  I have an Appasure camera with 12 discs of 600GO. They are 85% full and I need to increase the size of available storage. I also have a second remote system reproducing the main unit. Storage in the main unit is in two tables. Can I replace each table with larger disks and rebuild the replicated copy recovery points?

  If you use a serial device Dell DL (DL1000, 4000 or 4300) you cannot increase the capacity of repository without first ensuring you have the right, according to the capacity purchased license.  For example, if you purchased initially licensed 5 TB of capacity of the device, but now require 10TBs, you'll need to buy another license of 5 TB and extend the storage capacity of repository using a tablet of MD.  Impossible to replace the drives in the system.

  If you have your own AppAssure database server and choose to replace larger capacity disks, your roadmap for the reconstruction of the RAID and reverse replication replication is a good method to accomplish the task.

• Appasure seeding of the process

  I have set up replication and was seeding on a tough usb drive that works well and fairly quickly. This morning he told me that the drive was full, so I plugged another disc and I kept pointing to this new disc. He started, but slowed to 1 Mbps or there abouts.

  Any ideas why this happened?

  Add (again) to the replica of Tim, there are 3 things to look at:

  1. the length of the queue - as mentioned previously

  2 disk IO on the title bar of the disk activity (& green stuff in the graph)

  3. the highest active time - on the title bar of the disk activity. (& blue line on the chart)

  The most important is by far the higher activity time. Is not stuck at 100%, it means that the Player cannot maintain despite the low flow possible. Although whole queue waiting high indicates a bottleneck if the queue is low AND the activity time higher stop 100% (or in that vicinity) indicates that the storage environment is unable to follow.

  We have Dell DL4000 & we have configured the other two hyper-v server in appassure. Now, I've added a system more in Hyper-v, but I can't find the calendar setting.

  Manually for a 3rd system hyper-v works but how to make the calendar. Pls help

  Could someone get a decent report like we had daily in Replay?

  Replay has a PDF file that is sent by email every day. It shows healthcare system, failed and successful snapshots, free space on the repository, repository growth, etc..

  I had the CoreSummaryReport to run and send an email. I did it with all delivered with 5.4 PS1 files. I moved all the PS1 to C:\ scripts files.

  I have a batchfile with this inside.

  Hi everyone, first post.  I'm trying to restore using LMU on my server appasure.  I can launch the utility and mount the exchange database, but the ability to restore is grayed out, and I think that its due to this error.

  "MAPI subsystem could not be detected.  Restore feature will be unavailable.

  I really want to install outlook on a server without no reason.  Thoughts?

  If my calculations are right 46 KB/s x 4.66 hours = .74GB No 2.1 GB

  The speed goes up and down.

  From now appassure says the rate is 114,47 KB/s. resource monitor says that the total B/s of this IP address is 235 B/s. Who disagrees with them at all.

  My Netgear router receives 491 B/s. The only data should be the replication.

  They have only 3 people. Word, excel, quick books and a small SQL database.

  The mdf SQL file is 27 MB.

  I think that most of the size of the snapshot is overload of windows.

  Average rate of change per day basis summary report is 3 to 10 GB.

  At 40 KB/s x 24 hours, it's up to 3.29 GB per day, what can happen to my office. Replication is barley juggling.

  I could just XCOPY of the changes to my office through a VPN and it would average less than 3 GB per day.

  Status of the replication job posting is not the amount of data is transferred via the network, it displays the amount of data has been processed. Dell-AppAssure Source Core able to process (read) 2.1 GB of data, but could send a few percent of these data (due to deduplication).
