• Priority of the rules with dynamic content

  Does anyone know how the rules have priority in dynamic content?

  For example, I have three rules: content, content for designers and content developers default. If a person is designer and developer, I want to send them the content developer.

  Any ideas?

  -If anyone knows how to add names to the rules too, would be great. They are currently all record as "rule 1" "rule 2"... ".

  The engine follows a short-circuit evaluation. It begins with rule 1, then goes to rule 2, etc.. The first rule is a football match is used. If no rule is met, then the default value is provided.

  I agree, it would be nice if the rules have been appointed. Please create it if it is not already there in the exchange of ideas!

• Lists numbered with dynamic content filtering

  I couldn't find this information anywhere, although I imagine that I'm probably not the first person to experience this problem...

  I have a few issues where the steps in the procedures are present numbered lists. I use the conditional tags build on some of the numbered steps to filter the when specific filters are applied in the output of Responsive HTML5. When I look at a topic in preview mode and apply filters, list numbers automatically renumber to avoid skipping numbers. However, when the output and then apply the filter, the lines disappear as expected, but numbered lists jump filtered numbers.

  Is it possible to get this number right?

  Yes, just tested on my end with a multiple numbered list. And in this type of list, things go to pot!

  

  Seems that the solution is to avoid using this type of list. Pretty easy to accomplish. Select the first and the last bit of list and click the multilevel. then simply apply numbers.

• Monitoring of dynamic content

  Hello

  How can I determine how many people were sent to each version of dynamic content?  SO, if I build a piece of the DC with a default rule, rule 1, rule 2 and then send it to my segment, how do I determine who/how many people in my area received by default, vs how many received rule 1, and how much the rule 2.  I was not able to find this data anywhere.

  I have been able to track clicks using query strings, but this does not help with "submitted" or other metrics such as open note and click rate.  I also have the custom parser building license, so if this is useful, please let me know.

  I think the Visual report clicks does not work with dynamic content.

  But in E9, there is an option to search for what Jessica is trying, it is called: ventilation content-driven activity by E-mail (in the report Console).

  This shows how many people have been sent to each version of dynamic content in an email.

  It is not good to learn that this option does not exist in the E10.

• REST API: How to create e-mail/landing page with static/dynamic content?

  With the REST API, it seems that you can create/update the contents of an e-mail or a landing page by specifying html with the type "RawHtmlContent". How it works when this e-mail or a landing page includes a shared or dynamic content? What is the recommended method to create or update an e-mail/landing page and add a new shared or dynamic, content or update the "reference"?

  Unfortunately this is not currently supported by our API.  However, we are building a new point extension called content Cloud that can solve your use case.

• Any success with the creation of dynamic content with the api?

  My company is looking to build a dynamic newsletter and we usually have a lot of articles, but we want to connect with elequa auto generate dynamic content. Then we can use this content to build the newsletter in a model. ? Someone at - it do something similar to this?

  This is an old issue, but for someone who comes here looking for answers:

  Your best bet in the future is to create a content Service AppCloud (develop a content AppCloud Service) under the new Framework Developer Eloqua AppCloud (Introducing Eloqua of AppCloud Developer Framework).  This will allow you to insert dynamically content in landing pages and emails.

• Print dynamic content with printJob

  Recently, I developed an application to help who built the interface and support all the hand and under navigation elements, content pages and dynamically associated resources. It was to make it easy to provide research and printing features, as well as an interface scalability. So my impression feature creates a MovieClip print layout (well to margins of 8.5 x 11 and printer) and load the appropriate text content, associated with the page visible on the screen when you press the "print" key.
  
  I thought that the impression was ready to go, but what I've discovered, is that, once you print a page of the request for resources to help this page prints instead of any other page that you print from there on out.
  
  My "print" key calls a function that pulls all the appropriate dynamic data (page title, content of the page, the names of the resources, etc.) and formats it as HTML and adds it to my MovieClips print text field layout (docPrint._txt).
  
  That function then calls my function printJob which creates an empty sprite, adds my movieclip print layout of this sprite, resizes the text field of the MovieClip print layout to properly fit in the margins of the printer, and print the file.
  
  Anyone have any ideas why my dynamic content print as the same page every time? Note that if I trace my text field content to my MovieClip content change print layout each time, but the impression remains the same.

  I am answering my own post I found a solution, although I'm now on bald of pulling all my hair. Hope this helps even a soul randomly in the future as the printJob class seems to be one of the most difficult to get help with or find the information concerning online.

  My code dynamically creates the contents of the print page based on the content of the screen on which the user currently displays in my application. My print functions were always print the first page that was printed to any page in the application, the user was viewing.

  As I learned to do, I was declaring the variables for my items printed in the root of my actionScript (outside of all functions so they can be accessed in all of functions).

  I had two variables:
  var docPrint:document = new document(); A layout of MovieClip for my printing page located in the my library
  var printPage:Sprite = new Sprite(); The Sprite to keep my fine MovieClip to feel like a sprite is required

  I also had two functions:
  docContentsLoad(); Responsible for content in docPrint Movieclip and formatted
  printJob(); Print job created adjusted for settings of the printer docPrint and sent print

  It turns out the solution the simplest was combine my two functions in one printJob function and place my two variables (docPrint & printPage) at the beginning of the function. Printing now works fine everytime. Repeat over and over the pages.

  My assumption is that the only way to truly deliver the print document should delcare the variables in the called function to print the document so that they are redeclares every time.

