• 9.2.1 and Apple pay

  Updated my 6s in 9.2.1 this morning.  Later in the day, I tried to use Apple pay to a place where he had previously worked at Marvel (Walgreens), and the loyalty and credit card failed.  After that, I have it turned off and restarted... but also noticed that portfolio was not switched "on" in the iCloud settings.  I don't remember light, which was part of the initial installation... need for Apple pay work? (Have not been able to find anything dealing specifically with that).  If it was before, then the update apparently drop it.  If it should not be on, what is causing the problem?  Will try again, but it's far from ideal to be futzing autour when there are people online.

  Nope.  He didn't turn to me (I have updated to iOS 9.2.1 yesterday and used pay Apple successfully today).

  Also check settings > Wallet & Apple pays and make sure the settings to make sense.

  Thank you for using communities of Apple Support. I understand Apple pay is not an option when the double click the Home button. I know access pay Apple for a locked screen can do so useful everyday. I'm happy to help you to get this resolved with you.

  I recommend first restart your iPhone. This can solve many unexpected behaviours. Follow the steps below if necessary.

  1. Press and hold the sleep/wake button until the Red slider appears.
  2. Drag the slider to turn off your device completely off.
  3. Once the device turns off, press and hold the sleep/wake button again until you see the Apple logo.

  Restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

  If the problem persists, the next option would be to reset all settings. It takes all the defaults, including passwords and Wi - Fi networks, alerts, notifications, brightness, wallpaper and sounds. This will also remove your cards Pay of Apple. Even if no content is lost with this step, it is always a good idea to back up first. If you do not have a recent backup, use the following link for assistance if necessary.

  Once you have correctly saved, reset all settings in settings > general > reset > reset all settings.

  I received a message after trying to add my card to pay Apple and once I pushed next to add a message came and said

  'your transmitter does not offer support for this card' has anyone else had this problem? Or went to their bank? I went to my Bank and talked to my banker, and she told me that they were on a waiting list to get on Apple pay! Could this be why it does not work? It then I hate my Bank so badly! I can not even use my card on itunes

  Hi, Im not sure if its my imagination, but since I enabled Apple pay on my iPhone and Apple Watch on the watch battery drains really quickly.  I mean she went from 48% to the reserve of 10% of the power warning in a few hours.   I'll have to wait until I can go home and recharge the watch once again to see how it performs, but isn't a problem at all please?

  You can probably remove and re - enter the map.  Settings > portfolio & Apple pay unless the credit card is also the default value, the one you use with your Apple ID.  In the latter case, go to settings > iTunes & App Store > Apple ID > review Apple ID > payment information to update your card information.  Yet once, you may need to remove and re-add the map here.

  I created Apple pay on my watch, but not on my iPhone. Is there a problem with that. My reasoning is that I always have my Apple Watch on and use it only for pay.

  There is no problem with setting up Apple pay only on your watch, if you prefer not to set it up on your iPhone.

  I just got the new iPhone more 6s with iOS updated 9.3.1

  I have never used the feature to pay apple on any iPhone but thought I'd be on it, but it does not give me the option to add a card.

  I'm in the portfolio, and it only gives me the option of adding Passes, scan a code or find applications for the portfolio.

  I tried most of the videos, but none of them give a meaning to this version.

  In fact, I have all sorts of problems with Apple pay. It is usually when I draw my iPhone from my pants pocket - unless I want it. I stood at the checkout trying to make it appear at Whole Foods more times that I recall and embarrassed when he never does.  How you would evoke it when you need?  I only get it when I don't need. Very frustrating and not easy to use for what could be a great app if it was a bit more cooperative.

  Yes, it's how you do it. You can also call it by pressing the phone to the Terminal. If this does not work on your phone, have what troubleshooting steps you taken? If you have restarted?   I have applepay on 6s iPhone and Apple Watch.  Until a few months ago, I used to use Apple pay in the BP gas by my work station to buy lunch almost every day until the day I had a denied transaction tries to pay with my Virgin Atlantic American Express card issued by the Bank Mbna using my Apple Watch.  I immediately used my card into the machine put my PIN in and fine, has authorized the transaction. I thought there must have been a glitch.

  I then tried the same thing the next day and got the same result.  However, Mbna also issue a card for the same Visa account for when shops accept AMEX.  This worked on my fine Apple Watch and the transaction works.  Since then I can not yet make payments using the AMEX card, although when I go in Apple pay he says my card Amex is ready to make a payment.  Visa card for the same account works fine.

  I tried in McDonald this time with ApplePay using the map on my iPhone 6 and having Amex tried 3 times the operation would not yet go through.  Said just not allowed on Terminal cashiers so pay cash this time.

  I notice as I can't use Apple pay as a method of payment within the app Store from Apple.

Yet, I have to find a way to do the same thing on my Apple Watch (watch OS 2.0.1) the card I want to be the default value is the 3rd added card so I spend twice to get the card I want as default.   On your iPhone, in the application of the watch, go to: Watch My > Wallet & Apple pays

  Under your cards listed, there is a section for non-tap the name of your default map existing card (next to this topic) to set another card as a default to pay Apple on your watch.

  Apple pay is available in some countries:

  Unless your area of iPhone is set to one of these regions, you won't see unable to add maps to Apple pay portfolio:

  • Go to: settings > general > language and region > region.
  • If they are already correct, try reselecting the same Format of the region and also the language of the system itself.

  It is also possible to add payment cards supported of the participating banks or stores within these countries.
