  I develop black berry 10 webworks app. I use the latest version of the sdk provided and the dev alpha 10 blackberry Simulator to run the application. I am also using the ripple chrome emulator to test and debug the application.

  Because you added the - d option, it should work very well. All you need to do is put the device/Simulator in developer mode (settings-> Security-> Developer Mode) and I guess you have already done this. It works well, but I get the error message "Firefox is already running, but is not responding" if I try to open external links with FF as my default browser. FF is actually open and works very well, but I guess that it does not recognize this fact due to how I started the beginning of the process.

  I could not add executables symbolically related to the component of default program. Is there a way to get around this error or another way to solve this problem?

• Remote control Acer / Arcserver are already running at start-up of the PC

  -generate a warning box "Application is already running." I get the warning whenever I start my computer. (Aspire AT3-600-UR33)

  The app works in fact - I can connect with my Android phone - but I want to get rid of warnings, and I would rather throw the app myself. I found the remote Acer folder in the program files folder, but when I tried to uninstall, I got: ' Invalid start Mode: Archive File Name. The Task Manager shows ArcServer (with ArcRemote and listed under the Windows Media Player) runs in the background process and is in the startup list.  I think that this problem started when I upgraded to 8.1 win, but I can't be sure. The application AcerRemote came pre-installed on my computer, but the application does not appear in my startup screen or the full list of applications below. Acer support has been SINGULARLY useless.  They want me to a "system refresh" to 8.0 Win, which would be clear but my files, but not necessarily to prevent the problem from happening again when I return to 8.1. They have not offered any explanation of the problem with THEIR App. everything I found out that I did without their help.  Any advice would be appreciated.

  UPDATE: I've collapsed the remote Acer in the Task Manager and was able to uninstall by using the control panel (file uninstall.exe in the app folder did not work - see above). Much simpler than the recommended Acer fix chat support.  Now, I want to see reinstall everything.  Where can I download it?  It is not in the app store for Windows.

  You can set your application to automotive performance at startup in Eclipse.  To do so, open the BlackBerry_App_Descriptor in your project and check "auto-run at startup.

  There is no support in fledgecontroller for the launch of an application by name.

  I need clarification on what the plugin Eclipse is telling me. There are two parameters that are confusing me. For components installed (found under preferences/Window/BlackBerry JDE/Installed Components), I have a choice of 5.0.0 4.7.0,4.6.1, 4.6.0 4.5.0 and 4.3.0.

  Depending on which component I select when I go in the tab Configurations.../Simulator/course walk, I see a different mix of devices.  In all cases, there is a default Simulator.

  Initially, I assumed that each JDE component supports a mixture of different devices, and that is it compiled correctly, I would be assured that the app would work for all devices on the tab run Simulator Configuration.  In my tests, I found theopposite.  I also assume that, for each component of the JDE, there is a 'default' Simulator that was representative of all devices in the drop-down list run Configuration Simulator.  In my tests, am not sure what actually represents the Simulator 'by default'.

  Can someone clarify how to JDE and Configuration simulators run installed interact and a developer show how to ensure that their application is running on a mix of devices?

  When I finally get to the point where I am ready to deliver, what are the points of decision of installation?  Is it enough to simply require a specific version of an operating system (for example 4.7?) or do I have to create a grid and check the two model number and version of the operating system?

  Usually when you stop and restart Windows, Firefox is not running and can be started normally.

  It is possible that something is triggering a process in your default browser and it is the hanging of Firefox. You can try to change your default browser to IE (IE can offer to do when you start) before the shutdown and restart Windows to see if it makes a difference.

  You are able to start Firefox in Safe Mode or start the Profile Manager?

  (1) safe Mode

  You can start Firefox in Safe Mode by holding down the SHIFT key when you start Firefox. (If you get directly in a new window, you must exit all Firefox Windows first).