  Two single quotes will be replaced by a single quotation mark when used in a string. So:

  If you need to close the string to be concatenated to another channel, then you use an other single quotation mark to close the chain and open it again later:

• ApEx 5: Modal dialog dynamic page title resists change

  I have a modal dialog box that is called from a page with several buttons, each of which has a value different from the value to a page element in the modal page which is then used as a change in the title of the page. It works the first time when open the dialog box indicating the title depending on button, but then this first value sticks and won't change during his call with others buttons until the calling page is updated. Then it changes according to whatever the button is first used and gets stuck again. I also tried setting the value of the element in a process of pre-rendering or dynamic action of page load, but the behavior is the same.

  The trickiest part about modal APEX pages is that the content of the page is in an iframe, but the dialog box itself (including the title bar) is in the parent window.

  The problem is that the title of the dialog box is set in the call to apex.navigation.dialog which is located in the button's onclick attribute. This code is rendered on the server when the page is rendered, so it will use whatever the current value of the dialog page is including the substitutions.

  The links should be generated on the server because of the checksum. But the checksum does not include the options of the dialog box, so it is possible to do something like that. I have two buttons that open the same dialog is a button on the other cakes and pies. Is the title of the dialog attribute: dialogue &. P32_TITLE_ARG and the buttons set P32_TITLE_ARG to 'Pies' or 'cakes '.

  In this case there is no need to still have P32_TITLE_ARG, unless it is used for more than just replacement of the title.

  One thing that I don't like this solution, is that it is changing the code is sensitive to changes in the way the onclick code is rendered. By changing the text of an onclick handler you basically get the browser to the code eval for you. However, most (all?) techniques that use the apex.navigation.dialog API from your JavaScript code will have to change somehow what prepare_url generates on the server.

  Another option is to set the title of the dialog box of the page apex loaded by using a dynamic page loading action.  Yet once the title of the page does not have to use the substitution so better to change it to something like 'Dialogue'... "so that it shows something reasonable while loading the content of the dialog box (page APEX).

  The code runs in the DA of the dialog page loading is very simple. What is most interesting is the use of apex.util.getTopApex. The dynamic action runs in the iframe, but the dialog box is in the parent document (dialog boxes are always opened in APEX above). Using getTopApex allows us to find the title of the dialog box in the parent document.

  For the above to work, you shall provide your dialogue a single class (on the parent page) so that the dialog box can be found. Make sure to set the dialog box > CSS Classes do not attribute the appearance > Classes CSS attribute. I used the name of the class that is lame "myDialog '.

  The disadvantage of this method is that there is a delay until the title is set, it is the same delay as the page loads, so it may not be a problem.

  So I have a page of submit element in the d.a. (primary key of the table) to fetch the row of the table.

  When I run the page I get an error of checksum on the question.

  I work on the Dreamweaver extension and want to create a new floating panels. I am able to create...

  But, I have a (small) problem. Is it possible to add content dynamically?

  For example, let's say I have an HTML page containing a table with a variable number of columns. When the user select the node of the table, I want my extended floating panel automatically adds the column names (based on the thead element > tr > th data) as the new COLUMN NAME < p > < /p >.

  I have (yet) how to obtain the name of the columns... I just need to know if it is possible to add dynamic content in a floating panel and if it is possible, how?

  Just find the workaround... Instead of adding content, you can use object.innerHTML to set the html code. You can not add, but can completely rewrite the data in the DOM extension

  Great plan - and I see what you mean!

  It's a little complicated, because you cannot add to ADC (which would achieve exactly that), but... as I said, it is certainly possible.

  If it was me, so I would

  1. create a new custom Contact field and name 'Bulletin of the subject' (for example).

  2. create a small program Builder program, which uses the connector of cloud to concatenate a String to merge the values. In this case, "[first name], here. I'd write that concatenated value in the field "Subject of the bulletin" Contact that I created in step 1.

  3. create a new fusion of field, based on the Contact field 'Topic newsletter', with the default value is "Here".

  In this way, when I add the merge on this subject field, I find myself with"[fusion of subject field Newsletter] is your email. If you know my name, it's in the fusion of the "Subject of the Newsletter" field as "Leigh, here ' (thanks to this string concatenate Cloud Connector); If you do not know my name, by default on the merger of field said 'Here'... so I find myself with"Leigh, here is your email" or"this is your email" source of bold italics of the merger .

  Still, a little complicated, but it will do the trick!

• E10: Split evenly the recipients in the dynamic content rule

  I would use "wildcard pattern matches" Eloqua Contact ID in a rule to randomly and evenly distribute dynamic content among all recipients of e-mail.  However this option is not currently available (DDL understands exactly, contains, etc.).   Is there another way to randomly and evenly divide my population, or configure the wildcard characters for contact ID (for example, * 4?)   Exactly and Contains does not seem to work.  Thank you!

  There is one thing that comes to mind when I think of your example.  The only way to get a true split must firstly, use the program generator.  If you are not familiar with it, think of it as Web of campaign in Advanced Mode, where each option is available.  Then run the percentage based routing to split your audience.  Then have a rule to update on the other side to set a value in Eloqua to set a value (T/F) for the A / B results.  Then send your program one step to send an email and because of the updated rule, you have created, you will be able to send a really dynamic from email of a split.

  To make it more effective, I would field 'A' 'B' group and group so that you can re - use these fields for any email on the line.  Just make sure that the end of your program clears these fields to make it work.
