  I just created this pretty simple site using photoshop and muse.

  Once I'm almost done, I decided to export it as HTML so I could put it online and test, just to be sure.

  Well, everything seems to work in firefox and chrome.

  

  Then a day later I thought I should check in IE8 (XP).

  As the header and the foot is, their width is governed by some JS so if scripts are disabled on a browser then the 100% width may be problem by making correctly.

  As transparency is concerned, it's something that is a known issue with IE8 and the way it handles transparencies and png images. Although Muse is designed to deal with that up to a certain extent, but there are cases where they cannot make properly.

  As a solution I would say that instead of transparent discoloration, fade to the background color, to give the same effect.

• Vista restore & Defrag failure more blue screen & restart issue

  I have a desktop Gateway with Vista Home OS. It ran fine until 3 weeks when I started getting blue screens & system closed and then restarted. This seems to happen when the line & open a second search window. I tried to restore, but it fails on all restore points, I've tried to the 14/09/2010. I tried the defrag, but when I click it it close the window & nothing happens. I tried in safe mode but still nothing works. I took the computer to a computer Arrdvark & they said it was a video driver problem but when I got back there was immediately another blue screen & sound did not work. I brought & they disconnected a disk & deleted (deactivated) my Norton 360 program. They have installed a Malware & AVI program? freeware. Defrag & system restore do not always work.

  Actually I take it back again and insist that they fix it properly.

• Windows 7 Ultimate X 64 Blu - ray reading issues

  Hello

  I have a problem reading Blu - ray discs.  When I place the disc in the drive, he sees that the drive is there, but when I try to access a folder on the disc, there's nothing there.  Strangely, I can disable the Blu - ray player and re - enable in Device Manager and the drive is instantly read by the reader.  The reader has no problem reading DVD or CD.
  At this point, I am sure that the issue is not with the Blu - ray player I installed 2 different disks of 2 different manufacturers and have had the same problem.  Each time, I could only get the player to read the content of the Blu - ray disc in deactivating and then reactivating the drive in Device Manager.
  I understand that with this workaround, the disc works effectively, but I don't think it is a good solution and would rather the disk read simply by placing the disc in the drive.
  I have searched for a solution on this issue for more than a month now and have only found solutions involving the upgrade of software reading or drivers.  I've already updated the firmware on the drive to the latest version and I know that the reading software is not in question.
  Any thoughts on what this could be and how to fix it?

  FOUND!  I did a Google search for the registry key and Blu - ray and concluded that the key who manages the readers of DVD and whatnot is called 4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318 and can be found by searching under HKLM\SYSTEM in regedit.  Under this heading, there is an entry called "LowerFilters".  I deleted it and restarted the computer.  Like that, I am now able to put a Blu - ray disc in the drive and browse its content to you only.  No longer toggle in the Device Manager!

• APEX Version 4 brilliant but has some issues

  I use APEX version 4 and think it's a big improvement over version 3 which was still a good product. My problem is with the models. No. 12 is my favorite, but the login page does not appear correctly, the password field is always larger than the user field in Internet Explorer, Firefox is fine. Without another element of page beside it, it takes up a large part of the screen.
  
  In addition, when you select a text, as opposed to a text field box you get a different font. In fact you get also the different font sizes on the same page.
  
  Maybe it's my lack of knowledge on the CCS and models, but I think other people can also have problems in this area. Someone injured have problems with new models? Version 3 templates were very good.

  For fields of text being of different sizes in Internet Explorer, the issue seems to be caused by the way Internet Explorer renders the password entry fields. In the HTML code, the user name and password entry fields have the same size (40).

  If you want to force Internet Explorer to use the same width for the username and password fields, you can add the CSS in your login page header:

  Now for the question of different fonts for text fields text boxes; the default text boxes use fixed-width fonts (and the police is set by default for e-mail). If you want to change this behavior and make the text boxes have the same font as the other text fields, you can add the CSS in your style sheet:

  TextArea {make: 12px/14px Arial, without serif! important ;}}

  What operating system do you use?

