APEX 4.0.2 save BI report to the database Blob

I am applying it in APEX 4.0.2 with Database 11 g and Oracle BI Publisher 11. I have several buttons that call URLS like:

http://xx.xxx.x.xxx:9704/xmlpserver/public/invoice/invoice.XDO?_xpf= & _xpt = 0 & _xdo = % 2FPUBLIC % 2FINVOICE % 2FINVOICE. XDO & invoice_id = #INVOICE_ID #& _xt = test % 20INVOICE % 20Invoice & _XF = PDF & _xmode = 4

Our demand must record all reports generated by the user in a BLOB that can be viewed online or downloaded by a supervisor, etc..

Can someone help me with this or give me the steps to make this work?

Thank you very much!

    Hello everyone,

    I am almost nine using Oracle Application Server, so excuse me for asking stupid questions, please.
    But where can I find scheduled jobs (reports) in the database?

    We use the OAS in version 10.1.2.3.0

    So I hope that the jobs are heard in a database table, where I can remove scheduled jobs/reports.

    By default no. But you can activate the API Reports Server queue PL/SQL
    There should be a script in the folder of OH / reports / / admin/sql server called rw_server.sql
    It will create table and package. After that, you must edit the .conf file and remove the tag "jobStatusRepository".

  • Combo box list, but we had to save different values in the database

    11g, ADF, ADF BC, MySQL

    I have a drop-down list box in one of my pages with a fixed list that is bound to a field on one of my VO

    The drop-down list box displays the States as such: IA - Iowa, MI - Michigan... etc.

    The database column concerned, is a VARCHAR (2), so I'll have to just save "IA", instead of "IA - Iowa".

    I don't want to have a 'State' database table that correlates "IA" to "IA - Iowa".

    What is the best practice to have the user select the value in the fixed list and then having my code to manipulate the value before saving it to the db?

    Thanks in advance,

    Joel

    Yes.

    Create the VO with two attributes (value and label) - call it your search VO

    In the original Version that you want to change, use the search VO to lead the list of values.

  • Select the line of the classic report to pass the value to another classic report on the same page

    Hello

    First a few details about the environment - I use the image of the last download oracle VM developer days to oracle.com. This includes DB version 12.1.0.2 and version 4.2.5.00.08 Apex. For the question although I don't know the specifics of the versions that are relevant.

    What I want to do an apex page which includes an analytical section at the top, followed by a section of retail slot - a line is selected / highlighted at the top which causes the relevant lines in this summary line is displayed. Its screen basically a master-detail - however the source of these two sets of data is just a query - is not a table.

    The query at the top of the page is something like

    Select * summary

    and the section below is

    Select * from details where id = (the value of the id clicked in the summary above)

    This feels like it should be really easy (and indeed, it is for the tables through the apex of master-detail Wizard) - but I can't understand when the two sets of data are the result of queries.

    I can't seem to make reference to the elements of the page when it comes to a report and I think that I might need to go down a kind of dynamic route of actions and jquery, but I don't get very far very fast. I found some notes that seem similar, but nothing which does exactly what I want. The function APEX_APPLICATION to browse a table also doesn't seem to be possible for the output report that I could see (tags are not there) - what is relevant for the forms?

    I hope that I have explained that quite simply.

    Can anyone help?

    See you soon,.

    You link column can be just a null value in the sql code, if you want. Change the column and head down to the link attributes.

    Text link: "Click me" (source of sql using #MY_COL columns or #)

    Target: URL

    URL: javascript: $s ('P1_ITEM', #ID);

    Then have onChange dynamic action on P1_ITEM which updates the State. Do not forget to present the value of session state (either property right under the sql or pl/sql prior to update action report). The database needs to know the value of browser before running the query.

    Horrible method obsolete to develop web applications of PL/SQL.

    Still not sure that Oracle actively supports this technology and products. It has been never used commonly.

    Apex (Express application) is widely used and have been for many years. It is a mature product, powerful enough for the Professional Enterprise web applications (Oracle uses, himself) and yet easy enough for a person to use, without understanding exactly what the web without State Server-based client works, what optimistic locking is and how to deal with the State of security and the session.

