Anything background image of slide miss aligned. How to fix?

Hello

If anyone can help with the placement of background images? My background images display perfectly in my master slides. In the film display, however and in the published project they are pushed down by around 8 to 10 pixels from the top margin.

FYI: I have engaged in an activity of re-scale on this project, choosing to "Reframe" the blades to size. I've cropped margin DOWN however, so it would not entirely explain this behavior. I feel like there is a conflict somewhere with the old project height but I checked every single possible location. The right height (new) appears under the project Info, edition and scale of windows.

I tried:

  • Clear my cache of project several times above, both the Captivate and manually via Explorer.
  • Adding white space from 8 to 10 pixels to the bottom of the background image to push upward, but that just having fun it. It is not lift vertically.
  • By clicking on the 'Reset slide' button of the page. No change.
  • Manually set the background image for each individual slide to the background image properly size instead of using the master-blade set background image. No change (there is always a gap).
  • Manually setting a SINGLE image to the background image for each individual slide rather than using the defined master slide background image. No change (there is always a gap).
  • Recreating EVERY single blade from a new model of slides with the slide model correctly positioned. They display properly at first, but after have closed and reopened the project they have repositioned again and are aligned to miss.
  • Save the project from Captivate 7 to 8 Captivate and publishing/check all the options in question. I was hoping that if it was a small bug in Captivate 7, it could be deleted... no luck.

The really annoying is when I open the project as background images is displayed correctly. It's only when I start to edit the slides and/or publish the project that they will all miss-aligned.

Any ideas on where to find a cache I may have missed or why this might be happening would be really appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Could be a kind of corruption of project file / glitch.

Have you tried to copy all the slides in a new shell of empty project of the same size?  Sometimes, which solves similar problems.

  • How to get the background image to fill the browser and stay fixed in IE and Firefox?

    Basically what it says in the title. I came very close to achieve, but something comes to Moor in the html and css code...

    First of all, I use the latest version of Firefox and IE8 to test this situation.

    I used 2 sources of information to get this done: 1) http://css-tricks.com/perfect-full-page-background-image/ and ) 2 http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8958697/css3-background-size-cover-doesn ' t-make-image-co-ver-vertical

    In 1 case , the example of the called page CSS-Only Technique #1 gives the code that works almost perfectly for me, except that obviously I need to a background image, but the CSS provided ago obviously just for an image has fallen in the body of a page without taking account of any other content that may already be there. "The html code that I put on the page is simply < img class ="bg"src ="... / pictures/background_image.jpg "> "

    Of course, I used the CSS code in the example, less the last piece which is "@media screen" etc., which seems irrelevant to me. Of course by replacing the values according to the picture on my page.

    So what happened was that it worked almost as expected in both browsers (which means the image filled both browsers first as it should and also remained fixed when I zoomed in, inside or outside, in each case), except that the picture went on top of the current content that I already there precisely because there isn't a background in this 'technical '. (A note on the side of curious, is that the image didn't turn down content, I expected under normal circumstances, but he went right on top of it so she she hidden (like the z-index).)

    One thing that bothers me in this regard 'technical' is that if you click on view the demo just below the code provided, you will see on the example of work page (bottom of the forest), the image clearly works as a backdrop and the content is fortunately located on top! So I don't know if the person who provides the example was trying to deceive people or what! Or he got lazy and showed another page which did not use the exact code, he has provided. No matter.

    In any case this leaves me with only half-completed work, because I still need a background image that functions as the 'normal image' code provided.

    In 2 cases and on this page, the first example provided gives the CSS for clutter - namely the code in the html {...} part and shows also the same "normal image" code as shown in box 1. In this case however, that the person provide a suggestion, the html and the css is not really properly more Moor some css and html seems a little redundant. So this time, when I used the part "html" in the CSS code (i.e. just the bit that was no longer relevant), I had two different behaviors in each browser and neither of which was quite what I'm looking for. In IE8, initially the page seems well (background fills the page and the content is on top) but when I Zoom in or out the background also zooms in or out accordingly so is NOT fixed. In Firefox, the background image stays fixed, but because the image is initially not the height of the browser I guess the code it extends down (keeping the proportions - so the image enlarges essentially) to fill it. The fast way to get around it is probably add white space at the bottom of the image just to give it sufficient height is not extensible / resize automatically. But it would be nice to know at least how to work around this problem in the code. Overall, I would say that the result in Firefox is closest to the desired solution, but of course it is not arranged things with IE8.

    Apologies for the long description, but which should at least provide much info for anyone who might have a possible solution for me. Essentially what would be great is if someone could advise me how to take the code of case 1 and apply it to a piece of 'background' coding as the type that is contained in html {...} in Case 2 . Like I said, it is almost there, but I just can't operate atm after trying to combine different bits of code this way and that... Also, if anyone has another version of html-css that works well to achieve then please by all means of let me know! V thanks a lot in advance!

    It works in modern browsers of the CSS3 support.  But not pre - IE9.

