  Apologies for the long description, but which should at least provide much info for anyone who might have a possible solution for me. Essentially what would be great is if someone could advise me how to take the code of case 1 and apply it to a piece of 'background' coding as the type that is contained in html {...} in Case 2 . Like I said, it is almost there, but I just can't operate atm after trying to combine different bits of code this way and that...
