  An interesting point that came up during this discussion with RIM that I feel is worth mentioning here to maybe help someone else. If the PayPal account has an expired credit card attached to it, it could generate an error I received. Even if your main source of financing is your checking account or a different credit card, this could happen.

  Create a new user account on the computer by using your own account from Microsoft... Using the account of someone else is dangerous and you should not continue to use the machine like this. Heck, I would even reinstall the OS just to be sure.

  Mac and iDevices use completely different operating systems. Applications must be created separately for each system. Mac apps do not work on iOS and iOS apps do not work on Mac.

  Separate apps = separate purchases.

  If the Mac App Store has not see the apps it would not offer updates. Verify that the applications are not on a connected drive or a partition mounted.

  Ask when? Whether to download updates of your applications then all applications (and anything else downloaded from iTunes) are linked to the account that downloaded them - then only this account can download updates of its applications (and make in-app purchases in them).

  If you update the application, you enter log on the account that was purchased to update. It looks like your case.

  The title says pretty much all this. Microsoft Accounts has my wrong email address and it took a few days to correct, but when I tried to order in the games section of the app store, it still has the old address (which went nowhere) and would not be the service order.  How can I get the correct email in the app store?

  I understand that you are not able to download the app from the store Windows applications as it has the old email address.

  Please answer the question

  (1) have you tried to connect with the new email address?

  (2) did you get an error message?

  If this only happens in Windows Apps store, I suggest you follow the steps below to reset the cache to store and see if it works very well.

  (a) press the Windows key + R

  (b) type WSReset.exe and press OK
