  If most of your programs are 32-bit, I can see why you would want to change to 32 bit (although many work on 64 bit systems as well).  Do not forget to change, you need to do a clean install - which means that you need a full install disk and not a upgrade disk (you can update or fix) so you need to backup your data, but all your programs and settings will be lost and you will need to reinstall and reconfigure their (and this includes all Windows updates).  Indeed, there is no way to "convert" 64-bit to 32-bit without a clean install.  In addition, you may need to reinstall some of your device drivers if they are not included on the disc.  It is impossible for the manufacturer's recovery disc (he wears only the version of Vista) - you need to purchase a full commercial copy (well, I withdraw that - the manufacturer may be willing to selll you the recovery disc for the operating system 32-bit if they are available, so you should check with them).  You will also need a new product key to go with these new recovery disks, like the one on your machine is for the 64-bit system.

  Also, you will need a 32-bit processor to replace the processor 64-bit on your system - you should be able to get one of the manufacturer (or of several points of sale as long as you KNOW it is compatibile with your system and your motherboard - wrong that can FRY as well as your system.)

  PS My humble opinion, the 64-bit system can be quite a bit faster according to the task at hand to work with databases (but a lot or you're likely to use most will work at approximately the same speed) and can do more things at the same time (because it can accommodate more RAM) , but there are a lot of compatibility issues with software and hardware.  I'll stick with my 32-bit system quite a bit longer - it does the job very well.  Since you already have a 64-bit processor and version of Vista, I would change only if you have problems running 32-bit programs you really need/want to run - if not, I see no reason to spend the money to convert - but it's your decision to make.

  Call it the SQL guest (or Toad) everything works fine.

  But when trying to call apex_lang.update_translated_string from an application (with or without the security_group_id) APEX, nothing happens. No error message, the process is complete, but the string in the filing of the translation has not changed. Same effect for other api call that I mentioned. I tried the different authentication scheme in my application: DB account, users of the APEX, custom.

  An idea or a clue on what I'm missing here?

  Dear Mr. Rokitta,

  I tested myself on apex.oracle.com just now, and I had no problem using your anonymous PL/SQL block to update the chain of my filing of translation.  It worked successfully to these two SQL commands in SQL Workshop and also inside an APEX application running.  I also looked at the underlying code, and it's so simple - also long the security_group_id is set correctly, the specified ID is valid and the language code is the code of language of the APEX_APPLICATION_TRANS_REPOS chain, the update should go ahead.

  If set you a test on apex.oracle.com case where this would have been does not work, I would be happy to take a look.

  I want to temporarily disable the users to send and receive e-mail and messages on their devices.  What I've read, the way to do is to put "Redirect to BlackBerry" 'no' in the account configuration.  The problem I have is that I want to do from a Java application using the BES 5.0.3 Service Web interface and I can't find any way to do this.

  Can I retrieve the current value of the object AccountConfiguration and I see that it has a setter, but what is the method in the BWS interface I would use to change the configuration on the server?  If this is not yet supported, or I forgot something?

  Currently, this feature is not supported. You can set e-mail filters or the folder redirection using BWS, but stop the flow of messages in total is not supported.

  Feel free to submit a request for this feature by using Issue Tracker (link in my signature). It is important when using file a new application to include a good deal.

• What is the scope of the user when created with the API?

  I noticed that users created with the Adobe Connect API for my account/meeting are always listed in the Administration-> area users and groups.  Which probably means that the login of the user is valid for my meetings.  So if they wanted to register or attend a meeting controlled by someone else, they would have to re - register or be re-created by this administration.  Is this correct?

  I'm trying to confirm what I know how to enroll a user on my site.  It would be ideal that my site would record the user and also to connect the user without the user to enter a separate password (my site would be to generate and store the password).  If the API creates a user only for my meetings so this isn't a problem.  The user must always just go on my site go to the meeting.  However, if the user created by my account Adobe API can be used to access / register for meetings of others on Adobe then this approach is not so good because the user would need to know their password.

And for the user to do so, they must connect Connect Central and then my profile and then change their PW. Alternatively, they could use the forgot my password link on any page that requires to log on.   Hello. The access code on your iPad is the code four or six numbers you will need to enter to unlock the device. It has nothing to do with the verification of your Apple ID or two-step. Are you able to unlock your phone? If you are, then please describe the steps that lead to your problem. Since you have changed your Apple ID password, you will need to go to two settings > iCloud and settings > iTunes and app store and sign out of your Apple ID, then connect back with the new PW.

  FWIW, do not change the extensions of file simply by copying the files to an external drive.
