  You can use the WCM_PLACEHOLDER function to display the content of the definition of the region and the data file on any 3rd party portal.

  To call the contributor of the 3rd party portal you can use WCM_BEGIN_EDIT_SESSION service.

  These services work for SS - Designer based on sites and site elements.

  Our application uses the persistent store widely, and we try to find a way to fail gracefully, with a coherent, when the it policy error "allow third-party Apps to use persistent store" is disabled.

  Ideally, we would detect this setting programmatically and displays an error to the user to inform them that this is the condition that prevents us from running.  It seems that the ITPolicy class in net.rim.device.api.itpolicy would allow us to do, but I can't understand what I asked for to verify this IT strategy value - I can't find documentation on most of the system properties how to query their status and try the guess of getBoolean ("AllowThirdPartyUsePersistentStore", true) does not appear to return the correct value.

  Or, if there is a better way to detect this State, that would work too.

• Why finder hide Documents and office files in the home directory of the user by activating iCloud drive? What about the behavior of Time Machine backup or third-party applications?

  I'm under MacOS Sierra. I am connected to my iCloud account. I activated the option Desktop and Documents, but I did NOT activate the option optimize Mac storage, because I wanted to make sure that all my files would be available locally, just in case, I would need to work without an internet connection.

  -J' noticed there now a menu iCloud in my sidebar in the Finder, with links to Documents and desktop.

  -J' also noticed that Documents is no longer presented in my favorites in my side bar of the Finder.

  -This last suggests that files saved in 'Documents' are not saved more on my HD... but only in iCloud, which isn't what I want.

  -Then, sailing in the Finder Macintosh HD/users / 'My account' /, I noticed that my Documents and desktop folders are more visible, as if these files are not saved in my home folder most. Which raises the question: where are My Documents and files on my HD, so they are still?

  -Using a shell session in the terminal and again navigate to/Users / 'My account' /, I noticed that my Documents and desktop folders are still there. Which suggest that records and records of office reside actually still in my home folder under users, but Finder actually hide it and present them as being stored in iCloud only disc. It's very confusing.

  This raises several questions:

  -In the first place, why Apple hide Documents and office files in the directory? Why not view these folders in iCloud and directory?

  -Whence the iCloud folder or drive, reside actually on my hard drive?

  -What time Machine. Is it still back up my document files and folders?

  -What games third-party app mirroring backup of My Documents files and folders? They still work properly? (I use Livedrive backup and Sugarsync for files mirrored across several macs).

  -How can I understand that Apple is doing with my folders and files? Some users might be happy with the iCloud drive concept, without worrying about how it works, but I don't take chances, and I want to keep a good understanding about the functioning of my system.

  With office and selected Documents, access to these files are now in the iCloud Drive, not in your home folder.

  My guess would be that they do not appear in your file because it would be confusing for many people to make them in two places.

  If you want in the Favorites, open iCloud Drive and drag them in the sidebar here.

  All about iCloud drive has been saved on your Mac. With the exception of the office and the Documents, they are in ~/Library/Mobile Documents. However, if you choose optimized storage, older documents are removed from your Mac. I don't know what is "old".

  ~/Documents and ~/desktop have new metadata indicating probably Finder does not display them in a Finder window, only in iCloud drive. They are not hidden in one of the normal methods of unix.

  I have not tested Time Machine or any other backup program. The folder still exist in your directory home, and they still have all the files, I don't think that changes anything.

  I recently brought an iPad 2 Air, but it was found that some of my third-party devices do not work with it. I also own an iPad mini, so I try the equipment on the mini, it works. I've been worrying is that my iPad 2 Air was a problem of equipment causing it or what. Two iPads running iOS 9.3.1.

  My Equil Smartpen 2, it can connected on bluetooth, but the software does not recognize that the pen was connected.

  My I-Flash Drive have the same problem, the software does not recognize it and hang.

  First of all, I would like to try a reset by pressing the power and Home keys until the Apple logo appears.

  If this does not work, I suggest that you visit an Apple store (with all your gear) and ask them to test/diagnose the problem.

  Actually I don't have any problems with my multimedia buttons. Suffice it to configure them to work for Winamp.

  I have a satellite A105-S4004 with 4 (actually 6, if we count the first and the last two) multimedia buttons and I would like to play/pause, stop, and ffw/rew in Winamp, not Windows Media Player, as is its default behavior.

  The question is even greater because I know where to set it up, as I start the assistance of Toshiba and I start the Toshiba button control. From there, I click the multimedia tab and I have two menus, which I should be able to select another program for media to work with buttons.

  I have Winamp, iTunes, QuickTime, PowerDVD, RealPlayer and same Windows Media Center, none of them appearing on the list. The second list is even worse because I can't choose a DVD player by default program at all (not even win MP).

  So, is there something I can do, any third-party program that I could use to help me or any other tool to configure this or a setting that I missed? BTW, I have the latest updates of all the tools of Toshiba, so don't advice upgrade me... been there, done that, nothing...

• Apple TV (4th gen) cannot run third-party applications

  In the last days, I knew this major problem where I can't run third party applications. When I go to all third party apps, the screen goes grey (background parallax effect) and I press the Menu button to see the home screen again.

  I saw these 2 times now, and the apps would work very well for some time between the two.

  Built-in such as movies and App Store apps seem to go very well.

  Network seems fine as I could watch movie trailers.

  Make sure that there are no applications running in the background by force to leave everything.  Since the double home screen, tap the button with the silhouette of the TV and slide up all the apps that appear outside the home screen.

  I have apps that will work just fine one day and then throw in a screen empty the next.  Forcing everything to quit running in background solves the problem.  You'll be amazed how many programs accumulate since you never really left a program when you return to the home screen.

  I think that the system software and applications are pretty buggy at this stage in order to make the applications completely leave minimizes problems.
