\AppData\...\INBOX-6 file is too large (9.5 GB)

Windows 7, Thunderbird 31.3.0. I have a file \users\ < name > \AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\ <>Thunderbird.... default\ImapMail\mail. < domain >. com\INBOX-6 which grew at 9.5 Go. I checked almost all of my mail and I compacted the folders, but I can't reduce the size of this file. The timestamp of the file is at the minute. Whence the material in this file? How can I reduce the size of this file?

OK, I was cleaning up a bunch on my main email account, but it turned out that one of my lesser used accounts was the culprit. The AppData folders are just numbered 1... 2... 3 without real names, so I figured wrong. Thank you.

I can not transfer a file because it indicates the destination of the file is too large, though even I have enough space on my USB drive

How is your USB drive formatted (FAT-32 or NTFS).  If FAT - 32 there is a 4 GB limit on the size of the file it will transfer so no matter the amount of space you have on the USB key.  If you want to move this large files on the USB drive, you must convert the USB stick to NTFS.  Here's how: http://techblissonline.com/fat32-to-ntfs-conversion-in-windows-xp-or-vista/.

    I hope this helps.

  • "The file is too large for the destination file system? How to move this file to another folder with this error?

Working with Windows 7. I'm trying to move files to other readers. . What is the work around whan "" the file is too large for the destination file system"is the error messages. Can it be fixed so you can move the files

Either there is not enough space on the destination or the size of the file is larger than the destination system can accept, for example FAT32 cannot have a file size more than 4 GB.

  • 8 Windows media player says"files are too large to fit on a disk" when I try to burn a movie

When I try to burn my files utorrent movies, some of them have been able to burn, others would show a red x next to the titles that says that the file is too large to fit on a disc. Is it possible to solve this problem, do the smaller files, etc?

    Hi Rick,

    1. What is the format of the file you want to burn?

    2. What is the size of the movie file?

    3. What is the storage capacity of the disk?

    4. you try to burn on a CD or a DVD?

You cannot take more than 2 hours on a DVD FORMAT VIDEO unless you get a DVD double layer. If you burn a DATA DVD, make sure it's less than 4.3 GB for a single layer DVD and 8.5 GB for a double layer DVD. You can compress files, but the resolution will be less.

You can also use your search engine preferred to find software or applications to compress large files.

  • Cannot delete an e-mail in my outgoing folder guard trying to send but says file is too large.

My daughter has tried to send some pictures using my outlook express. After that 3-4 minutes I get an error that the size is too large. I can't remove it and evry time I login it tries to return with the same results. I use it to send invoices for my business, but he doesn't send them. I also am not getting my Inbox because he's trying to send first, and then stops working. Thanks for any help. Keith

Ok. A little more work, but don't be discouraged.

Create a new Outbox and sent items folder.

Follow these steps for the box of sent, and sent items after you move the messages you want to save to a local folder that you create.

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, the files of user OE (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

With OE closed, find the Outbox.dbx and Sent Items.dbx file and remove them. New files will be created automatically when you open OE.

  • The image file is too large

Hi, I am trying to download a book on Smashwords. I made the pictures so small now that I CASN barely see them (2.5 cm). Yet, this short story 1 200 words and 39 works of graphic art is still too large to download in format Doc (the one acceptable to swords)

I don't want to download a mac epub as it blows the content too. It never works with Smashwords requirements. (I made hundreds of changes and moving images in all directions no matter what)

I tried to compress the file and there is Mo.9 difference - not enouch.

I'm at 17.6 MB now, and I'm afraid this file will not work.

Is there anything I can do to make a smaller file with works of art (for small children) working here? Thanks guys and girls. Much appreciated if you go by.

To create this in what applications do you use?

Some applications (including MS Word, Pages, but also others) store several revisions and changes in the main document. Sometimes it's helpful (makes it easy to retrace your steps), but it leads to the bloat of the document.

