  Win7 Pro 64 bit, IE10.0.9200.16721.   Can't play youtube videos in ANY browser. I think it started after running a registry cleaner back in July.

After clicking, snowy black screen with the message "year error has occurred, please try again later". And below, there is a link that says "learn more." I have been through all the steps and the steps twice around and do not yet have a solution. I can watch flash videos if they are shipped on a site like MSN or some new videos but links e-mail or going on the youtube site and clicking on videos will not work. Sometimes the ads will come and they will play very well up until the video should start, then the message.

  I'm starting to think I have to do a reformat and total fresh install Win7, desktop and all programs without the d: hanging... Very frustrated - one of the most difficult problems to fix in more than 20 years of lifting autour with computers... I was all over the Microsoft Forums and web research to find something that would work, but keep empty to come. Any help from any of you supergurus out there would be appreciated - thanks!

  Try to run this program in your usual account, then copy and paste the result in a response.   You do not need an account of Firefox to use Firefox, simply there if you want to use the synchronization service to synchronize bookmarks and other data between your desktop Firefox installation and your mobile installation. (I don't personally use Sync, not since the installation of office has a lot of old baggage that bogged down my mobile.)

  If there is a problem on a Windows computer:

  It is possible that security (firewall, antivirus) software blocks or limit Firefox or the process of plugin-container without you inform, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.

  Delete all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container in the permissions list in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission to get full unlimited access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

  my laptop is satellite A40-231, I have a problem for days.

  When I open any browser (I tried firefox, IE and chrome) I can't watch the video, everything is slowing down, I can't navigate between pages.

  I took a quick glance to the use of the cpu and it increase to 100%, it never decreases. When I close the browser, the CPU usage drops to 15%, which is normal. I thought it might be a virus that internet connection and make things slower. That's why I format my laptop. I deleted all of my hard drive and reformatted. I installed Windows again, but he has not changed. I even installed ubuntu (I thought maybe virus can not work under ubuntu), but it's the same thing. I turn on my laptop and I open a browser and the laptop slows. I have clean the cpu fan it has not helped.

  You have reinstalled Windows using the Toshiba Recovery disk? This drive will restore the settings from the factory with all the drivers and tools so everything should work fine after that.

  Vista problem - dns related navigation

  I am running Vista on a laptop computer with connection mobile broadband and a standard dial-up connection. I connect directly to the internet and have no router or other devices on the network. I'm having a problem getting any browser to operate. IE 9 says that it cannot display the web page, and Chrome gives me a dns error message. I can ping to a numeric ip address, but I can't ping an address like www.google.com.

  What I tried:

  I ran two different anti-virus programs to check the virus. None have been found.

  I reset IE 9.

  Checked to see if the connection has been put in place in order to get the dns settings automatically and when this does not work, I tried to manually enter the IP addresses of known dns servers. It didn't work either so I went back to the automatic selection.

  I have disabled all programs to determine if there was a conflict from starting.

  I emptied the dns cache and reset winsock.

  I have reset TCP/IP according to the instructions I found on this site.

  I removed all anti-virus programs, thinking we could have a hidden firewall that was blocking me.

  None of this solves the problem. I ran ipconfig/all and there's ip address for dns servers.

  I'm puzzled. This problem occurred when I installed a program to dial for my dial-up service. I uninstalled the program, but that has not solved the problem. Another fact that may or may not be relevant, is that I also lost all my printing capabilities (no printer approved and it will not let me install a).

  Any help would be greatly appreciated because my computer is now almost useless.

  Edit: I use the same ISP of this post (on another computer) so I know that the problem is not at the isp. I would also add that Windows diagnostics are not useful. He just tells me to connect a LAN cable. I would also add that I can actually use Skype so I know that I connect to the internet ok. nslookup works.

  If you have a restore repointer forward this question comes up, I would say that that restoration. It causes makes it sound like some reg problems (but please don't use a reg cleaner)

  Blank pages in the sites of google using any browser IE, Firefox, Chrome etc. In other sites, I get only the lines and images and in others, obtain fragments of pages. At microsoft.com search all ok. I tried the clean, safe mode with network boot, remove antivirus, reset browser, windows update, winsock reset but nothing helps.