    The apex is by default included in Oracle 11 g.

    Dear Sir.

    I'm generated excellent using labview,.

    Currently, my doubt is how to Save automatically this report in the directory specified?

    Please inform me,

    Thank you...

    Do you use report generation tools for that?

    If Yes, then you can use 'save the report in the file.vi. If you don't use a Toolbox, you can use "Save" method by calling invoke node

    and by the way "workbook" refers to it.

    Hi, in Win 7 - when you try to have a screen pop up to ask the user where to save their report, it is now appear behind the scenes (we can get it through the Task Manager, but is not acceptable).  It is currently in the environment of WNT, but I don't know how to operate in W7.  Also, I have limited access to a machine with W7 in order to try to find a solution has been slow going. I was wondering if there is an option that must be activated or something, I learned to write in the code. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    The maximum size of a column report CLOB value is 32 KB. However, the maximum size for the content of the line of the full report is also 32 KB (including the HTML markup), so you can be hitting this limit because of the size of your 10 K CLOB data + the rest of the line.

    According to the database character set and the characters which that contains data, the character encoding may use more than one byte to represent a character.

  • Display an image BLOB in a report of the APEX

    Hello

    I have a BLOB column in a table that contains an image I want to display in a report.

    The table definition for the table (MAG_IMAGES) that I store the BLOB in is:

    CREATE TABLE 'MAG_IMAGES '.

    (NUMBER OF 'MAG_IMAGE_ID',

    VARCHAR2 (200) "NUMERO_IMAGENOM_IMAGE."

    BLOB "CONTENT."

    'MIME_TYPE' VARCHAR2 (1000).

    NUMBER OF "DOC_SIZE."

    'CONTENT_TYPE' VARCHAR2 (1000).

    VARCHAR2 (20) "DISPLAY_AREA."

    TIMESTAMP 'LAST_UPDATE_DATE' (6).

    ENABLE 'MAG_IMAGES_PK' CONSTRAINT PRIMARY KEY ('MAG_IMAGE_ID')

    )

    /

    It's the Vendor_Group Table where I store the Image_Id.

    CREATE TABLE 'VENDOR_GROUP '.

    (NUMBER OF 'VENDOR_GROUP_ID',

    VARCHAR2 (100) "VENDOR_GROUP_NAME."

    "IMAGE_ID" NUMBER

    ENABLE 'VENDOR_GROUP_PK' CONSTRAINT PRIMARY KEY ('VENDOR_GROUP_ID')

    )

    /

    I created the following procedure IMAGE_DISPLAY, which I have from a previous discussion forum.

    create or replace PROCEDURE image_display (p_image_id number)

    AS

    l_mime VARCHAR2 (255);

    l_length NUMBER;

    l_file_name VARCHAR2 (2000);

    l_content BLOB;

    BEGIN

    SELECT content, Mime_type DBMS_LOB.getlength (content)

    IN l_mime, l_content, l_length

    OF mag_images

    WHERE mag_image_id = p_image_id;

    OWA_UTIL.mime_header (NVL (l_mime, "application/octet"), FALSE);

    HTP.p ("Content-length: ' |") l_length);

    OWA_UTIL.http_header_close;

    WPG_DOCLOAD.download_file (l_content);

    EXCEPTION

    WHEN OTHERS RAISE.

    END image_display;

    I then create a region of APEX report with the following source:

    Select a.group_product_list,

    ' < img src = "image_display? p_image_id =' | NVL(a.image_id,0) | "" height ="" | 100. "" / > "photo

    vendor_group a, mag_images b

    where image_id = b.mag_image_id (+)

    and mag_vendor_id = 2;

    The Image does not appear, but it looks like this below. I put the column attribute 'Standard report Column '.

    BLOB_Report.png

    Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong?

    Thanking you in advance

    Hello

    I tried to recreate the region from scratch, even in another page altogether but still no luck.

    If I run the report without defining the column in a BLOB with its attributes (MIMETYPE column, Table etc.), he does not fail, but returned the following, which is of course the length of the BLOB. The problem only occurs if I set the attributes. Any other suggestions?

    Include MAG_IMAGE_ID as a hidden column in the report.