  What brand of computer are you using (HP, Dell, etc.)? Have you spent at the web site of the manufacturer and installed the drivers from HP, Dell, support of any web site page? Sometimes drivers that Windows installs are not as effective - especially if you have recently upgraded to Windows 10.

  There may be other factors, but we will need a lot more information in order to solve the deeper problems.

  Hi everyone - it's been a few years I posted, but I am finally able to get implemented in my company of the ApEx to 4.2.2 3.1 because we have several lower environments (low 12 environments, ugh), we test this upgrade in a single output for now.  So, we have set the directory of the image to/i42 /, as part of the installation and put the Alias and location of the directory in the dads of appropriate image file (I think).  Everything looks great - builder Application is superb, I install bundled applications and they work fine.  Our application, however, has problems - when you click on the "connect" button - it goes nowhere - no shipment.  I thought that maybe I had to use a more recent theme (26), so I installed for the app and it doesn't look good at all and the connection always fails.  Is there a reference to image directory in the application that I'm missing or something?

  Thank you very much, Jari!  It was not the exact answer, but put me on the right track - the app was still /i31/ defined as the prefix of the Image attribute.  If we had put the prefix of Image at /i42/ as part of the installation on the Pb, we hadn't made it to correspond in the app...

  First time display and just beginning to learn about Oracle so please forgive me if I ask a stupid question. I received an assignment College to develop a tool which is able to analyse the Oracle DBMS. My teacher made us in the direction of the table V$ SESSION as being the main source of information needed to do this. We use Oracle 10 g Express as the workplace. Under the project, we were asked to design the tool so that we can learn the two session past and present and represent some of the information in the graphs.
  
  In the search for a way to do this that I came across Oracle Application Express and it seemed to be a package that I might be able to use to do this. I built a virtual machine and initially installed Oracle 10 g Express. As the SYSTEM user, I then installed a copy of Oracle Application Express 4.1. Then I created a workspace called PROJECT and as s/n, I installed the example HR schema so I have a working group of data for General queries.
  
  My intention was to develop an application that can run a script that removed all the info from the table V$ SESSION in a few new tables that I had put in place in the schema. I could store this information in the tables for a historical view of previous sessions. So my application would be able to reference the tables and create charts from data. I still have to learn about the APEX, but my main hypothesis is that if I can get information in a table, I can do a lot with it.
  
  I got the HR schema installed on a copy of the Oracle 10 g Express before and could access the V$ SESSION table but now I can't go to her APEX. I am aware that APEX has some reporting tools, but I can't use these as the project is to develop the tool myself... However, I can imitate what they do.
  
  So my question is how can I access the table V$ SESSION of my database because it is not visible in the working SYSTEM or PROJECT space that I have through the object browser.

  Well, I think it's quite a hasty conclusion to reach, especially for someone who is autonomous while brand new to Oracle, don't you think?

  I've created many applications which queries all the views SYS owned very well. Here's what you do:

  (1) I assume you have a workspace with a database schema associated with, right? Suppose that in this scenario, it is named GLENN, OK?
  2) connect as SYS (via SQL * Plus or another tool) to your database and the question: GRANT SELECT ON SYS. V_$ SESSION TO GLENN
  (3) you should now be able to go in your workspace APEX (the one mapped to GLENN) and issue SQL commands: SELECT * FROM V$ SESSION. You can also create a report in an APEX on SYS application. V$ SESSION.

  That's all there is to it. Hope this helps.

  The Apex team must answer as to what is expected for Apex 4.0, but the 32 k issue is twofold:

  (a) the bridge between the web browser/server and the database should handle more than 32 K string values (IE. CLOB).

  (b) the framework of the Apex (the procedure 'accept' who gets all values when you submit a page) must manage more string of 32 k values (IE. CLOB).

  Now, the problem with one) should be easy enough to fix with the new listener to the Apex. If you want to use Microsoft IIS as a web server, see my [gateway Thoth | http://code.google.com/p/thoth-gateway/] which already supports the CLOB parameters. You'll always need to manage registration of great values through an application process (Ajax), due to problem b), which is that the framework of Apex does not use CLOB parameters in the current version.
