  • my windows live messenger does not work. HELP__its been like this for months now!

Hello so I tried to understand what is the problem with my msn, but I can't understand it!
whenever I am trying to connect, he said: "we cannot connect to Windows Live Messenger, signing windows live messenger failed because the service is temporill unavailable, please try again later.
    the "error code" is: 8e5e05f6

but the thing is if one of my friends try to to connect to my computer (using the same msn just for their account) it works! Help?

and also when I try to look for it in my uninstall programs, my computer can not find what it... as there is no! but when I try to install a new msn from the internet it is said that I installed everything already! so please help! its driving me crazyyyyy!

What WLM version do you use?  I think the latest version is Version 2009 (Build 14.0. 8009 7. 26)

Windows Live Messenger will appear in programs and features in Windows Live Essentials, you click on it and follow the instructions in the wizard.

If that's the problem with just your user login then that may need to be set at the end of the Server supported by WLM, or you can create a new Net Passport for yourself.

I have error 8e5e05f6 of code for the new msn live messenger. Today's date is March 21, 2009. I need help! Anyone?

  • Satellite A100: webcam works does not for windows live messenger on Vista

I recently lost my picture when working for video calls in windows live messenger, the sound of two ways and I can see them, but no one can see me.
I also bought an external webcam, and it does not work either.

When I go to Device Manager it says that the two cams don't work properly.
I tried to update the drivers but they are up-to-date.
I wonder if it's a problem of Windows live or Toshiba.
I use Windows Vista Home Premium and the new version of messenger.

    > I also bought an external webcam and it doesn t work either.
    > When I go to Device Manager it says that the two cams don't work properly

For me, it looks like a windows system problem.
Usually two webcams operate independently from each other and so I don t think that it is a webcam driver problem I think that it s windows or windows live messenger problem
Maybe something confused keys registry or files may be some updates to update or similar

In your case, I recommend you to uninstall the software of webcam software, internal external webcam and the windows live messenger.
Then, you must clean the BONES and the registry tool like CCLeaner cleaning, for example. It the free tool.

After this, reinstall the Chicony webcam software and test functionality without installation of windows live messenger.
If the webcam will be functions then you could install the windows live messenger again.

  • Changes to Windows Live Messenger

    Who may be affected,

I recently installed the beta version of Windows Live Messenger and my extreme disappointment, the use of the webcam is no longer available. Why is this?

I do not understand why you deleted this option in the program. I had several throughout my time hotmail accounts and have been used so the existence of applications that I use it almost daily as well as various other messenger users, I know.

Due to this change when I install the new version, I assumed that if I reinstalled the version, I had before I would get this back action... However, this was not the case and I was very aggravated that I wasted time doing this for no reason.

From what I can see of your last program 'development', Microsoft are trying too hard to make their own version of Skype... that many people use less often because she is of the video capabilities of Windows Live Messenger. Will tell you that companies regularly use video calls as a form of communication, but from what I see, your video call feature is far from being desirable and was not always reliable. Apart from that, in all honesty, your beta version is much more user-friendly and visually appealing. However, it would be obviously more attractive if she had the choice of video calls and webcam, as he always did.

I really hope you like what I said, as I'm sure many of your other customers are asking, and you did a little upset by the big change to the program. I look forward to hear from you.

  • file msnmsgr.exe missing in Windows Live Messenger

I am trying to install Windows Live Messenger on my laptop Vista Enterprise 4.1. The download and the installation went correctly, but when I try to run the Messenger by clicking on the shortcut, it gives me an error that the computercan not locate 'msnmsgr.exe' file. I also checked "C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Messenger\" file, but the file does not exist there.

I am downloading directly from Microsoft and have cleaned my computer, clean the registry and have tried the download/install several times.

    Help, please.

The only way to get the hidden folder is to type-

"C:\Users\usernamexxxx\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Virtualized\C\Users\usernamexxx" typed in the box to begin running with the username correct and entire line including the quotes.   You can't navigate past the Temporary Internet Files folder by clicking on folders and try to go like this.

What you might try is to uninstall Messenger Live and re-download the file wlsetup - web.exe from this link (to avoid the non-Microsoft links).

    Windows Live Essentials
    http://explore.live.com/Windows-Live-Essentials?OS=other

SAVE the file wlsetup - web.exe on your drive hard (do not run it from the server).  Locate wlsetup - web.exe on your hard disk and start the whole installation by right clicking on the .exe and the option to choose "run as Administrator".

Before you do the above, it would be wise to disable temporarily any scanner in real time that you use, as they may interfere with a successful installation.

  • Windows Live Messenger Build 14.0.8089.726 sign in

I got a message when I tried to connect with an earlier version of messenger that for security questions, I would need to download the latest version and she refused to let me answer no (as I previously had problems with the latest version and did not want to go through this again). Well, of course, does it again and I'm guessing he won't let me not reinstall a previous version as indicated previously for "security issues". When I try to connect (it takes about three seconds or less) it comes up with this error message (not everytime, as usual it just expires in three seconds and I try again) "Windows Live Communications Platform.

"Windows Live Communications Platform has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the inconvenience. »
Then it gives me the option to send an error report, which I always do.  Also, once the couple if I let him just sit there until I have send an error report it comes up with this: "we are unable to connect to Windows Live Messenger. Your contact list is not available at this time, please try again later. "More information (as a link) error code: 8e5e05ed" I have Windows XP, which is said by the way. If anyone can help, I would REALLY appreciate it.  Thank you.

Edit: I'm sorry to put this under what looks like a Windows visited forum. I'll try to remove it as soon as I find Windows XP one.

Additional information: I have been able to contact Microsoft about this and they sent a message with the following information:

    a. click Start, click run, type taskmgr in the run box and press ENTER or click OK. If you're running Vista, click Start, type taskmsgr in the box Search to Start , and then press ENTER.

    b. in the Windows Task Manager window, click the process tab.

    c. under Image name, locate Nsvcappflt.exe and click end process.

    d. click Yes to confirm.

    e. sign in to Windows Live Messenger.

This solved my problem.  I had to keep end Tasking Nsvcappflt.exe until I found that I could uninstall it completely (a manager of network of Nvidia or something).  So I hope this will help you guys as well.

  • Help, Windows Live Messenger/Essentials problem!

So yesterday, I had found that my built in webcam is not working. So I uninstalled, to see that I could not re install. I've looked everywhere on how to retrieve it (have a laptop HP Pavilion by the way, so built in Cyberlink Youcam) and finally decided to do a system restore. This is where the problem has gotten worse.

After the restoration of the system, was not only the situation of Youcam no, my Windows Live Messenger had also stopped working. Whenever I clicked on the icon, nothing appears. I tried to uninstall it (Windows Vista) by clicking Start > Control Panel > programs > uninstall/change Windows Live Essentials. It seems that I can't uninstall it! When I click on uninstall/change, it looks like "Windows Live Essentials has stopped working" following two options which are "Close program" OR "find a solution and close the program. I don't know what to do at this point, I spent 5 hours yesterday to the top at 02:00 am trying to solve this problem. Can anyone help?

Recently, my laptop has problems. My user profile cannot be loaded and even when I do another profile most of my downloaded programs is a party. But anyway, it's a different matter.

Windows Live Messenger worked great after all this. I connected and everything was fine. But then Windows wanted an update.
