  We are not aware of all the future plans for the release of 13G low servers. The 13 lower G servers available on the market today are R430 & T430.

  Many developers are turning to the mac platform, and it would be great if oracle would support it better. I always use a client of 10.2 (same instant client). Why did the late mac platform?

  It seems to cost too much effort to bring the Mac version. So far, even the installer for 64-bit Windows systems has not been published. I would say that this minor effort for a community still larger than Mac users. Unfortunately, it seems that it was not all the resources for XE since the initial release of 11.2 and even that had no resources to fix bugs that had been detected in the beta phase. So I wouldn't put much hope in a port of Mac more. If you do not want to wait for Virtual Box image announced (see {: identifier of the thread = 2201543} for more details) you will probably have to create one yourself.   Adobe has removed the tool interface of fluid Turbulence. I enjoyed playing with this tool and wonder why the decision to pull it? Are there plans to bring it back in the future?

  We simply ran out of time. There are many other features users are most interested and therefore have a higher priority of development. Currently there is no plan to work on the old tool of Turbulence.

  Huh?  The Lightroom SDK is just guide PDF, the HTML API documentation and some examples of source code elements of writing.

  I understand you are trying to install the USB 2.0 - CRW drivers. Check out the link and download the drivers designed for Windows 7.

  You can install the drivers in Windows 7 in Windows 8 by using compatibility mode. Follow the steps.

  (a) access to the start screen

  (b) press Windows key + C on your keyboard to show the charms (if you have a touch screen: touch the right edge of your screen and slide your finger to the center of the screen to display the bar of charms)

  (c) search for Troubleshooting, click settings in the right-hand column.

  (d) click on troubleshooting. Click run programs made for previous versions of Windows

  (e) click on Next, select not listed. Click Next

  (f) click Browse and select the installation program that you downloaded via the link above.

  (g) click on Next, click program troubleshooting

  (h) check the program worked in earlier versions of Windows but won't install or run now

  (i) click next , select the latest OS known functional for this driver (probably Windows 7)

  (j) click Next

  LR6, Win7, 6 GB of ram

  Is there any fix planned for the slow lingering and pervasive in LR6/cc? I disabled the GRU.  I cleared the cache.  My catalogs are updated to LR 5.7.1.  Everything is slow.  It doesn't matter what it is.  Its takes twice as much time to do something.  LR will freeze for 5 to 15 seconds at a time without apparent reason.  The use cases are to go "Not responding" are numerous and vary widely.  I check the CPU during these events Nn sensitive usage and its pretty much slowed down.  I have check the disk usage and its also generally inactive.

  I thought it might be VSCO plugins, but it's not.  LR5.7.1 is always screaming fast while LR6 is an old slow cow.

  Here is an example that I saw that is repeatable:

  (1) start an import

  (2) choose the photos from an SD card

  3) click the + to add them to the catalog

  4) appears to enter a catalog name

  (5) start to type in the dialog box.
  (6) after may entered 8 letters, LR goes "Not responding", 10 seconds

  (7) after LR starts responding again, emphasis on catalog name field has been lost

  There is no reason for a freezing here.  The CPU does nothing.  The drive does nothing.

  There are things like that in every sense.

  Another example.

  (1) develop the Mode

  (2) select a photo

  (3) left and right panels are hidden

  (4) browse the side panel right of the mouse so that it will pop-out

  5) LR freezes for 5 seconds

  6( ) when the right panel opens, click on the number of exposure (0) and try to type in 1.25.

  7( ) after after graduating 1,2, LR hangs for 10 seconds.

  8( ) when LR answers once again, finishing by typing in the 5 other (1.25) and press to enter.

  9( ) the image immediately illuminates as expected.

  Yay!  They have updated LRCC/6 today.  The slowness and latency seem to have disappeared! Yay!  I can get back to work!

• Tecra M3: Plans to support USB HDD Boot?

  I have a Tecra M3 (~ 6 months) and was very very surprised to see that the M3 does not support boot from USB hard drive.

  I tried to install Windows Vista and Linux etc on my external hard drive and cannot due to lack of BIOS support.

  Any plans to support such a feature? Or any workaround? I really wish that any solution does not affect my existing laptop internal HDD (on which I'm short of space from the point of view even when OS install).

  The fact is that it is not possible to boot from the external USB HDD on almost all Toshiba laptops. I guess you can't boot from the drive external HARD because of the BIOS.

  It's simple.  I bought Aperture because iPhoto was not to my needs.  Now Aperture is replaced and the comments there say that Photos doesn't have the tools, I want to be.

  I'm not a professional photographer, but use a DSLR camera and it's easy to take "too many pictures".  An I take a picture, I keep if the quality is OK.  Records, it does not mean that I want to pay extra to save and it certainly does not mean that I want it on every device I own.  I want to use stars, keywords and projects (this function any name is fine with me) to organize my collection.  I don't want to just find a picture by the date it was taken, but of course, it is the most common research.  I want to have pictures with 2 stars or better in smart folders that I share on my various devices.  I use a smart folder for this today.

  I'm upset that the product has lost support.  I saved the libraries that rely on a programme of work to read (I've lost images in a dark form in the 1990s).  I spent money on a product, expecting to own for many years, but may not be able to download it for a new purchase of computer in 1 year.  I'm not yet sold on the cloud, and that's why.

  Apple has stopped the development of Aperture.  You will be able to use Aperture, as long as you have a computer with an Operarting system which is compatible with aperture.  Don't update your Mac to new versions of the system, unless you know for sure that the new system supports the opening. Don't forget to keep a full backup of your Mac with opening and your version of Mac OS X, so you can revert to this version, if you accidentally updated to a version that does not support opening.