There are two ways to reduce this. In Word, try to save as... to save a clean copy of the document (without any changes). In the Pages, use file-> advanced-> reduce the size of the file to do the same. Other applications may have similar options.

  • File is too large to burn.

I downloaded a file that cannot be burned with Windows media player 11.  The file downloaded from a recorder of figures and have no leads that it is 2 hours long and medial window will not let me burn to a cd.  How can I fix?

    Hello KARENLAMBERT,

    1. What is the size of the file you want to burn?

    2. you try to burn a CD or a DVD?

If the file size is too large, you will need to split the file and then try to burn it. There are several third-party software that will help you to split the file. You can use your favorite search engine to search for the software.

You can also reduce the burn speed and check. You can refer the link that will give you information about this below:

  • Signatures - when I 'mark read-only' file is too large

I use Adobe 9 Pro to create a form and it works fine. When I change the properties 'signed' by 'mark read-only' that the user fills fields, it makes the file grow to a huge 2 + MB file.

Any ideas on how to do this cut down? My next step will be to allow Adobe reader to be able to save the form, but it is too large to be usable in its current state.

OK, I went to my original copy that was 'weak' so I clicked 'Save as optimized'; highlight "fonts" and checked "do not désincorporer any what font"; clicked 'OK' saved as a new file and then changed my signature to read-only options and saved as an active player and it is now 591 KB instead of 2258 KB.

Thanks to me through the steps.

  • can not burn dvd says file is too large

When I try to burn a movie to a new disk, it says the file is too big for disc

A standard DVD can hold 4.7 GB.  If your movie is great as... Well you know you can't put stuff 10 pounds in a 5-pound bag.  :-)  You could buy double layer DVD-Rs and use it for your movies, and it works very well with your computer.  It may not work with a good standard DVD player.

    Good luck.

  • binary file is too large

    Hello

I wrote a simple VI to make playback of audio files and to record signals. It seems to do what I want (although I appreciate the General comments on good programming habits). The biggest problem I have is that the binary file, that is to save too much size. A few seconds registration gives a few megabytes of data. Although I can open binary file in matlab and analyze the data very well, the large file size does not look good.

Anyone know why this is the case? I tried to save the data into something else of the double rooms, but he always gives large file sizes. Played around with the byte order too without great success. Any help is appreciated (LV 2009 attached file).

    Thank you.

If your data acquisition unit is 16 bits or less, just to store data like I16. you store data more DBL and this is the number of pr of 8 bytes. It is perfectly feasible in I16 as wav files. However (in Labview at least) wav files is not a tablet. If the file size will be much larger than the MP3 files which is a compressed file format.

I'm trying to e-mail a personal voice recording on a digital voice recorder.  Google and Comcast rejected the message, indicating that the server of the recipient (Comcast) has rejected as too grand (1.46 MB) of the suggestions?

    =====================================
1.46 MB isn't a very large file... I think the Comcast
limit is something like 10 MB. The problem may be with the file
format... try to rename or compress the file and see it done
    a difference.

Example... If the name of the file has been voice.exe replace voice.jpg
and to inform your recipient to change back before playing.

Another alternative would be to download the file on the following

  • Video file is too large

I did a training project which contains 65 ppt slides and 5 minutes of time. When I publish it, it produces a SWF with 1.6 M and a MP4 with 67M, the video file is in XGA format. I think it is too big to use, how do I make it smaller, size is less than 10 M. Thank you.

Make it much smaller (resolution), choose the lower settings for video and audio. XGA will never give such a low file size, sorry.

  • My saved PDF files is too large. How to resize them

I have scanned and saved several documents in PDF files. However, they are too big, that some a page made for example up to 7 MB! The site of the State that I am trying to download these said too that they are too big. How to record their most small?

    Hello

You could save them as PDF size reduced by using Acrobat or you could also optimize them for more control.

You get these two options in Acrobat under the option "Save as."
