emails are not grey/navy/red, then your email provider may have marked them as spam, which would explain why the not junk option is not there. Try to go to the e-mail provider's website to see if you can adjust the junk e-mail settings there.

My email has been hacked and used to send Spam. I have to perform a virus check, or simply change the password?

Do not install or run an anti virus app.

How do you know that your email has been "hacked"? It is a common practice for spammers to forge an envoy from the e-mail address. It may be that your email address has been misused. There's nothing to do if this is the case for you. The spammer will soon pass and usurp another email address.

It's a good idea to immediately change your password by email if someone would actually managed to access your e-mail account.

  • Why spam is collected in my outlook but not in thunderbird

Outlook displays email in the spam folder, but these e-mail appear not anywhere in thunderbird

POP email is simply a mechanism to download on the local computer of the Inbox.

IMAP is a synchronized email that synchronizes the mail on the server in the folder with a local client.

My guess is you have correctly identified the Thunderbird as a POP account, it was alll Hotmail provided in a year or two previously, so if you had set up the account for a few years then it will almost certainly POP.

You can configure the account once again as IMAP account in Thunderbird and get all your synchronized folders.

In the toolbar > hover your mouse over the entrance to the new Message, until another menu appears > existing e-mail account

Follow the prompts to assistants to add the account again. Post back before you delete your old account, because that can lead to loss of mail if not done correctly, depending on how it is implemented.

  • Empty header, an empty message, STILL not identified as spam

The most obvious way to identify spam, is if it has a blank subject / to / content. Yet, neither WLM or Thunderbird seem to be able to identify these.

I put a message filter to junk anything less than 1 KB. This filter does not work (see table).

Marking several times these messages as spam, does not trigger the "intuitive" filter to work either.

Is there a solution? There is an add-on that is supposed to learn from your manual removal of messages, but it does not work with the latest version of tuberculosis.

I'm going back to WLM for now, TB does not solve the problem and seems to weigh whenever I open it, for one reason or another.

Very disappointed. Use Firefox and FireFTP for years. TB thought would be good too.

I don't get emails like this. But try

  • to stop multiple spam windows open when I click on a link

All of a sudden when I click on a link all kinds of spam windows open. I have 'Pop-up' windows defined on off... but, they always open... also suddenly online pages will have tons of highlighted words hough, they are links... and when I click on them, thinking that it is a link that's another annoying pop-up window. I checked my "plug-ins" and "add ons" and there is nothing I can find. I use Windows 7 and this problem just started this week. I performed a McAfee scan and found no virus... can help you?

These files are not supposed to be deleted. Quite possibly user.js (thanks for the heads-up jscher2000 on hidden file extensions. A movement bonehead by Microsoft) had a content in it that made all these pop-up windows. The user.js file is not there by default unless you did so it is safe to delete it.

Regarding the .json, those required by Firefox files. More information about the files in the profile folder can be read using the link below

  • Redirects Web pages of spam

I think that the option to block advertising on iOS should work on all browsers, including browsers in app. Please make sure!

I say this because on my iPhone and iPad and the new iPad Pro, web pages have been redirected to spam sites. It happened on Safari, Chrome, and browsers in app. Initially, I thought it was my ISP since initially using VPN seemed to work (I think, I wasn't desperate so for more robust testing). Then I thought it was a router problem, because briefly using another router allow me to display the page rather than redirect the it. But then to change routers has no importance. You would think that all routers must have been infected, but I do is not facing any link redirection on the same routers on my work laptop and an another old Windows laptop (my MacBook is currently out of service). Then I activated the ad block in Safari and I have not had a simple redirect since then.

And this isn't a site or only a few who cause problems.

I decided to post this today because I clicked on a link in Twitter which opened in application; After the page loaded or loaded almost and I started reading it redirected me spam site. I used my cell Internet and it redirected there too. But when I clicked quickly "open in Safari" extension, there is no redirection in Safari (there adblocking on). I returned to the browser as a Twitter app, and the problem was still there. Backwards, do pages not redirect in Safari but redirect in browsers in app. So the problem is not with my ISP or my router or even one or two sites specific. It is with something else and adblocking is the only thing that seems to work so far.

does anyone have a better solution than all the real estate of blocking? It starts because I blocked initially free ads a little when this option came and so there is a cookie that tells me what adblocker even when I'm not blocking and use more aggressive techniques? They also record the IPs or other broader identifiers because I never activated ad block on my new iPad Pro but due after that redirects to start?

Looks like you got an infection malicious cookie on your browser from a Web site that you have visited. This is normally easy to fix.

For Safari, try to reset the it. Close Safari completely from the window of the selector app by double clicking the Home button and slide up the preview pane of Safari until it disappears from the display. Then go to settings > Safari > clear the history and data from the Web site. Then perform a forced reboot. Hold down the home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds , until the Apple logo appears.

For other browsers, you can remove them from phone, do a forced reboot and then reinstall them.

The above should clear the caches on browsers.

  • Firefox 17.0.1 under Vista Home Premium, svc pak 2, affected by Google redirects pages of spam

As mentioned in a thread now closed on this site referring to XUL Runner & XUL cache and some registry entries as being the cause. I have a very high percentage of redirects to pages of spam when I use Google search in Firefox, but not IE. How can I stop this?
I tried Firefox extensions and plugins for all the files that are similar to those mentioned in the statutes, or something similar, or something that seems suspicious, without any result. I searched the registry of entries such as those described, or similar, or otherwise suspicious, also with no results.
What I feel, well, looks like exactly what is being discussed. Support for Google has a web page for reporting redirects like this, which makes me the thing, it may be a known issue?

    http://support.Google.com/WebSearch/bin/request.py?contact_type=reporting_malware & hl = in & page = TS.cs & TS = 1209905 & 1209905 = 1209909 & 1209909 = 1210107

Disable or remove "Print Helper 2.5", that was linked to this problem in another thread: Google Redirect Virus Removal.