    Hello

    Such things fall into CSS - editing the CSS associated with the site (which is characterised by the site built by different people and models) and change things on that basis.

    IF the model you have body {background: green ;} for example that would change the hexadecimal color you want.}

    If you are not familiar with CSS it would make some googling and reading on it.

    good day people

    FOR v_cursor IN cr_cursor LOOP
    v_style: = v_style |'. slide_' | v_cursor.ID |' {background: url('|| v_cursor.)} (FONDO) |') {no-repeat 0 0;}';

    Published by: e: / / we 24/09/2010 13:46

    First of all, the CSS syntax isn't quite right. The background-image property indicates only the URL of the background image. To specify the background-position and background-repeat as well, use the shorthand background property.

    Second, there are syntax errors in the region of PL/SQL code:

    v_style := v_style||'.slide_'||v_cursor.ID||'{background:url('||v_cursor.FONDO )||') no-repeat 0 0;}';

    There is no member FONDO in the record of cursor, and it is followed by a misplaced ')'...

    Thirdly (and probably the most important), the URL must point to a resource that will actually download the image to the browser. An application process can be used for this:

    1. create the point of application ODP_CFG_BACKGROUND_ID to use as an image for the ODP ID parameter.

    2. create the application at the ODP_CFG_BACKGROUND request process:

    declare

      l_background  cfg_background.background%type;
      l_mimetype    cfg_background.mimetype%type;
      l_filename    cfg_background.filename%type;

    begin

      select
                bg.background
              , bg.mimetype
              , bg.filename
      into
                l_background
              , l_mimetype
              , l_filename
      from
                cfg_background bg
      where
                bg.id = :odp_cfg_background_id;

      owa_util.mime_header(l_mimetype, false);
      htp.p('Content-Length: ' || dbms_lob.getlength(l_background));
      htp.p('Content-Disposition: filename="' || l_filename || '"');
      owa_util.http_header_close();
      wpg_docload.download_file(l_background);

    end;

    3 rewrite the region of PL/SQL code to generate the URL to the ODP:

     begin

      htp.p('');

    end;

    Note that also that the style isn't valid in the page's head element, so unless the page template contains a properly placed the region post a PL/SQL region may not be the best way to put the style sheet...

  • Difficulty in div background image

    Hello

    I did a lot of research on this subject and answers os tons were developed, yet, none has solved my problem so far.

    I'm doing the background image in a div that will be fixed when I scroll vertically.

    Have a model manufactured, in which the only editable div is the rightdiv. (in red, to be easier)

    Here is my code

    CSS

    {body
    margin-top: 0px;
    margin-bottom: 0px;
    background-position: Center;
    background-image: url (.. / Images/bgdr.jpg);
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    }

    {#wrapper}
    height: 875px.
    Width: 1000px;
    margin-right: auto;
    left margin: auto;
    background-repeat: no-repeat;

    #header {}

    background-repeat: no-repeat;

    Clear: none;

    float: none;

    height: 214px;

    Width: 1000px;

    background-image: none;

    position: relative;

    padding-top: 10px;

    {#leftDiv}
    Clear: none;
    float: left;
    height: 500px;
    Width: 245px;
    position: relative;
    text-decoration: none;
    }

    {#rightDiv}
    Clear: none;
    float: right;
    height: 484px;
    Width: 755px;
    position: relative;
    overflow: auto;
    }

    #footer {}
    height: 100px;
    Width: 1000px;
    Clear: both;
    position: relative;
    padding-bottom: 20px;
    }

    And here is my HTML code

    <!-InstanceBeginEditable name = "RightDiv"->

    < div id = "rightDiv" style = "background-image: url(Images/informacao.png)" >

    < / div >

    <! - InstanceEndEditable - >

    Well, it's that on Internet Explorer 9, the background image repeats vertically when I scroll vertically. On Chrome it will stay fixed on parchment (and that's what I want).

    I tried to add style = "" background-attachment: fixed ", but that branding will match difficulty itself relatively to the entire page, not the div only." In addition, she repeats 4 times for oocupy the screen. I can solve that by "no-repeat", but it is always attached to the browser page, not of the div.

    I tried to solve this problem for days... Help would be very appreciated.

    Funny is that this only happens in IE9... Chrome works perfectly.

    After a little research, I found it's actually "mode of operation" in Internet Explorer, all versions. A fixed background image goes out the window of the browser for positioning.

    The work around is to place a div container around the div scrolling. Place the background image in this div without css positioning container or an attachment and turn off a background image or color in div scrolling.

    Something like that...

    These entries should still be there if you right click on an image or an area with a background image.

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    I'm having a problem using the slideshow module in LR 6.3. The slideshow contains the background image as one of the images to display. Earlier, I have created a slideshow of practice and the background image was not displayed as an image in itself. How to make it behave?

    Another approach, perhaps a little more elegant (?). Create a collection that includes images for the slideshow. Include the background image in the collection. Drag the background image in the Panel to designate. Then, remove this image from the collection and create the slide show. I just tried and it works, too.
